This is not your grandmothers supermarket! That is unless she came from Europe, then yes, yes it…read moreis. If you are not familiar with the brand, this is not like any supermarket you have ever gone to. Similar concept, but they do things very differently than what you might be used to. *******Critical things to know: You need a quarter for the shopping cart, then when you return it, you get it back! BYOB, bring your own bag, or take a cardboard box that is in the aisle. You can buy a bag or freezer bag for a fee. Most products are self labeled / generic. So if you are looking for Campbells soup, or Doritos etc., this is not your store. This was my local Aldi until one opened up closer to home. Staff is decently friendly. Place is clean enough. As a German, I am used to this store and its offerings. KISS Keep things simple S*****. Germans are masters at efficiency. For a store that size, they hire about 1/3 the staff that other markets would hire and pass that savings on to you. Think of it as a mini big box warehouse store. Everything remains mostly in the shipping box, instead of displayed beautifully on shelves. Employees "stock" shelves in 1/20th the time lol! I love coming here for the Christmas season!!!!!! So many German and other European specialties that are imported. From Lebkuchen to Stollen, all I can say is Lecker! They usually have 1 or 2 checkout counters open, and they could have a 3rd, but the line moves fast enough for the most part. I do also notice, that many items are hit and miss. If you want something, come early and get it otherwise it might not be there in the afternoon. All in all a wonderful store, and as long as you don't mind brand names, this is your store.

Another trip for 1/2 and 1/2 as well as whole milk......and another disappointing experience…read more Within a couple of days both went in the trash. Either these products aren't kept in cold enough fridge or they're spending too much time on s loading dock somewhere unrefrigerated. Never again, I'm done! Pay a little more at ShopRite and get milk that lasts in your fridge past the sell by date.

The store carries a huge variety of Polish style meats such as kielbasa, kabanosy, kiszka, polędwica, etc. Some of the meats are from other Polish butchers but many are prepared onsite by their butcher. There are also candies, chocolates, pickles, vegetables, fruit preserves, soups, seasonings, cheeses, butters, etc that have been imported from Poland. Everything we bought was delicious. The prices are not low but lower than we found in other Polish delis. Also, their staff is wonderful. They were friendly, helpful and we were given samples if we were not sure of our selection. When we told them that we were bringing our purchases cross country, they vacuumed sealed the meats to make it easier for transport.

What a gem. Hidden in Wallington, Adams is a corner deli stocked with Polish specialties and…read moregoodies. Whenever I mentioned Adams around this area people say they have the best perogis. I have to say, they're very good. Talk about variety too, cheese, meat, ruskie, sauerkraut. They've got it all. I went with two bags of ruskie, which is potato and cheese. Delicious, the dough is perfectly thick and chewy. Each bag is around 7 dollars each, which is a steal for the real homemade deal. I also grabbed a slab of patè, one link of long kielbasa and some great mustard. The mustard had horseradish and honey which is a flavor bomb. So good with the kielbasa but also great on a regular turkey sandwich. The crew working here is efficient and they speak English so it's nice and easy to communicate unlike some of the other Polish delis in the area. I mean, I make do hahaha but it's always easier when they understand me. Give this place a shot for any Polish specialties or just some great perogis!
