Valentine dinner tonight...wasn't impressed. Ordered prime rib special - medium rare and it was medium well...was rung up properly by the waitress so not sure what happened. Prices and food are great.my associate ordered bbq and was very happy and I ordered chicken plate, portions are big and you must order the s'mor sunday..yummy. We visit Massillon about once a year and Kozmo's is always one of the highlights of the trip. Great drink menu (Manhattans are excellent). There are daily specials which are also excellent. The only negative is they are closed on the he 4th of July. read more

I really struggled with the star rating because the food quality is sometimes spotty as well as the service. Last night (NYE) our table had a number of dishes that were fantastic - stuffed mushrooms and artichoke dip for appetizers went over well. Our waitress , while having great intentions, seemed to be burdened by the number of tables she had - dont know why there weren't more people working - she kept the drinks and food coming . My friend had the salmon ( and was asked how she wanted it done which seemed odd- never heard that asked about fish) , I had the chicken marsala which was fantastic. All in all , in this one horse town this ain't a bad spot - but if there was a choice of places to eat dont know if this would be a go-to spot. read more

Chef can't tell when produce is rancid. Have dined at Kozmos approximately 6 times over 4 years. They have definitely gone down in quality. Have a beer stick with fried foods and you will be ok. sent an item back, honestly had three at the table confirm rancid produce. Chef says he tried it and AOK. Wrong. read more

I had the mushroom pizza special. It was good but not great. The pizza seemed a little bland to me; I ended up spicing it up with red pepper flakes. The fries and horseradish sauce that my son got with his steak sandwich were better (he didn't share his sandwich). I liked that they were open until 10pm on a Saturday night. We had the same experience as Cindy R on the same night. We did the call ahead seating for 2 people at 6 pm. We arrived at 6 and were told it would be about 15 minutes. Almost an hour later we were seated. So, the call ahead seating is a scam. I would rather you don't say it is an option than feel I was lied to. The food was decent and we have been here many times before. It will be a while before we go back. The one thing that was in their favor was the staff. The bartenders were spot on. Our waitress was overworked and tried to make it a good experience when she had the time for our table. read more

The battered shrimp platter I had was just short of burned, very dark brown and dry. The accompanying fries were also almost burned, but seemed to be left over from a previous day -- cold, super limp (you could have practiced tying knots with them). First thing off the bat it is posted anti concealed carry. Normally I would turn around at any place that doesn't want to afford me a god given right. A nice thing went into restroom to wash hands water was hot right off the go, nice touch. On to the food. Steak sandwich ordered medium, came no pink or red. The bite size pieces were nice touch though. Wife's club sandwich was very little bacon and browning lettuce. Service was good. Overall, decent food but food vs price seems little over priced. Our service was not good. They were very busy, but we had a large party (with reservations) and had 1 waitress assigned to our party. Had one heck of a time getting even a coffee refill. A few people liked their food. But we had problems with almost all of our food. Carrots were almost raw, chicken panini had old freezer burnt chicken. They did let her switch it for something else, but then when the check came, they were charged for both. They definitely need to get more wait staff when they are that busy. read more

Massillon could use some more quality restaurants like Kosmos. I usually stop by for a quick burger and homemade chips for lunch. Their burgers are hearty and prepared just right (juicy and not overdone). They make their own chips that make the perfect side. I tried their wood fired oven pizza the last time I was there...now I have a dilemma. Pizza was amazing , if I'm starved I can barely get through one by myself , but there's no way I can eat that and a burger. read more

Had a wonderful luncheon for a family of 25. We were very pleased with the upstairs venue with the bar side and the dining room side. Jackie and the other servers were awesome. The food was delicious and everything was as we had ordered. Very reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this place for small groups. read more

Came here on Saturday night while we were in town for a sporting event and we were so glad we did! The ambiance is great here and we enjoyed hanging around the bar area while we waited for our table to be ready. We had a large party and no reservations/call-ahead seating but they still managed to accommodate us within a reasonable timeframe so kudos to them! Their side salad was fresh and the ranch dressing was very tasty. I had the firecracker shrimp which was lightly breaded and absolutely delicious! My hubby had the burger which he really liked and we also tried our friends' fries, which were oh so yummy! As an added bonus, we stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street from them so we were able to walk over AND get 10% off our bill with our keycard, score! We will be back in Canton next month for another sporting event and are already looking forward to returning to Kozmo's for dinner. read more

My whole family recently dined at Kozmo's. I personally loved the atmosphere. It has such a unique and comfortable feel to it. The staff was very hospitable and the food was excellent. I have been to restaurants where the staff may have been good, but the atmosphere was not or the atmosphere was good and the food was not. It is hard to find places that provide stellar service, atmosphere and food quality all at the same time. The most shocking part above all was the price of the food. There are things on the menu that I have paid double for in other restaurants and the quality was half as good. At Kozmo's, you cannot beat the value it provides, not to mention the great variety of beer selections on tap. I highly recommend and will continue to tell everyone about it. read more

I have been here a few times and I feel like I am "wishing" it to be better. But it always disappoints. Atmosphere is nothing special either. The food is alright, but the experience was bad. We made a reservation for a large party and all arrived 3 minutes early, but didn't get a table until 40 minutes after our reservation time. That left us stuck with multiple people standing in the doorway blocking traffic for 40 minutes, ruining an otherwise positive experience. Arrived only 10 minutes before closing, no problem. I like restaurants that are truly open until they are closed. Friendly help and great service. I ordered the planked Salmon, optional clam chowder upgrade (50 cents) mashed potatoes and the house Merlot. Wine was better than I expected. The soup was hot and tasty - recommend upgrade. Arrived from Palm Springs CA to spend family time. We eat out 5-8 times in southern ca and love restaurants who value customer service. We went to Kazmos and were NOT disappointed. We had no reservation and the place was packed. Rather than a 30 min wait we decided to eat at the bar. I've frequented restaurants because of their bar service and what I experienced tonight would rival any of them. Our bartenders were Jessie and Bekah. Jessie immediately welcomed us and from that moment our experience at Kazmos was wonderful. Their knowledge of drinks and the food menu was outstanding. I didn't get a chance to speak to the manager Mandy but had I had that opportunity I would share with her that her staff is phenomenal. So YELP followers, take it from me... dine and enjoy drinks at Kazmos. We have 8 more days in Massilion and a lot of family commitments but I am returning here. Thank you Jessie! read more
