Vegetable display

This morning: Vegetable display with box of yellow squash, a box of green zucchini and a box of eggplant with a $.99/pound sign in front - I took 2 green zucchini and 2 yellow squash. At checkout, I was charged $1.29/pound for yellow squash. When I questioned this, was told only green squash and eggplant was $.99/pound. The sign in front of the 3 boxed items is very- purposely misleading!! It reads Green squash and eggplant $.99/pound, yet the yellow squash is front and center in this display. When I complained to the lady monitoring the self checkout- she did nothing. When I complained to the produce guy, he said I will tell my manager - I stressed it was misleading to both employees- both of whom couldn't have cared less. Very poor customer service and but excellent deception!!!!!

This was the cupcake cake for my fiance's birthday cigar themed party. It was amazing and delicious. The baker at foodtown did a great job!

I have had 2 cupcakes from here. One was for my shower, it was set up as a wedding dress. And another I ordered for my fiance's 40th birthday party cigar themed cake. Both tasted amazing! And the design was great too. Once I saw what they did to my shower cake I had to go back and order another one!

The worms I found in my filet of sole from Cedar Grove Foodtown.

I have been going to this Foodtown since i moved to Cedar Grove in 2011 and have loved it; I get everything there but I never got fish before. This past Sunday I got a pound of filet of sole and when we cooked it and sat down to eat it the next day, we discovered it was filled with small dead worms. I called the store and I was told to bring the fish and worms in and all I would get back is the money I spent on it. I truly believe we should have gotten more based on the traumatic experience and pure inconvenience. Will never get fish there again.

Misleading prices. Prices on the cases do not match what you are charged. Stay away if you don't want to be ripped off.

Much more expensive than Shoprite with limited choice of product and size. Many employees are surly and unhelpful.

It's very convenient to have right down the street, no need to pop onto a highway. Some of the reviews say the prices are higher, and that may be true. I haven't taken this into consideration when shopping, because it's very convenient so I'm willing to pay more. They are open until 8PM on most days, which is great and unusual for a place like this as well. Grateful to have this place in town!

You may not ever…read morecome across this review because you are busy searching restaurants in NYC for your next first date...BUT, you will be missing out. Lucky Farmers Market is a non-descript bodega perched in a four deep mini-mall on Bloomfield Ave. in Verona (co-occupied by Subway and double Krauszers). Sounds awesome, right? Actually, it is. Inside is where you actually get lucky.* Fresh fruit and vegetables in droves for way less than your not-so-supermarket. From gargantuan Asian pears to three kinds of cucumbers to berries of all kinds, Lucky will not let you down on the fruit and vegetable end. This is not a full market so don't get all, "That dude said this place had everything," because they don't have everything. They just have good produce, a smattering of market items (good, healthy options) and THIS IS WHERE YOU MUST PAY ATTENTION - a full-time sushi chef that churns out the best sushi around, restaurant or not. Yes, a small bodega will give you excellent sushi in a plastic container and you won't have to overpay for it. If you take anything from this, just get the Tuna/Salmon sandwich sushi and thank me later. Lucky is my go-to spot for the items I rely on - fruit, vegetables and sushi. I do the bulk of my shopping at a regular, large and fat market, but I get all my fruit and vegetables here and I get dinner here 2x a week, every week. Everyone who runs this place and works here is super friendly and a pleasure to see every day. In a pinch, you can get flowers here which actually last a while too. What else is there to say? If you don't ever have a reason to go to Lucky Farmers Market, no one will care (not even your Mom), but if you do have a chance to swing by with fruits, vegetables, sushi or something interesting in mind you just might have found your spot. ____________________ *Well, you might not get lucky if you are thinking something other than groceries or sushi, but I get Lucky almost every day.

Solid store - rarely shop here but want to call out a few things; gets busy really quickly inside,…read moreparking lot although large can get congested easily. Store is small but good for staples, Amazon return is right at the entrance and the staff has always been kind and try to get you in and out AND last but not least, they happen to has a great baked goods / bakery section! Grabbed a cake this past weekend and it was so good! We tried the brown butter caramel cookie crunch - in true whole foods fashion the small was $28 but it tasted very fresh! Would recommend.

This was my first time doing grocery pick-up here and it was overall a great experience…read more I placed the order on the Amazon app for the 12-1p window and my order was ready well before that. They of course kept what needed to be refrigerated refrigerated but it was nice to know that there wouldn't be any delays. The pickup area for the actual groceries vs the Amazon pickups wasn't obvious but an employee immediately asked if I needed help (bc I clearly looked a little bewildered lol) and when I told him I was there for grocery pickup he asked my name and as luck would have it he was the man I needed to see. My groceries were nicely packed in reusable Amazon bags and all of my requested items and / or replacements were in stock and accurate. Parking at this location can be tricky bc it's generally a very busy lot and the delivery tractor trailers also use a portion of the lot which makes for a little hectic-ness. Lastly, it's a small Whole Foods so be prepared for that ... but they do the best they can.
