Food was great. It was good quality and plenty of it. Issues I had was we were a party of 6 and they gave us a table with 1 burner to cook and the burner doesnt get very hot, so all together it took us 3 hours to get through our dinner which is WAY too long!! Parties larger than 4 people needs 2 burners. Also we went to celebrate our birthdays and they did get us dessert which is great, however it was ice cream w/sparklers and they gave that to us right in the middle of our dinner. We told them we were still eating but sang, dropped them off and by the time dinner was over, the ice cream was melted. So we felt rushed but had to finish cooking our food. So staff needs to pay attention. Also the Jananese wine we wanted was out of stock and so since this was my first time going, I didnt know they had a full bar, because they had no coctail menu and wasnt offered a coctail so I had iced tea- which was good. I want to go back again and give it one more try but with 2 people and see if the experience will be different. For what we paid, though, the service and experience should be perfect. They need more training on serving large parties. read more

All I could say was WOW it's perfect amount of food for all 5 of us. At first we thought it's not enough... but little did we know... we ended up super full and to force ourselves to finish the last 2 plate of meat. The meat were very fresh! The water as always tasted weird so I got a soda. The whole experience was amazing and the server was super nice. We went during weekday but there were no one there in afternoon. The only problem was the grill was not strong enough for some reason so the food took so much longer to cook. The server even warned us at first and offered us a cast iron to cook faster. Which we say no at the beginning but yeah she was right it's very slow. And once she added the cast iron it cooked so much faster. So losing one star for this inconvenience, the other time we came we didn't have this problem. read more

Kore Steakhouse in Lakewood Ranch used to be one of my absolute favorite spots and honestly one of the reasons I felt so aligned moving to Lakewood Ranch. It was my number one restaurant for a long time. I loved bringing friends and family here because every experience felt special and consistently amazing. We came for Valentine's Day, expecting that same level of quality, and unfortunately it was not up to par at all. The experience felt disappointing compared to what Kore used to be. The meat quality and overall ambiance have definitely gone downhill in my opinion. It almost feels like since the owner has shifted more focus to Kuro Sushi, there is less presence and attention at Kore. I could be wrong, but the difference was noticeable. We were honestly so sad leaving because this was a place we genuinely loved and recommended often. After so many amazing memories here, having such a poor experience was really disappointing. read more

They also have a large selection of traditional, Korean dishes from the kitchen as well as a terrific wine list and cocktail menu. Wow - what a find! Enjoyed HH at the bar. Amanda did a fabulous job taking care of us & made me a delish espresso martini! For dinner we each got a ginger salad - what a great deal for $4 - large & full of fresh green lettuce! We then grazed on the shrimp tempura, chicken skewer, salmon crudo, & the amazing KFC. Honestly all 10/10! Came for dinner on a Saturday, with a reservation. Service: Kate was our server and was incredibly attentive and friendly. Very efficient and helpful throughout our dinner! She really made the experience amazing and we highly recommend requesting her! Our first time here was great! Our waitress was super helpful explaining everything, the menu, sauces, how to cook, anything we needed, she was there for us and amazing. The restaurant was busy but still quiet and private which we both really appreciate for a date night. The grill experience is fun to make a date night a slowed down and relaxing experience. Our server was sweet and helped with questions and decisions. Cons: There wasn't enough for my son. We chose the Butcher's Pride. The corn was only eaten by me. It was delicious so no complaints there. My son had most of the meat (chop, filet, and strip), but they were small portions. The main meal was done and we both were left hungry. We were appeased with our dessert of table s'mores, but not full. There is street parking on the street that the restaurant is on and there are also spaces throughout the neighborhood. This restaurant does a great job accommodating my having Celiacs Disease. I usually can have most of the items that are served. When ordering it's kind of like how a hibachi is meaning they have different platters you chose from like all steak or chicken and seafood etc. We usually get the Butchers cut which I think has different cuts of steak as well as pork and I believe I add on a side of shrimp for a small fee. The Japchai is really delicious here and I highly recommend it. This restaurant is great for a date night or family night. They are never super busy so I don't think you need a reservation, but I usually just make one. This place is also not expensive. read more

Went here for a girls night with my cousin. Had a reservation on a Tuesday night at 8pm. Upon arriving a few minutes early, they offered us a table right away. The hostess Skyla was very friendly and professional. Our server Anasofia was also very kind and helpful in explaining how to use the barbecue grill and cut the meat as we had not done this before. She was also great at making recommendations and explaining the menu so we knew how to order. The drink we ordered, I think called Botanic, contained yogurt and was delicious and refreshing. There was not a single thing I did not like. I usually don't enjoy kimchi but theirs was mild and I liked it. Overall, a very positive experience. Prices are high but for good quality, for me it will be more of a special occasion place but I could see coming here often. Especially for appetizers and drinks. I can't say enough about this Restaurant we were able to go for lunch for our 28th wedding anniversary and we served by us very cordial and professional young lady named Ann. She was our chef as well. Everything we had was phenomenal. We opted for the chef's experience so we didn't cook our meal ourselves, but everything that she cooked for us was Amazingly delicious. I think my absolute favorite was the filet mignon and the Wagyu beef tartare. The setting is very nice, a bit too high end for me. The bar was very cool, you can order bar food while you wait for your table. The BBQ was ok. First it's very pricey for the amount of meat, however the quality is very good. The banchan selection is very low and the kimchi wasn't great. I wish there was veggies and more sides to go with the expensive meat; to wrap or just something to nimble on other than the 4 banchan. If you want to impress someone on their first KBBQ and you have the $$... great place to go. If you are a KBBQ experienced foodie, I'd go somewhere else.
