First time here, I got the Cob salad it was ok, I liked the blue cheese dressing and the Mac and cheese. They don't have soft drinks but I did like the cranberry lemonade drink, It's a little pricey it was $20 something for a drink, small salad and a small Mac and cheese.

Ordered takeout from CoreLife yesterday. OMG so good! Super easy to order ahead and pickup. I ordered the Korean BBQ pork bowl and the kids power bowl. The BBQ pork was amazing and had a little bit of a kick to it. The fried egg is an excellent touch! My daughter (5) loved the power bowl. Perfect kids portion including everything she likes (rice, corn, cucumbers, oranges and chicken). Everything was reasonably priced. I would definitely order from here many more times!!

Normally the busy intersection CoreLife is situated really discourages me from stopping because of the daunting traffic volume and traffic patterns. But now that I've made my one visit, I know I will be back.   The exterior facade and signage are all designed in good taste.  The interior feels clean and inviting, a bit of a museum cafe feel.  For whatever reason, somehow "Corel Life" got stuck in my head instead of "Core Life"...Either way works for me:) I can feel the "freshness" element by the display of raw ingredients in the back wall, as well as the sight of the staff grating ginger root directly onto the bowl.  The set up reminds me of poke bowls a la Freshido and Hawaii Poke, including the build-your-own option. But here they offer more than just bowls - there are soups and tacos as well.  And the ambience and healthfulness also seem a notch higher.  The selection of exotic drinks also stands out. On this visit this was what I ordered:    - Korean Pulled Pork Taco   - Steak Fajita Taco   - Spicy Thai Chicken Taco   - Southwest Grilled Chicken Bowl   - Beet Lemonade I must say I was very impressed. Each item was visually enticing, fun to eat, and each one set itself apart from others in terms of taste. In addition to being delicious, there's so much grains and fibers in the mix that I can honestly stuff myself without guilt.  I love the fact the tacos are thick, springy and toasted (almost like naan), and I love the purple rice and cilantro dressing in the Southwest Grilled Chicken Bowl.  The Beet Lemonade tasted like earthy plum juice and I am a fan.  Overall it was a successful initiation to this franchise and I'm sure I will be making future visits.

When CoreLife first opened, I LOVED this place. It may be the holiday rush or supply chain issues, but my experience today was bad enough to make me leave this review to warn others. My husband and I got two salads and a $3 cup of bone broth for me. Our total was around $26, with the tip it was a flat $30 charge. I picked up the order and came home to find two very sparse salad bowls. We ordered the steak bacon and Cobb salads. They were missing several ingredients including bacon (both), walnuts, bread, avocado and cucumbers. I called and a manager did refund about half of the purchase, which I appreciate. I just tried the bone broth and it has no flavor. It's nothing compared to what CoreLife used to be. It makes me deeply sad, but CoreLife is definitely off my list for the next several months.

The salad I had custom made! The Brussels on the side we're terrific!

Interesting assortment of salad fixings starting with bases of greens or rice or quinoa and you can get 5 toppings, some you don't see in other places, rice noodles, & spicy broccoli and plenty of other options for your taste I also opted for roasted Brussels sprouts as a side! They do offer combos and plates. Unusual drinks Herbal Teas and lemonades. The place is new & fresh & some what clean (tables &Counters needed some love) the staff are friendly! Not sure I want to give it a fourth Star till I try their soups or their plates and check out their clean up on a week day!

This place has been open for a month now, the environment is bright and clean, foods are fresh and they provide a vegan friendly option. There are broth, salad, race based bowl, you can either build your own or order the existing combos. Everything is fairly priced and there are tables for you to dine in. Just don't forget to clean up after yourself so everyone can share a clean environment. Overall it's a great spot to grab a quick lunch with healthier options instead of the typical fast foods, they are tasty as well!

Steak bacon and blue. Cranberry vin dressing, added egg, mandarins and crunchy tortillas.

Could do much better. The shake was watery. The flavor of the food was lacking. One note to say it best.

I stopped in for brunch this weekend with a friend after seeing their new menu and brunch specials…read moreon social media, and I'm so glad we did! We ordered the oxtails and grits along with a pitcher of pineapple mimosas. The grits were honestly some of the creamiest I've ever had! The oxtails were tender, very meaty, seasoned perfectly, and came with a delicious gravy. Everything was flavorful without being overly seasoned. And yes -- the mimosas were STRONG! I also ordered the strawberry stuffed French toast and bacon to take home, and it did not disappoint. The French toast was really good and, thankfully, not overly sweet. The service was another highlight. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we were taken care of without being overbearing. I also really appreciated the atmosphere. The music was playing, but at a comfortable volume where you could actually enjoy it and have a conversation -- not the "why did I come here?" level of loud that some brunch spots have. The location is also a plus. It's far enough away from the busiest part of 2nd Street that parking wasn't a hassle, and they have their own parking lot, which is a definite bonus in downtown/midtown Harrisburg. Overall, this was a really enjoyable brunch experience. **Good food, strong drinks, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere.** I'll definitely be back to try more from the new menu!

The Review: Men in the Kitchen…read more My reviews are different. I do not announce myself or tell anyone. I am here to do a review!! It was a rainy Sunday, and I was working up a hunger while driving Uber for content. I went to three different spots before I finally found the place I should've gone to first. The food and atmosphere at this restaurant are so good that I want to find another establishment just like it, but so far--at least on this day--nothing in the area can beat it. I don't know why I treat this restaurant like a good wife that a man might constantly cheat on but always returns to. I'm not saying that I actually cheat; I'm just using that for context! So, I found myself once again at Two Men in the Kitchen. Since it was Easter Sunday, they offered a buffet or a special limited menu. There was fish and chicken wings available, and I chose the wings. Since I don't eat meat often, I asked for their "House Sauce," and it is by far amazing. I paired the wings with the 3-cheese baked mac & cheese and sweet potatoes. I went for the sides first because I wanted to save the best for last--I already knew that house sauce was going to be incredible, especially on the chicken and greens eggrolls they have. The mac & cheese was great; it had a crunchy outside yet remained soft in the middle, and the cheese pull was amazing. The sweet potatoes were definitely homemade; I could tell because every slice was a different cut, which I appreciate because it proves they didn't come out of a can. Now for the best part: the chicken wings. They were cooked perfectly--neither overdone nor underdone, with no pink on the inside. Everything was pure. I did happen to taste a little bit of Old Bay on the wings, so I asked the chef if that was part of the secret seasoning. He said no, so maybe someone slipped some in by accident, but it didn't stop me from indulging. I also ordered one of their house special drinks--a Hennessy and rum cocktail. It was a very pretty drink, but unfortunately, I am not a fan of Hennessy. Personally, I think it tastes like house keys or licking a brass knob when you're a kid. On my scale, the drink was a 2 out of 5; I just don't think rum and cognac should mix, but that's just my opinion. The atmosphere was amazing and the bathrooms were clean. I will definitely visit this place again and again, although sometimes it is hard to tell if they are open because of the heavily tinted windows. For those who know the area, this is the old firehouse in Harrisburg. I was told that on the weekends, they clear some tables to create a dance floor, which is a nice touch. There is plenty of bar seating and booths, making it a kid-friendly environment. The only thing I don't like--which applies to every restaurant on 2nd Street--is that it's very hard to find parking. The Scale * Location & Parking: (3/5) * Staff & Engagement: (4/5) * Food Consistency: (4.7/5)

This place was fantastic, the kind of spot you're genuinely glad you stumbled into. The atmosphere had that perfect mix of cool and comfortable. I grabbed a beer, Stacy's Mom, and I'd order it again without thinking twice. My wife went for the Self‑Loathing Burger, which lived up to the hype. My daughter ordered the Mother‑Clucker (pictured), and after she gave me a bite, I immediately regretted not getting my own. I ended up with the Pittsburgher (also pictured), and it was outstanding, one of those sandwiches you keep thinking about afterward. Between the vibe and the food, it honestly felt like a little slice of heaven. Highly recommend stopping in for dinner.

The ambience didn't seem much like a speakeasy. It was more like a regular bar/restaurant. For lunch, I requested fish tacos and sweet potato fries. As an appetizer, we shared some nachos, which had a very tasty cheese sauce on them. A while later, the food was delivered. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My fish tacos each had a large piece of fish in them. The fish was seasoned and cooked perfectly, was flaky, and delicious. My sweet potato fries were a little overcooked, but still pretty good. Highly recommend that dish. My daughter's soup of the day (chicken & rice) missed the mark. But her club sandwich was the size of her head! If we're in Harrisburg, we'll visit again. Great meal!
