KOS is a great spot to grab brunch right in Kensington market. I stopped in for lunch this weekend and was happy we were able to get a seat on the patio! It was quite busy but our server came over to drop off menus and returned a bit later with our waters. There were lots of options on the menu to choose from. I didn't see any iced coffee on the menu so I opted for a coke. I was deciding between a few breakfast options and settled on the California eggs and my partner ordered the eggs with chorizo. Mine was more of a breakfast quesadilla and his was like a scramble. We both weren't expecting them to look like they did but we still really enjoyed our meals! I appreciate that they have hot sauce on the table!

Came here for Mother's Day brunch. New patio with picnic tables. Food is good and affordable price. Friendly staff. Parking on the street

There's so many places in Kensington Market that I was surprised that I've only found out about Kos recently. Kos is a bit more tucked away from the main Kensington Market intersections so it's a bit easy to miss. Philly Steak Sandwich: The portions of the steak was a lot. It may not seem like it in the photo but the slices of steak was really spilling out a lot because of how much steak there was. The bread, and the rest of the toppings were alright however, I felt like it was missing some sort of kick besides the typical sandwich as it seemed a bit too dry. I think some sort of sauce to add a more flavourful kick would elevate the quality of the sandwich. Overall, I wouldn't mind revisiting again to give a try on their other dishes. It seems to be quite spacious especially the patios. Definitely a suitable spot for brunches and for when the weather gets warmer in the summer.

KOS relocated some years back from their College & Bathurst location to an attractive house in Kensington Market on Bellevue & Nassau. It continues to offer its straightforward diner menu of quality food at reasonable prices (see pictures), good & friendly service, in spacious interiors with lots of comfortable table spaces. Fair Dinkum!

Another great experience today. I'm surprised they are open due to the crazy snow weather. But I'm glad they did, because my tummy needed some goood delicious food. The one thing tiny tinsey little thing I didn't like was the hash brown today (other days have been way better). It looked more like a mashed potatoes rather than "hash brown potatoes". I'll let my pics speak for itself. Other than that, I had a great time as always. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, server is nice and friendly, and the washroom was decent and clean.

Visited this place within the Kensington Market with my coworkers. Service was quick and responsive, and prices were super good for the value and quality you get!! I would be visiting again soon! Thanks KOS !

Got my number to wait for and within 5 minutes I was on my way. Good service. However my first thing I tried after I got back to my hotel I ate the wings. Holy sodium. Almost like eating straight salt. The wings were way too salty even before dipping them in the Frank's wing sauce. Almost inedible salty for me. Minus two stars for that. The Asian Fusion bowl wasn't as salty, but still pretty strong bit of sodium. The veggies were tasty, my protein choice which was tempeh which was cooked and seasoned well. Overall not bad, but maybe let natural flavors come out in the food instead of turning towards tons of salt.

I feel that the price point is actually very reasonable given the portions and quality of ingredients. A disclaimer that I've only tried their noodle dishes and not the sushi (I do like my seafood haha), but these are fantastic - rich in flavour without being overwhelmed with salt and sugar (the typical fallbacks for vegan food). Highly recommend the truffle fried rice and the Singapore noodles! The fact that the food seems to be relatively healthy (at least psychologically...) is of course a plus as well. The interior is fairly upscale, the dim lighting and elegant decor contributing to a muted but lovely ambiance. I do love a place that allows you to have a conversation at normal volumes! They advertise "Wheatless and Meatless" so as well a gluten free baked goods they offer many alternatives to popular brunch staples like bacon and eggs. I had the Breakfast Bowl, a beautiful medley of guacamole, pico de gallo, sweet potato, roasted mushroom, organic kale, black beans and tofu eggs. It was delicious. Have to admit, not exactly sunny side up eggs over a couple of slices of bacon, but it did taste great and I actually felt good afterwards. My daughter had the avocado toast which was served on a seed and oat toast. Spectacular dish, really tasty and gorgeous! We made a reservation (highly recommended) which they were able to pull up since we got there 30 minutes early and starving. We started off with their delicious Bang Bang Broccoli and Kimchi Chick'n Baus, both of which I'd easily come back for more if this was a buffet line. The bang bang sauce was absolutely sensational and we dipped our tasty baos in it afterwards. For our mains, we divided up their Volcano Roll, Kelp Caesar Salad, and a Hawaiian Pizza. The roll was alright (I've had better at vegan sushi restaurants) but the salad and pizza were both extraordinary. In particular, the salad sent me and was a complete flavor and texture bomb.
