Wow! Straight up AWESOME. I had the bulgogi beef (pictured) and it was fresh hot and what I would expect from my mothers kitchen - epic. Side dishes were great and included healthy and yummy cucumber radish etc. The people working here are Korean and very nice and cool. Got the Galbi and Soondubu Tofu soup. Both were really good. The Galbi was a little pricey for the portion size (17.99), but what it lacked in portion size it made up in flavor. It was really good. We got 3 side dishes with our meal. Pickled cabbage, kimchi, and cucumber kimchi. All the side dishes were good. I'm disappointed when you go to a Korean restaurant and the kimchi is not good. Call to check hours and inquire about several menu items just before 7PM, they state they are open until 7:30. I stated I'll be calling back with my order soon when I figure it out with others. Start driving there and so food is hot, call back at 7:08 for over 10 minutes to place order and get no answer with the phone going to a voicemail. Owner was nice. Very sweet older gentleman. I ordered the kimchi tofu stew and fried dumplings. The dumplings I'd give a 5. The rating of a 3 was for the soup. Maybe I just wasn't in the mood for kimchi soup. I was hoping for more tofu in the soup. One soup, one fried dumplings, one drink and one rice came to 24.45. I was ending early at a workshop in Harrisburg. I was within fairly close driving distance of a Korean place that I had visited once but I didn't recall what the name was and how to get there. Calling on Yelp. I was excited to see that a new Korean place had opened up, was closer, and had good reviews. The map and directions from Yelp got the exit wrong but I figured Lemoyne wasn't exactly a metropolis and I could proceed with the exit it told me to get off at and take my chances. It was the correct exit, the Yelp/Apple directions had the number wrong. Driver beware. Soon enough, I found my way. As I sat down, I saw one of the staff leaving. Lunch hour was over--it was around 1:00 and it was down to Ma and Pa running the place. I decided to catch the server, Pa, while I had the chance and order quick before he scurried away. It was a spicy pork something dish. I like spice so I told him to make it spicy. The place was packed, though it is smallish to start. Not too long after, my meal appeared. Hmmm. Not spicy. Didn't much look like the picture. But it was good so I didn't raise a ruckus and create an international incident. Pa several minutes later came up and apologized for getting my order wrong. It looked like he was going to take my third eaten plate. I told him that it was fine but could he order a to-go Spicy Pork. Bummer. I would have to eat more Korean. The Spicy Pork rocked, my lunch dish of Sweet Potato Noodles and Beef was very good but not as good as the Spicy Pork. Mistakes happen and I was more than happy to pay full-freight for the meals. As it was, if he had not come clean, my assessment of the food would have been that the pics were not accurate (not the first Asian place to do that), that the spicy wasn't spicy (again, not a first), and the pork tasted like beef. Otherwise, I would have departed contented but not convinced. The picked cukes, cabbage, and radishes were delish. Next door is an Asian Grocery worth a visit but I have seen better in Lancaster. The proprietor was making Kimchi in the back of the store. Didn't 't look too sanitary. So, Lancaster's Asian Market is far superior to this operation but the Korean food definitely is much better at Korealicious than my fair city. Great place! Oh good heavens, is this place good! There is a reason that there are so many pictures of the bibimbap on Korealicious's Yelp page. I ordered it since I had never tried it before anywhere, and I am so glad I did. The pot was super hot, which allowed the bits of rice on the bottom to get nice and crunchy. I wasn't sure how hot the spicy version would be, so, at the server's recommendation, I got the spicy sauce on the side. With the sauce and the yummy egg yolk mixed it, the bibimbap was thick and hearty and perfect. Try it when you go the first time, and then branch out on future visits. My husband got the spicy noodle soup and loved it. Big fat noodles and lots of seafood and he scooped up every last spoonful of the spicy broth. We will return soon. read more

Never had Korean food before and when we pulled up it is a little hole in the wall in a strip shopping center. Don't let that turn u away, wow was it good! I had the spicy pork and it left a thin layer of sweat across the head which is a perfect spice for me. Definitely a go to place and if I am ever back in the area I will be back! Pros: Authentic Korean food, tacos, and the kimchi. The food here is great, especially the tacos. The kimchi is also very good and they do sell it to go as well. Cons: Drinks, and atmosphere. I ordered water and it came out with absolutely no ice and lukewarm. The water had a weird taste to it, almost as if the plastic cup soaked in some of the flavors of the food when getting ran through the dishwasher. The atmosphere is terrible. The tables have this cheap plastic tablecloth on it and the chairs are less comfortable than a plastic lawn chair. I've been in here a few times now and am just now writing a review. Every time I have visited I usually get the food to go but today was the first day I decided to eat in. The food has always been great, the tacos especially. Today I got one of the soup bowls and it came out in this black pot and the soup was still boiling when it was brought out. I went with the spicy version of the soup because I'm combating a cold and it cleared my sinuses right up! Nice and spicy without being inedible. The service was nothing to complain or praise about although I will say that after our food came out no one checked on us at all. Overall I would rate this place as pretty average with the food being delicious and the rest of the details (service, atmosphere, etc..) to be sub par. read more

This place is awesome. Soon as you walk in you can smell how great it is. The food comes out super fast and they have a great selection of food to pick from. The flavors are so good. Every bite you just have a burst of so many different flavors at once. It's like your sitting in Korea eating it's so close to favor. The price isn't to bad either. The quality of the food is worth it. There bi-bim-bop is a for sure pick if you can't decide on what you want. The pickled vegetables that come out are super yummy to. The kimchi also is very good. At last! A real Korean place in Central PA. Korealicious does a good job with bulgogi, japchae, and bibimbap. We haven't tried some of the fusion options they offer for lunch, but I'd like to--bulgogi burgers and kalbi burritos and tacos? Sure! The fusion of Mexican form with Korean substance is all the rage, thanks to Kogi, in our native Los Angeles. We'll go back for that. In the meantime, we had a very nice dinner with fairly attentive service, nice poricha to drink, and the satisfaction of a discovery we can keep discovering. read more

Korean food is one of my favorites. Chinese food can't compare, and we all know sushi is basically a scam. Truth be told, out of all Eastern food kinds, Koreans are at the top. They know what's up. This restaurant is fantastic because they know Korean food for real but they also know about other things like burritos, which aren't Korean but they are good. Kim chi is not from Mexico but hot damn does it work in burrito! The Kim chi at Korealicious is just right. I ate Kim chi once as a baby and liked it. Now I still like it. I would take my baby to Korealicious and they would like it. I don't have a baby. And you can't bring cats inside restaurants anymore, or ever. Beats me. I will leave you all with one final thought. I love food but never again, So I ordered seafood stir fry noodles & was asked how spicy I wanted it. I specifically told her very spicy (spicy, extra spicy, spicy as hell)basically asked for it to be really spicy but food came out nowhere near spicy because my friends hated spicy food but could be able to eat most of my noodles...So I ask for spicy sauce on the side & the owner/cooker brings me ketchup and Texas hot sauce mixed making it seem like it was some special Korean sauce... The Kalbi was amazing. However, not for $20. Especially not for that amount of food either. The menu has all the typical korean food... but i was really surprised (not in a good way) that some of it was a fushion (not talking about the ones on the fushion menu). I also ordered the spicy pork and was EXTREMELY disappointment. I was expecting the usual korean spicy pork, but it was a fushion with veggies i had never seen in the dish before (i've lived in Korea, have eaten korean food in major cities around the world, and will be moving back to korea next month). I cant say it was bad... but it wasnt the usual and not a taste i liked or expected. It taated very... Americanized. They also added some fushion into their soon dubu which i wasnt a fan of. Very disappointing since I love soon dubu so much that I used it eat it every day for lunch in korea. Overall.... it fits the American taste well... just not the Korean taste. Very disappointing. Especially the price. $60 for two people? That is not even a price I paid in one of the best Korean resturants in NYC, and the flavor didn't even amount to a street stall. Everything was delicious and all of the food was so fresh and cooked well. The udon noodles made the dish even better and it was perfectly spicy to my requested level of spiciness, not to mention my portion was huge! As much as I would love to give a 5, I just feel like they were lacking something. While the flavor of my dish was good, my boyfriend, who ordered a completely different dish had his food seasoned exactly the same. I'm not sure if there are a variety of flavors, and I wish that the menu was a little more descriptive and had a few more options. I also wish that some of the things that are only offered during lunch were available all of the time. I will likely go back, due to this being one of the only Korean places in the area, but I hope to come back and try something new! read more

Ambience: The place is tiny for the amount of tables that are crowded into it. I thought the bright orange walls and plastic picnic checkered tablecloths were charming. The restaurant gives off a warm, inviting feel. There weren't many people when I was by. Food: The food is average for Korean food. The printed menu is limited, but additional items they will prepare can be found by the register. The banchan, or side dishes, provided were limited. In a true Korean restaurant they serve 10 or more. Most places I've been to on the East cost serve between 6 and 8. Korealicious only served two, and both were kimchi. The one kimchi wasn't sour enough to eat. We ordered three dishes: a seafood panjeon, soondubujjgae, and jaeyuk bukeum. All three dishes were tasty with the right amount of spice. I did wish they served the tea in real cups/mugs instead of styrofoam. Notes: The owner was present and came over to chat for a few minutes after we had finished our meal. I thought it was a nice gesture and she was very friendly. :) Also, if you're in the mood to make your own delicious Korean food, or want to try more variety...there is a small Korean grocery a few spaces down in this shopping complex. There is no waiter service; make sure to place orders at the counter and specify if it will be to dine in or to go. Bottom line: It's a good local eat. If some members in your party are less adventurous with their diets, Korealicious' menu includes fusion options to satisfy pickier eaters. read more

I was craving traditional Korean food while on a business trip in a nearby town. Korealicious satisfied my craving and is pretty authentic overall. I got the soondubu jigae (spicy tofu soup) and kimchi pancake and my friend got the bulgogi. My soup and pancake were very good. The bulgogi was okay, very tender but didn't have enough sauce for my liking. My only complaint would be that there should be more side dishes. We only got 3 small side dishes, a spicy cucumber, cubes of daikon radish and a dish of kimchi. Other Korean restaurants I've been to always serve several sides. I really like eating here when I'm visiting. If you remove the walls, the resturant really gives you a vibe of a street vendor in asia. Some of the food aren't too my liking, which is just my personal taste. So don't take that into account. I haven't tried any of the western version, only the traditional food. I haven't been disappointed in any of it. However, the flavor sometime are a little different each time. I'm not sure why, but I still enjoy eating them. The customer services that we get are usually 4 stars. They seemed to know customer services etiquettes, which is rare in small resturant. However, I sometime feel rushed by them. I eat like an old traditional asian person with all different main and side dishes. While my partner in crime may be full...I'm still eating. So sometime, they will ask if you want to get boxes to go. Which is nice that they pay attention to you. Whenever, I eat at the location, I never feel awkward like someone is watching me while I am eating. Once I order, they disappear behind the wall until they bring my food or check on me. They always seemed to know when I enter without that annoying doorbell. My only complaint is the price for some of the foods are over priced for the amount you get. I also wish they give you more amount on the side dish. When I go to other states for the same thing, it is a lot cheaper than here. They tastes about the same. Except for the spicy rice cake. This is the only place in the usa where I will come just for spicy rice cake. It's sweet and spicy!! Every other place is only sweet. Plus, they have eggs and veggie mixed in. It taste so good when cooked again for some reasons, and eaten with souju. A great midnight snack or for sobering. read more
