Very nice place, unique Korean food here that is tasty. However this place is very average. I have no problem dropping a pretty penny on good food. But this place is 5 dollar quality, with 15 dollar price. Also the cashier was nice, but was not helpful in explaining the plates. And don't waste your time on the boba drinks. Too powdery. One of my favorite things about Korean was the food and Korean Chili brings a little bit to the Central Valley. The kimchi and banchans remind me of the restaurants that I frequented in Seoul and the spicy rice cakes are straight off the street carts. On a cold day I recommend the soft tofu stew or if you have a big family get the hot pot. End the meal with boba tea and you're all set! read more

I absolutely love this place! I moved out of town a few years ago but when I visit I always make sure to stop here at least once. I understand the prices can seem a bit steep but in my opinion the portion sizes are great! My order of jap chae could probably have fed 2-3 people. The food is always flavorful and if you are unsure about something the staff is really knowledgeable and friendly. The chef even came out to greet us, ask us how we liked the food, and explained a bit about each dish My favorites are the Kimchi Jjigae (salty/savory soup) and the Jap Chae (stir fried sweet potato noodles). When we got in the guy at the front desk, who seems as the manager, just waved us out saying there's no table. We pointed out an empty table right next to us and they apologized and started serving. The waitress is new so a lot of things were disordered. But I'd appreciate her attitude. The worst thing came when I received my ox bone soup I found no meat in it. Had beef and leak soup and beef bulgogi with ginseng power shake; beef and meal was amazing, don't be afraid of a 3 in heat, not too spicy at all. Bulgogi was very good. Shake was very very nice light compliment to meal because additives are powdered. Not to heavy to have with dinner. Home made pickles, relish etc, took the meal over the top. OMG!!! This is hands down the best Korean restaurant I have ate at. I love it, the food the service the boba drinks yummm... It was my husbands and I first time trying it out. I heard great things about this place so we gave it a try. Our first time was golden The man seated us took our order took personal care of each of his customers. The waitress lady was oh so sweet and super nice such a loving soul. We ordered the spicy seafood soup and the spicy rice cakes it's a must try everything was made there. Yes great food takes a bit longer especially when it's fresh we were not disappointed at all. We got there a little late almost 1 hr to closing time and our food was taking a while and usually at other restaurants they try to rush you so they can go home, not this place. The man told us yes the restaurant is now closed but you may take your time and enjoy the food no rush. I thought that was nice of him. He also made us a fresh batch of boba which was super delicious. Spicy pork was good. I did not like the bulgogi it tasted really beef-bloody. Gross. Maybe it sat in the package too long and self marinated. Kimchi was ok. I am a huge fan of korean flavors and ingredients and have experience cooking this style of cuisine. None the less i will give them another try to see how their other dishes are. read more

First time at Korean Chili. I've had Korean a few other times in LA and Fresno. I would say this compares. My boyfriend had the bimbambop and the rice wasn't warm enough for him. I had the spicy pork plate it was very good the flavor was awesome. The price was high for it being a fast food style place. The staff was welcoming and willing to share tips of how to best eat the plates. The restaurant is a little small but good for the time being. I wish the owners the best success. read more

We weren't sure what to get, so we ordered a variety of things and ate family style between 3 of us. We enjoyed everything we had. It was also clean and bright, and the staff were friendly. Cons: The prices were a bit high for the portion sizes we received. Also, of the 2 ladies working there at the time, one didn't speak any English and the other spoke very limited English, so communication was difficult. We made it work though! I'm from L.A. Where I'm used to pretty close to authentic if not, real authentic Korean BBQ. I searched on Yelp for something to eat close to my hotel and this place looked pretty good so I decided to try it. To my surprise this is more of a fast food type of restaurant. I ordered the Bulgogi and a side of fried dumplings for me and my daughter seeing that you can't ever really go wrong with Bulgogi. I was served three sides of different Banchan which was a type of beef (really good), pickled radishes, and picked ginger and cucumber. All pretty good but I was really missing the kimchi. My order came out and the food was cold which was odd because they serve it on a stone platter. It came with one egg roll cut in half. The egg roll and dipping sauce was good but honestly the beef that came with the Banchan was better than the Bulgogi. It did it taste fresh.
