For a store that size, they hire about 1/3 the staff that other markets would hire and pass that savings on to you. Think of it as a mini big box warehouse store. Everything remains mostly in the shipping box, instead of displayed beautifully on shelves. Employees "stock" shelves in 1/20th the time lol! I love coming here for the Christmas season!!!!!! So many German and other European specialties that are imported. From Lebkuchen to Stollen, all I can say is Lecker! They usually have 1 or 2 checkout counters open, and they could have a 3rd, but the line moves fast enough for the most part. I do also notice, that many items are hit and miss. There are also candies, chocolates, pickles, vegetables, fruit preserves, soups, seasonings, cheeses, butters, etc that have been imported from Poland. Everything we bought was delicious. The prices are not low but lower than we found in other Polish delis. Also, their staff is wonderful. They were friendly, helpful and we were given samples if we were not sure of our selection. When we told them that we were bringing our purchases cross country, they vacuumed sealed the meats to make it easier for transport.
