Found this place through the internet trying to find good Shawarma. Apparently it's nearly impossible to find a good lamb/beef authentic shawarma in a pita in Florida. This places shawarma is turkey? So I went for the schnitzel In a baguette. Sandwich was very good and service was good as well. My only negative is the prices. I paid $20.00 with tip for a schnitzel and fries! That's pretty expensive even for Kosher. I'm from Los Angeles and I've never paid that much for schnitzel. I probably won't return only because of their prices. read more

We are very disappointed to share that Kosher Grill Orlando left us stranded just hours before Shabbat. We ordered Shabbat meals in advance and were shocked to get a message from them half an hour before the pick up time that they have cancelled our order. Every dish was delicious and the service is outstanding. Cauliflower Tempura was served over greens with a delicious dipping sauce. Asian Stir Fry was prepared over rice and was delicious and filling. Came back the next day and started with a hearty vegetable Lentil soup full of fresh vegetables and a Falafel Sabich Wrap that takes me back to Tel Aviv. Today there is a tasty Shakshuka. My family came *out of our way* to this restaurant because we were looking for authentic Israeli food and that is what we got...eventually...and you can be certain we paid for it! I will say, THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS! My children don't usually like flavorful cuisine but my younger two raved about the eggplant on their burgers and everyone cleaned their plates. My shawarma was good but not nearly as good as the cheese steak the nice waitress suggested to my husband; melt in your mouth and so flavorful! The disappointment here is with the service and the undisclosed 18% gratuity required. We came as a family and I was basically charged a hidden fee for having more than one child. Because of the poor service and automatic "surprise" 18% gratuity we won't be returning. The food was good, but really not worth it for us. I ordered baby chicken with rise - the chicken had gas grill taste and had a weird color and rise was full of onion hoewer I can't eat onion. We came here while visiting Disney world and were pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was. It's a small restaurant so we didnt expect much but we ate there 2 nights in a row and each time it was delicious. We had the shawarma humus, the burgers, the shawarma in a pita and all those dishes were delicious. It was really big portions so we didn't try any of the desserts. I went in because of the great reviews, I left because of the shitty service. I sat at their dine-in bar for almost 10 minutes and was never greeted. A young man made drinks no more than four feet in front of me and never once looked at me. One waitress looked at me, but never said a word. It might be great if you're Jewish, don't waste your time if you're not. If you're looking for a big bowl of discrimination, this is your place. If your lifelong quest is in search of the perfect Falafel this side of the ocean, then you have found your hidden treasure! Seriously, I was taken here by a friend who relocated to the area. He has been to Israel, and agrees that Kosher Grill makes the most authentic food that he's tasted since returning. I, myself, had never really had a good falafel, and I may never again have one so perfect. Also, they are certified Kosher (hence the name) and have the certificate on display as proof. The shawarma pita I ordered last night was very delightful. The taste was not overwhelming at all with the different things it was stuffed with like other places. The packaging of the gyro was very nice. I did not spill one drop of it and enjoyed it very much. The shawarma meet was seasoned very nicely as well. Been here for work lunch a few times. It is in a strip mall on the side of I-drive. They are a very authentic Greek place staffed and owned by folks from the homeland. It is a sit down, but nothing fancy, I come for lunch with co-workers every so often. The real prize here is the hummus. They have 5-6 different kinds of hummus that can be ordered as a an appetizer that is large enough for everyone to share. My favorite is the mushroom hummus, usually we get it to share; it's the hummus around the edge of the platter with a pile of mushrooms in the center that you mix in at your discretion. Comes with pita obv. They also have the typically Greek fare in the form of sandwich, pita or plate. The items aren't always available tho, we have had to switch orders a few times because they were out of something. Last visit, I got the falafel pita, which was good; not the best I have had (see review of maoz); kind of dry but very filling. Coworker had the Pastrami sandwich - was turkey pastrami , and was just average - he said it was a few thin slices of turkey and tasted like your average turkey sandwich. On the menu it says pastrami sandwich, but it really isn't. The staff is friendly and explain all the dishes well, but you get the feeling the experience would more favorable or comfortable if you spoke the language. Overall it is a good spot for lunch, but is not my go to for a falafel sandwich. The hummus is certainly worth the return trip though! read more

Never having tried kosher food, we were very open and ready to experiment. We all ended up trying the Kabob sandwiches and loaded them up with every topping offered. We are definitely hooked and will seek this place out whenever we are in Orlando. The food is fresh, plentiful, and full of flavor. Happened upon this place with my family, and we loved it! While it wasn't super busy, we were greeted and served warmly and quickly nonetheless, and the waitress was very helpful and friendly (and patient). We're leaving town soon but might even try to make it back once before we go. The food was spectacular, and we got a variety of dishes. Food was amazing, I had the hummus and it was absolutely delicious, best one I've ever had it came with pita, the pita you could see it was fresh, probably made in house. Also had 2 chicken pitas to share with my husband, they were also absolutely amazing, we always go eat at a Israeli restaurant and always get the chicken pita, but this one was over the top, the chicken was juicy, the other stuff they put on it was fresh, very well seasoned, and very good taste.
