    Inside

This restaurant is pretty unique! There's an almost rustic and chill vibe inside. The staff was okay -- nothing too notable. One of the better places in CSTAT to get a burger!! Ambiance: The environment was clean, and there are a lot of different seating options, from high-top stools to regular tables and chairs, plus plenty of outdoor seating. Dimmer lighting and soft music playing. Burger: The burger was massive, juicy, and packed with flavor. You can tell the meat was good quality, cooked perfectly, and well-seasoned. Fries: The fries were incredible -- super crispy on the outside yet soft inside. They came out hot and well-seasoned. They paired really well with the burger and were definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Shrimp Basket: The shrimp were huge and cooked perfectly with a nice, crunchy batter that wasn't too greasy. The hush puppies that came with it were a little spicy, a jalapeño kick. Everything tasted fresh and well-prepared.

I was in town for a basketball game and we were looking for a pre game lunch. Yelp led me to Koppe Bridge and it turned out to be a huge favor! Use GPS to find this place because it practically has no exterior signage. It's in a one story wooden building with a front door with no windows. Just look for the parked cars in front and on the side. When I walked in the door, I immediately realized that this was a good restaurant. Many people were inside enjoying their meals with about 10 people waiting in line to order at the counter. It only took about 5 minutes before it was my turn to order. I chose the Koppe Bridge Burger Basket for $12. This included a 1/2 lb. beef patty dressed on a bun with cheese and hand cut fries. For $1 less I could have got the same thing except for a 1/3 lb. patty. With a fountain drink and tax my bill was $15 and change. Oh, by the way they serve beer here too. My order was ready in about 10 minutes. Simply put the food was perfect. Those hand cut fries were lightly salted, hot and absolutely delicious. I don't understand why more burger type restaurants can't make their french fries like this. The burger was as good as any burger that I have ever eaten. The big bread bun was soft, satisfying and held everything together. The juicy and flavorful 1/2 lb. beef patty made me glad I ordered the large version of it and with the fresh tasting lettuce, tomato, etc. made the burger memorable. When eating this meal I immediately thought this was a strong 4 meal but as I continued I thought no this was a 5 star meal. Like I said perfect and also a bargain. Nowadays a burger of this size and quality and those amazing fries should cost more. Koppe Bridge may not look like much from the outside but inside it is burger heaven. You can tell this is a place that locals love. I now know why. Come eat here!

    Philly cheesesteak and fries

I didn't hate Koppe but it could have been better. I got a Philly cheesesteak - nothing special about it although it was kind of greasy. Worst of all, the fries weren't good which I think is the bare minimum for a burger place! I'd go to Burger Mojo for a much cheaper, much more delicious option. The atmosphere of the place was fine: there was plenty of space and I actually liked the wooden vibe, however, I didn't like that people had carved things into the table (the tables reminded me a lot like those in the Dixie Chicken). Maybe I just am not a fan of the bar vibes. Lastly, it was pretty far away from campus (15-20 min drive) which is a huge negative in my books. I don't want anyone to assume I hate Koppe: for example, I didn't get food poisoning, the waiters weren't rude, the food was edible, etc. I just didn't like it and wouldn't return unless someone else wanted to go.

What's not to love about awesome frozen margs and big ol' burgers!? We actually came once and they were out of burgers, but my chicken sandwich was really good. Usually though, I've gotten a simple cheeseburger and fries. They come in a basket as any dive-y college bar fare should. Friendly workers and patrons as well, always in a good mood here.

TLDR: No frills, above average burger in a causal rustic country building with classic country playing! Came here after talking with someone about the hole in the wall local places around CS. I love the rustic wood theme. They had classic country playing. Overall a simple order, sit and wait, go get food when your name is called burger joint. The burger was good. I can't really say it was award winning worthy. But it was good. The buns were soft, buttery, and possibly lightly fried. They grill the onions - if asked. I will say it is rare to see it offered as a upcharge where I come from. It's more of an expectation for anything claiming to be award winning. Ha. The other veggies seemed fresh. The tomatoes were certainly above a stage for most burger joints. The fries were small enough to be throughly cooked. They still had their skins. Which is another plus. I would have preferred they be a tad crispier. But at the same time, I didn't request them to be crispy. To get back on my onions kick. Ha. A tip for them is to cut their onion slices shorter so you aren't ripping them out with every bite.

    Patty Melt

Food was great! Honestly, patty melt was better than the burger. Service was a tad slow, but it was busy and on the weekend so I will give them that. The ambiance is a classic Texan feel, however, they have Pepsi products which (for me) is a con! Would come back if in College Station.

All Around GREAT EXPERIENCE! Great food. Friendly staff. Fun atmosphere. If you're looking for your Quintessential Burger Joint- then THIS is the place. Best patty melt I've had since arriving in Texas 3 years ago.

1/3 pound cheeseburger. Hand cut fries!

Was in College Station recently and was wanting to hit a spot that was local approved. Asked around and a few folks recommended Koppe. It's a few miles from campus and A&M stadium and is situated in a historic building that used to be a small Shiner Brewery. It's no frills- Cheap beer, burgers, and a ton of character. We started with the fried pickles and they were absolutely awesome, tasted fresh and not of some frozen variety. Followed that up with a third pound cheeseburger with fries, some dipping sauce and it was solid. It was big and the hand cut fries were awesome. The place has amazing tables with carved initials and messages on them. You can smell the history in here. Staff was friendly to a fault too and very welcoming. It's an awesome spot if you're wanting something more casual in the area that's not a chain with some personality. Loved it.

I used to live around Hempstead, Prairie view and Waller a couple years ago when I first came to Texas and it was kinda hard finding good places to eat ' I'm not gonna lie I was scouring yelp for about 30 mins before I stumbled across Burger House. I even got to the point where I asked some locals and they said Burger House was a burger staple in C station. Upon looking at the photos, it seemed like a burger that you make at the house to be candid. When I pulled up, I was like "oh wow this place look like a straight shack that's fasho." I decided to go through the drive-through & when I pulled up to the drive-through the gentleman who took my order was hella welcoming and just overall nice like he was happy I pulled up. I swear I was the highlight of my visit. I ended up getting the combo , bacon cheeseburger with fries and a drink, and it was for decent price too. The burger itself was mediocre if I'm being honest, the meat lacked some seasoning, though the fries were pretty decent with a soft inside, light crisp outside. I like the fact they put the lettuce, tomato, onion and pickles on the side instead of in the burger which can make it soggy. So there was some attention to detail. The Bun though? That thang was soft on the outside and was lightly toasted on the inside, which was dope. Would I be back? If I'm being honest, just to say wasup to the gentlemen who took my order and that's about it!
