In Orlando for Spring Break and following good reviews on Google, I came to get some take out. I very seriously doubt they have any experience running an efficient commercial restaurant. I will say the food was above average. But the service .... .. well, another story altogether. Even using the term "service" loosely, was simply unacceptable. This place is a good spot if you'd like to get authentic Pakistani food. It's nowhere near as good as food in Pakistan. This place is not fair. Warning: this place charges double tip! They take an automatic gratuity and when the bill comes you will get a POS system that will prompt you to tip again on top of that. We are a group of 4, so that was surprising. We accidentally tipped because the waiter was standing right there not giving us time to look at our bill. Cons: - portions are kind of small, this is NOT typical for Pakistani restaurants as food is eaten family style. This is surprising considering the price. - you will not get any water with your drink - none of the entrees come with sides. A $15 wrap does not come with a side (like rice or naan). If you've never tried Pakistani BBQ, Koyla is here to introduce you. Right off of 192, a small but inviting storefront. The restaurant is well lit and it was very quiet. We got here around 2 on a Sunday afternoon. Our server was well informed and more than willing to make recommendations and give us a detailed tour of the menu. He was attentive throughout the experience and great customer service. We started with Veggie Samosas, they were served hot and fast. The spice level and flavor worked well with the raita and tamarind chutney, both very enjoyable. Our server let us know it would be about 20 minutes for our entrees to be prepared - it was well worth the wait. We ordered chicken tikka leg quarter, Beef Bihari, garlic naan, and puri paratha. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing experience here. I tried the karahi, and it was extremely oily and unappetizing -- I would rate it 0.5/10. They heavily promote their tikka boti on TikTok, claiming it's freshly made on charcoal (Paki style), but in reality, it was nowhere near fresh. I truly wish I could say something positive about the food, especially considering the restaurant is located inside a mosque, but I'm sorry -- you really need to focus on serving fresh and flavorful dishes. Portion sizes were very small, and the prices were quite high for what was offered. On a positive note, the service wasn't bad -- the server did come by a couple of times to check on us, which I appreciated. You guys need to serve at least 2 leg quarters, One leg quarter is just not it specially of that size. The one star I'm giving is solely for the customer service, as the food itself, frankly, does not deserve any stars. There are a few other Desi restaurants nearby -- I would highly recommend exploring those options to gain a better understanding of what good restaurant food and service should be like. Worst experience ever. Came here twice, was not served food. Each time there was a random excuse - no care of respect for the customer who has travelled from far away or is need of food to feed the family. I was greeted by two different guys at the counter (each time), both were arrogant & lacked basic customer service skills. I thought the other recent bad reviews may have been exaggerated, but having experienced it myself (twice), I'm surprised how they don't even care about their reputation - specially after I noticed few of their responses to the customer reviews/complaints on google. We went to the buffet and everything we tried was delicious. They were attentive with the service and the place had a casual easy going ambience. My only complaint would be that some items were extremely spicy (and I'm used to eat spicy food), so it would be hard to take some of my family members in the future. Even if it was half as spicy, it would still be really spicy. I would like to suggest that they could tone it down some, and add the spices or sauce on the side, or on a condiment bottle in the buffet, so people can add as much or as little spice as they want. Because of this, I'd consider the score closer to 4.5, than 5 stars. If they implement this easy fix, I'm sure me and many other customers will appreciate it. read more

Came on a Friday night. An inspector really should check this place out. I want to start off by saying the woman working on Friday 11/22/25 at 9 pm was very rude and bad for business. Her shoes were not only not nonslip but she was clacking and dragging them throughout the restaurant. Out food did not arrive after waiting 40 mins. From what I hear this place used to be a nice hole in the wall for authentic food. Real deal Pakistani barbecue. I had the Nihari and the Bihari kebab. Both were outstanding.. Another authentic touch is they serve water at room temperature if you desire. No frills atmosphere, but this is part of the charm. Good value for the quality of food. read more

We visited Koyla BBQ during our trip to Orlando FL. Location is convenient, place was busy. Ambiance below average with stcky dirty tables and what seemed like leaky yellow stained ceiling. Right in the heart of tourist zone, so close to Disney parks this location could do so much better but why bother when you are seeing new faces every day who are traveling and need to eat Halal food. Very disappointing. Menu options were very limited. Service and prices subpar. We never went back during our 8 day trip. read more

Excellent AUTHENTIC Charcoal grilled kabobs, friendly service, some seating inside but you come here for the food (not the ambiance). Suggestions are Bihari kabob, malai kabob, really any of them... the paratha kabob rolls are perfectly wrapped up with chutney and onions...good restaurants deserve a shout out! read more
