Ordered takeout from CoreLife yesterday. OMG so good! Super easy to order ahead and pickup. I ordered the Korean BBQ pork bowl and the kids power bowl. The BBQ pork was amazing and had a little bit of a kick to it. The fried egg is an excellent touch! My daughter (5) loved the power bowl. Normally the busy intersection CoreLife is situated really discourages me from stopping because of the daunting traffic volume and traffic patterns. But now that I've made my one visit, I know I will be back.   The exterior facade and signage are all designed in good taste.  The interior feels clean and inviting, a bit of a museum cafe feel.  For whatever reason, somehow "Corel Life" got stuck in my head instead of "Core Life"...Either way works for me:) I can feel the "freshness" element by the display of raw ingredients in the back wall, as well as the sight of the staff grating ginger root directly onto the bowl.  The set up reminds me of poke bowls a la Freshido and Hawaii Poke, including the build-your-own option. But here they offer more than just bowls - there are soups and tacos as well.  And the ambience and healthfulness also seem a notch higher.  The selection of exotic drinks also stands out. On this visit this was what I ordered:    - Korean Pulled Pork Taco   - Steak Fajita Taco   - Spicy Thai Chicken Taco   - Southwest Grilled Chicken Bowl   - Beet Lemonade I must say I was very impressed. Each item was visually enticing, fun to eat, and each one set itself apart from others in terms of taste. In addition to being delicious, there's so much grains and fibers in the mix that I can honestly stuff myself without guilt.  I love the fact the tacos are thick, springy and toasted (almost like naan), and I love the purple rice and cilantro dressing in the Southwest Grilled Chicken Bowl.  The Beet Lemonade tasted like earthy plum juice and I am a fan.  Overall it was a successful initiation to this franchise and I'm sure I will be making future visits. read more

When CoreLife first opened, I LOVED this place. It may be the holiday rush or supply chain issues, but my experience today was bad enough to make me leave this review to warn others. My husband and I got two salads and a $3 cup of bone broth for me. Our total was around $26, with the tip it was a flat $30 charge. I picked up the order and came home to find two very sparse salad bowls. We ordered the steak bacon and Cobb salads. They were missing several ingredients including bacon (both), walnuts, bread, avocado and cucumbers. I called and a manager did refund about half of the purchase, which I appreciate. I just tried the bone broth and it has no flavor. It's nothing compared to what CoreLife used to be. It makes me deeply sad, but CoreLife is definitely off my list for the next several months. read more

A fast-casual counter service spot with fresh, healthy options, hooray! My family and I stopped here on a lengthy road trip when we were all needing some veggies. Although my kids (3, 6 & 9) mostly focused on the gf max and cheese, my husband and I enjoyed a big salad bowl and rice bowl. They really hit the spot. There are broth, salad, race based bowl, you can either build your own or order the existing combos. Everything is fairly priced and there are tables for you to dine in. Just don't forget to clean up after yourself so everyone can share a clean environment. This place is not what it used to be. Used to be full of flavor and worth the price, but not anymore. Chicken bowls were flavorless. They were out of sweet potatoes so the only side option was Mac and cheese. They were out of spoons? Thankfully an employee dug up a few utensil packs from catering. I like the menu concept, although the small size salad bowl was not filled completely, looked like someone already had a few bites, and the lettuce was soggy as well. Dining-in is a less than desirable experience. The place is filthy! Floors, tables, chairs, everything was dirty. The cooler for bottled drinks was not functional. They offered a cup of ice instead. I wanted a knife....the knife container was empty, when I inquired, I was told they were out of stock (plastic). After I paid for two meals, the individual food items were slid over to me from across the counter and I was expected to carry two cups with ice, two water bottles, two salad bowls and a side dish all without a tray. Trays must have been an option at one time because a utility area to dispose of waste had a sign with an arrow to "place trays here". However, there were none stacked. A young female employee was on their phone constantly, instead of working. In addition, when I visited the restroom I used the very last of the t-paper which was scant. The back-up roll was already empty. Then upon trying to wash my hands found there was no soap! When I left the place, I was thinking to myself, I hope I don't contract some illness from eating there! Stopped in this past weekend and was pleasantly surprised to see a bit of a crowd here on a Sunday. Didn't mind as it gave my sister and I a chance to take a look at the menu. They have mainly salads and grain bowls but also offer broth bowls as well. Sister eats mostly vegetarian so we were happy to see you can substitute or customize the options to suit your taste. The menu is kinda tricky to navigate if you're not sure what you'd like, and it changes seasonally based on whats available. I recommend checking it out on the website first then hit up the store. Again everything is customizable and they ask what you want on it as they go (kinda like chipotle or salad works). Had a steak, bacon and blue cheese salad. Tons of greens but kinda skimped on the toppings. I could have used 2 scoops of each, not just the one small almost cookie dough sized scoop they used. Sister got the shitakke broth bowl but was informed they were out of mushrooms since it was a seasonal dish (but was still listed as an available dish on the paper menu we picked up.) She substituted double tofu instead. Vegetable base soup was good but needed salt or seasoning added to it. Tasted like a basic vegetable soup. Didn't see any soda options available, mostly their custom lemonades or teas. Not an issue since I mostly drink water but if you like soft drinks with your meal you're better off bringing one. Price wise was like Panera ($10-$15 per person if you got a salad and drink). Planning on stopping in sometime again but probably wont be an everyday stop for me. Menu is confusing and the topping portions are too small for what you pay for. Might stick to making my own bowls at home. read more

Placed an online order for pickup for a big office group. The order was nearly ready when we reached there. Short 5 minutes wait and we got our order. It smelled great in the car, so we were looking forward to trying the food. Several orders were incorrect. Some had missing ingredients, some got things which they had not ordered. Food was fresh and tasted good, but there were lot of grumbles around the table about incorrect order. It's not cheap food, so minimum expectation is that you'll get what you'll order! I'm going to blame it on pains of a new location opening. Hope they improve this with time. On top of it, the credit card was charged incorrectly. One order was cancelled, but was charged for. The manager did refund it as soon as I brought it to her attention. Parking is very tight. Wish they had opened in some other location in this area, where there was plenty of parking. read more

A good variety of menu items, all photos of the items on the overhead menu board look delicious, with a nice combination of ingredients. I ordered the Korean wrap. This is a counter order restaurant, so after I ordered my meal, I was given my cup for a drink and was told my food would take a little longer. I stood around waiting as others ordered and were served before me. I sat down and started on my drink. 15 minutes later still no food. After inquiring about my wrap, they found it sitting on the counter behind something. I guess they were not planning to tell me it was ready and who knows how long it was sitting there. What was served to me looked nothing like the pretty photo however. In fact the outer wrap was very soggy and tasted like a wet wash cloth, just mush. The inner filling was rather good however so I didn't complain and send it back. I was very hungry and just satisfied with that. I very much enjoyed the different fountain drinks however, a mix of different cold teas, juices, lemonades. In addition, some tables were not being tended to as they were not very clean. I had to Hope around looking for a clean one. Surprised by this as it looked like they had a good size staff and not too busy with customers. Walking in around noon on a Saturday found the place very clean with customers trickling in and out. It kind of reminded me of a healthier Chipotle...you place your order and then add fresh ingredients that are arranged behind the glass in front of you. And they have sooo many fresh ingredients! I was really impressed. I ordered the spicy Thai chicken taco and Ranch Steak Warm Rice Bowl. This had roasted veggies, purple rice, arugula, pickled jalapeños, pickled red onions and beef bone broth and came with a ranch dressing. Both were pretty tasty. They had an interesting assortment of drinks. I tried the beet lemonade and that was a hard pass for me. I went with a hibiscus tea, which was really good and then I went for the fig and vanilla drink, which tased similiar to apple cider. This is definitely a great place to visit when looking for a fast food healthy alternative. There is seating outside and inside. Curbside pick-up is also offered. read more

I would love to give corelife a five star review, however, the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. While ordering exactly what I wanted, because I am the customer, duh, the girl behind the counter said rudely, "that's like over two serving sizes" instead of simply stating that after so many toppings I would be charged a certain amount per topping. How dare you topping shame me! I want what I want and I have the money to pay for it! Sadly, they won't be getting any more of my money. It's a shame because the food is good. BUT customer service, or lack of, will determine your business success... that's why the salad works in the mall is closed for good. You are only as good as your worst employee! Upon approach to the counter to order, I immediately noticed the sourpuss faces on ALL of the people working behind the counter. I mean... They.... Were... Miserable! It's so nice to have something different for lunch in our area. And it's also great to know that if you are looking for something delicious AND healthy you can come here and get it fast. There IS an app and if you download it you can earn credits towards free food which is a perk I enjoy. The people here are so friendly (I legit got a hug the other day for no reason) and that always makes me happy. Also they have some outside seating for beautiful Camphill days. As for the food I think its tasty. I usually get bowls because you can pack them in with some good stuff and their sides are all really good (Never tried the soups though but their mac and cheese is wonderful)! The portions are small if you get a small bowl and without the promotion or credits it can seem pretty pricey but if you build your bowl with the right ingredients it will be plenty. The craft drinks they have are fun but I haven't found one I loved yet. The Beet lemonade is very beet-y. And I like beets, but not sure how I feel about drinking them. Just a mental thing for me. The one lemonade that has cayenne in it is really yummy but the heat may not be good for drinking the whole thing. And the ginger lemonade is strong of ginger and would be really good if it weren't so sour. The one thing I'd stay away from (and maybe I had it on an off day) is their iced coffee. I was SO excited for this and it was so bad. And the rest of the day I was burping a grass and dirt flavor. Blech! Or should I say, Belch?
