A brief personal health history: I hate exercise. I was always on the lean side, but have never been in shape. I love eating carbs all day. I'm a homebody, and I enjoy my sedentary lifestyle. I have scoliosis and bad knees. I had bilateral frozen shoulders for more than a year. I had a major surgery last year which was for a defect I was born with and not necessarily due to my unhealthy lifestyle. I knew I had to start exercising since I'm getting older too. Also, I no longer wanted to be hypocrite as I work in healthcare. A coworker/friend suggested trying yoga. We googled/yelped yoga studios near our cities, and Kosha was our final choice. We like the location, ambience, cleanliness, and instructors. All instructors are kind-hearted and passionate in what they do. Each are very unique and have different tastes in workout music too. It's been a few months since we started taking the beginner class which is usually small. I've been trying to attend at least two to three classes per week or as my work schedule allows. I try to squeeze in a random YouTube yoga session when I cannot make it to the studio, but it doesn't feel the same as attending a real class. Anyway, I feel spiritually and physically better. I am trying to eat healthier but not always. :) read more

I took a beginner (calm) class today and it was such a great class. I even made a friend. (HEY GIRL if you're seeing this (: ) The studio is clean and spacious. The front is cutely decorated and I love the wallpaper. It's really easy to sign up online and there's descriptions of the classes so you can find exactly what you're looking for. Zarfeen was our yoga instructor today and she was awesome! I will say that this is a more challenging beginner class than others I've taken, but don't let that intimidate you. (: It was a great workout! It was an awesome experience and a nice way to start off my Friday! Definitely recommend taking a class at this studio. read more

I went to this boutique yoga studio for 7 months while I was living in Fullerton and I had a great experience. Nozomi is an amazing yoga instructor and has a true heart for yoga! The class sizes were small and intimate which was really nice. I even got some private sessions randomly a few times! The studio owner Zarfeen is very accommodating and sweet. I have been so hooked, and I get sad whenever I can't go due to family obligations. All the instructors are amazing, and Zarfeen is an amazing soul, I love taking her classes. I've been attending classes here for a few months now and I find that I look forward to them more and more. Class sizes are usually no more than 10 people so there's room to spread out and move around. Instructors are all very passionate and informative. I only attend night classes and love Eleni and Zarfeen. They actually take the time to explain to the class what moves are for and how to improve on them. Flows are definitely a work out and I can feel myself getting stronger, especially when I'm consistent with my attendance. I definitely think this studio is special and I think they offer something different from other studios in the area in the sense that the classes are more dynamic and engaging. I love this studio. WOuld definitely keep coming back. It's nearby my dad's nursing home which is very convenient. I loved the projector images as it made for a very serene class. The teachers were knowledgable. good flow with breath. Por fin! A quaint studio with a respectable amount of yogis per class. I've been known to be a yoga gypsy over the years and thought I found my studio until I caved and purchased Kosha's $59 unlimited first new student offer. My first class was the 6:30pm Bliss class and it was just that. My fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed the intimate setting and I can't stress enough about the size of the class. We were a strong class of 9 that evening and there was ample room! Very clean throughout, an an adorable wall of attire to remind you of the warrior within. They do have blocks for specific classes, and weights for the spunky sculpt class. I haven't taken that class yet but Bliss and Calm have been my rotation so far. The staff remembered our names after the first class and that was warm and welcoming. Definitely give this studio a shot if you are in the Fullerton location! Plenty of street parking and retail/visitor parking in the apartment complex they are connected to. Cheers! read more

I would give them no stars if I could. They list private lessons on their website. I was arranging a trip for my birthday in Newport Beach and wanted to hire someone to do a private yoga lesson for 10 of my friends. Zarfeen contacted me and said she'd do it. We texted back and forth almost a month in advance--and she agreed on the type of yoga, the fee, and the time. The day before, I texted to make sure we were all set to go. Well, they told me she forgot and was no longer available--and no one at the studio was available. It's good to be relaxed and all, but not so great if you are actually running a business. I was hosting 10 people, and could have planned something else during that time. Namaste, indeed. read more

This is a very welcoming yoga studio, with all levels and ability types encouraged to practice yoga and benefit from all of its restorative powers. I have taken classes with four different instructors and they have all been helpful, positive, encouraging and motivating. The space is beautiful and calming. I signed up for a monthly membership and the deal right now is excellent for unlimited yoga; you won't find a cheaper monthly price at another yoga studio. I am going 4-5 times a week. Having to give a few less stars here, although the studio is nice and the instructors were cool, I was not made aware that I was put on an autopay plan by anyone at time of purchase, I was also promised discounted months ahead so not sure why they charged full price, I attended the first month I purchased and found I could not make class times. They charged my card a second time the second month and I attempted 3 times via email to reach out to them to cancel because there is no way to turn off autopay on their website, I then finally called to ask for a refund and to cancel autopay, their excuse for not refunding me was that they get charged fees for refunds by their credit card processor, I am a business owner also and this is completely false and a poor excuse. Unfortunately I have to dispute the charge and definitely won't be returning to this studio again. Very poor customer service and I basically had $140 stolen from me this month as i Did not even use their service. They claimed that they put all over their website that you are on auto pay however I saw nothing at time of sign up and was not informed in person when I initially paid that there was autopay. read more

I saw this yoga studio on Yelp and called for more information. Zarfeen, the owner, was very helpful, informative and answered any questions I had. They had a two week unlimited yoga classes promotion going on which caught my attention and I came in on Saturday to give it a try. I signed up and was ambitious taking two classes back to back. Spunk which had light weightlifting and cardio incorporated into the yoga class and then a Calm yoga class which was a beginner's level class. I throughly enjoyed both and had such an amazing work out! I attended a Bliss class tonight which has a projection playing on the back wall with serene video during the class which was quite a neat experience while practicing yoga. I am already looking forward to my next class at Kosha 5 and am going to get the membership once my 2 week trial period is up. Zarfeen and all the instructors have been so welcoming and make you feel comfortable. The studio is very clean and has an upscale feel. The instructor was very friendly and welcoming. This being my first yoga experience, I felt like I wasn't ready to join the class although it was the beginner's level. But the calming music, a reassuring demeanor from the staff, and the peaceful ambiance of the studio helped me complete my very first yoga class of my life in a pleasantly memorable way. Also, I liked how the parking wasn't a hassle at all. I don't live in the area, but I'm glad that I did my research and found this place. I would love to return for the upcoming classes. If you are new to yoga like me and afraid to take your step, this is a great place to start. There are mirrors at the front of the studio, so it's easy for you to follow directions. It was an amazing 10/10 experience coming here! Zarfeen guided us through the movements and poses with such fluidity. I took the bliss class and as soon as you step into the room, the whole atmosphere was so peaceful. With the lighting, candles and the projector of cherry blossoms in the back. As we ended in shavasana, zarfeen even fanned each of us with some calming essential oil. Would definitely recommend! read more
