After multiple repairs and breakdowns afterwards, I was told this engine has 100k miles. This was confirmed by Cameron at the shop. I tried to follow up and get documentation, but management told him not to help. Management told me they won't provide anything. They wouldn't provide me a reason. I told them their client is lying about the milage on the engine. They didn't seem to care about providing the proper information. Rich and Adam lack integrity and won't do the right thing. They are comfortable in screwing clients. I would avoid these guys if given a choice. If something goes wrong, you're out of luck. As Adam put it, "you can take it to court if you like". Pro tip for first timers to this yard, wear shoes you don't care about because there's like this moon dust everywhere that will cake your shoes. Learned that the hard way, haha. When they didn't I went right back to return and one employee made it a point to make it difficult for me telling me that he couldn't return knowing he could. After asking for manager information he all of a sudden decided it was ok to refund the purchase. (Manager was not available today) Then when they attempted to return it didn't work because of the system. The trip was a TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. I will never go to this location again and will think twice about Advanced Auto Parts given their choice of personnel to represent their brand.
