Cozy, contemporary and intimate restaurant with a modern twist on traditional Korean flavor. Kozy is definitely a great place to start if you want to be introduce to Korean cuisines. Some of the traditional dishes such as the kimchi and galbi have mild Korean flavor. The branzino was overly seasoned and definitely wasn't a favorite at our table. The hamachi and the lychee martini was definitely well loved dish and drink among myself and my friend. Server was nice and attentive and gave us the wonderful recommendation on the martini.

Found this place with a google search and we are so glad! The restaurant is beautiful and all the details from the wooden cutout on the menus and check book to the aprons are so wonderfully curated. The food and service were just as great. Our waters were never empty thanks to the attentive server. Our server gave great explanations to our question and even better recommendations. We grabbed two small plates and a main to share and every bite was delicious and filling. The fried chicken was extremely crispy yet plump. The bulgogi was amazing. I savored each bite and I cannot wait to eat it again. There were so many items we want to try. Can't wait to go back

Glad we stumbled upon Kozy's Grand Opening while looking for a place to eat in Downtown Libertyville. The waitress and servers were fantastic and very friendly! All the items we tried were delicious and it's hard to pick a favorite. We look forward to coming back again and trying new items as they expand their menu. Highly recommend checking out Kozy!

One of my new favorite restaurants in Libertyville. The food was amazing. (Personally I would love a little more Korean spice but for American it was fantastic). The chicken was the star of the show but everything was had was great. And service was excellent as well. Already booked our next visit.

Soft opening today. I'm glad I made it. It was way way better than expected and worth the wait. It's very authentic but at the same time a little bit of fusion. All the food tasted awesome! I've been to LA, Vegas, South Korea, it's up to that standard, if not better! Love it!

But as the restaurant has gained in popularity, service during peak hours can get iffy. Our server this morning was friendly but she and almost every other employee looked slammed. We didn't mind waiting for our food but it definitely took longer this morning. It may have been the perfect morning weather colliding with a long weekend, but we had to flag someone down for syrup and butter for the pancakes. Despite a less than amazing experience, we still love Buttermilk.

I chose to eat at the bar and that was a good choice. The bartender was very professional and friendly. I ordered an omelette, small grapefruit juice and a cup of coffee. The coffee and the juice were brought quickly. Unfortunately, the coffee was terrible. My breakfast arrived not too long after. The Omelette was a monster! Huge! Not too dry, tasty, loaded with stuff. The English muffin and mixed berry jelly were perfect. The potatoes next to the Omelette were delicious and not greasy at all. This was definitely a very expensive breakfast, But I was in a reasonably expensive dining district, so maybe that was to be expected.

We tried three different wobbly chairs before giving up and settling for the least unstable one. It took 40 minutes just to get water, and over an hour for our drinks. Mine didn't arrive until the manager stepped in--75 minutes after ordering. When our appetizer finally showed up 90 minutes in, the "stuffed mushrooms" were cold, undercooked, and missing the sausage entirely. We sent them back because there was nothing edible about them. The soup tasted good, but it arrived more than an hour into the meal--and came with burnt pieces on top, which is especially ironic considering the fire alarm was going off at the time. The alarm was blaring directly above our heads, and two families walked out during the chaos. We should have followed. The salads we ordered never arrived. Multiple menu items we attempted to order weren't available, including the salmon for the salmon salad and the prime rib sandwich. At that point, the menu felt more like a list of things they used to serve. After two hours of waiting, missing dishes, unavailable items, and nonstop disruptions--on a birthday, no less--we finally walked out. And despite everything, we still tipped our waiter because it was painfully clear the chaos wasn't entirely his fault. We walked next door to Emil's, where the difference was night and day. We were seated immediately, treated kindly, served a full meal in under 45 minutes, and they even surprised my friend with a free birthday dessert to salvage the night. Emil's saved what Center Cut completely destroyed.
