Every course of the meal was delicious and exquisitely presented. My dad had a perfect 90th birthday celebration and we are very thankful to Chef Koji and Cecilia.

Review on our Private Chef experience I contacted Chef Koji via their website and booked him for a small dinner party of 6 adults celebrating a great friend's 50th birthday. Not only did he accommodate us despite the short notice (about 1.5 weeks) he even secured fresh Sanma from Japan and upgraded our sashimi course. On top of that, one of our guests was vegan, the chef went above and beyond again and created a menu just for her! I didn't expect him to be able to do that since Japanese food typically uses a lot of seafood based ingredients so we were very grateful. He and his wonderful partner Cecilia showed up on time, brought everything they needed and asked nothing from us. Each course was fabulous from start to finish and everyone was blown away by this experience. We will definitely be having them back in the future! Thank you Chef Koji and Cecelia!

We did a special order for Mother's Day. After a couple emails, we finalized the order: a vegetarian bento for myself, and also a 10 inch wagyu cake to celebrate Mother's Day. I loved my bento! The pickled tomato and side salads were very fresh and tasty. The rice was well cooked, and the tempura was very crisp too! They had a very thin coating and kept the freshness and the juice of the veggies inside. The wagyu cake was good too, according to my partner. The beef was cooked perfectly and the rice was seasoned well with furikake. Would definitely recommend ordering from Koshin

Had a lovely home dinner for my husbands birthday through Koshin Bento personal chef services. The menu was excellent and every course was delicious. I had the best steak I've ever had during this dinner. Overall great service and communication throughout the whole process. The prep area was spotless after. Thank you for a memorable experience.

Cute little spot in a food court area. Ordering a day in advance is usually cheaper and they don't do same day orders.

I even reached out to the owner of this firm, but he like his staff did not care to even get back to me. There's nothing like incompetence bred from the top down. Working with this firm is like sending yr resume into a black hole, and their indifference to respond to communication after they reach out to you signifies a lack of professionalism and an incompetence which no one should accept.

We won four hours of organizing services from Lisa at The Time Butler at a charity auction…read more We put off calling Lisa for a few months, but we eventually got around to making the appointment for a two-hour visit. I stalled by giving her a tour of the house, which took up most of the time, but she did "encourage" us to clear off the kitchen table -- we filled up a couple of bags of paper during that exercise. She returned a couple of weeks later, and we used up the other donated hours. On that visit, we cleared out the media shelves in the family room, uncovered the coffee table, and rediscovered the desk. We also filled up several bags of stuff (books, VHS tapes, magazines, toys, and who knows what else) which were suitable for charitable donations -- and Lisa took it all away. She's been back twice since then, helping us deal with the shelves and desk in the kitchen, all of which are organized, clear, and usable for the first time in a long time. And again, we donated a bunch of stuff to charity (as well as filling a recycle bin!). In between visits, I got rid of some excess hardware by putting it on craigslist (most of it sold within an hour); I've also started transferring old VHS tapes to DVD (though why I needed a DVD version of King Dinosaur is a matter of some debate with the rest of the members of the household). There's no magic to it -- we're doing all the work (well, she wields the labelmaker...) and making all the decisions. But she acts as a forcing function -- when she hands us a pile to go through, it seems silly to just put it back where it was (though "later" is always a valid decision -- and I've deferred some things by moving them to a room we haven't reached yet). I'm happy we won her services, and happier that I finally got around to calling and making the appointment!
