Krave was a vibe, even on a snowy night I visited with a party of 4, and despite the weather, the experience was solid from start to finish. When we arrived, the restaurant was fairly empty (only about four other tables), which made for a calm, relaxed dining atmosphere. We received complimentary fried dumpling which was nice and order calamari and the crab and lobster rolls, both of which were really good and a great way to kick things off. For entrées I ordered the oxtails with rice and peas, One friend had oxtails with jasmine rice, another ordered fried shrimp with jasmine rice and oxtail gravy, The last entrée was grilled salmon with mashed potatoes and vegetables Everything was very flavorful, well-seasoned, and satisfying. The oxtails were tender, and the salmon was cooked nicely. For drinks, we tried: * The Tropical Long Island * Their version of a Piña Colada * The Strawberry Sidecar All the drinks were enjoyable and paired well with the food. To end the night, my friends shared a slice of the Coconut Time Cake. I didn't try it personally, but the consensus from the table was that it was really good. Shoutout to our waiter, who was kind, attentive, and informative throughout the night, which always makes the experience better. Overall, Krave delivered good food, good drinks, and good service. I'd definitely return!

Dined here for my mom's birthday and what a time we had! Would like to give a HUGE shoutout to the owner and staff of Krave who made my mother's birthday a memorable experience. They played Stevie Wonder's "Happy Birthday" version & danced with us! Food was good - very flavorful with a lovely presentation. Cons included too much oil used, overcooked scallops, candied plaintains? Plaintains are sweet as is. Can do without the additional sugar. Could've been the chef that day. Unsure. My favs were the sautéed spinach, meatballs, and the codfish fritters. Very good! Would revisit and I do recommend to others to dine!

    Happy Birthday

Went to celebrate another year of life with my friends. The food was good. Especially the oxtails. The rum punch could have had more of a punch. The music was played at a good sound level. We were able to calmly converse at the table. A Good time was had by all.

The food and service were good my one feedback was that the salt content was a little bit high in the Mac and cheese and the oxtails. Outside of that everything was good. The drinks are top tier!!!

Always 10!!! Went last night and had the amazing Lloyd as our server. His customer service is outstanding! Ordered the usual drinks & appetizers: Rum Punch, Double Trouble & jerk wings - well done. Wings were excellent! So good, we ordered another one. For entrees, we got curry shrimp with rice & peas; fried shrimp with rice & peas - side of oxtail gravy. Everything was great! Shrimp on both dishes was cooked well. Got another double trouble drink....yes that's the best drink on the menu. And a take out order of Cole slaw (comes with the fried shrimp dinner) & Mac n cheese.

I visited Kraves on Saturday to celebrate my father and brother birthday. The ambiance of the restaurant is calm and relaxing. There is music that play in the background. The music is not loud and obnoxious. However, they play r&b, hip hop and some Caribbean music. Preference wise if I'm going to a Caribbean establishment I like hearing soca, reggae, dancehall, etc. The establishment is kid friendly. They have a kids menu as well. The food tastes amazing. The oxtails were tender and falling off the bone. Everything was flavorful. I really enjoyed the jerk chicken tacos! The drinks were pretty good. Two people at our table had the rum punch. Neither of them liked this drink as it has too much cinnamon. To me the drink tasted like a horchata. Service was ok. There were a few mistakes with our meals. But it was addressed immediately. I do recommend.

Truly enjoyed my birthday at KRAVE. Very good idea of authentic Caribbean food! The decor is lovely inside.

Had codfish cakes and tasted the lobster crab rolls. The former were ok (I've had better), and the rolls were just mehhh. Both accompanying sauces were super thick and not good. Snapper escovitch - super dry. The escovitch tasted like it was sitting for days. Peas and rice - smh, and not in a good way. Side note - I was hungry, so I ate the food but it was not bc it was enjoyable. Rum punch - was cool. Had an after taste but (I can't say what that taste was). I doubt I will return

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at Krave. My friends and I went on a Friday night, the music was great, but not so loud that you can't carry on a conversation. We ordered the cod fish fritters and pepper shrimp for appetizers. They were both very good. The pepper shrimp was very spicy, which I enjoyed. The service was good - our orders were taken and provided quickly. I had shrimp friend rice for my entree - so yummy! The atmosphere was great, the service was efficient, and the food was delicious. highly recommend and will be coming back!

Omgggg, she had me at curry goat, and then threw in a free sample of the oxtail and it was over. Both are delicious and I have always felt that oxtail cannot beat out goat, because it is my favorite mammal to eat, but alas, I was wrong. I ordered a medium size plate and she piled ON the food. Her husband is the chef, and that man can cook! I will definitely be returning because that jerk chicken was whispering sweet nothings to me the whole time I was there.

The restaurant is modern, crisp, and bright, with colorful paintings adorning the walls. The menu is provided on digital tablets at the table, which are more convenient than having to scan a QR code. They have a great selection of custom cocktails. I ordered the rum punch and enjoyed the sweetness and fruity flavor. For my main, I had the avocado toast. The bread was soft, thick, flaky, and slightly sweet. The avocado was fresh and chunky. Based on reviews, I also got a side of the mac and cheese and it did not disappoint. It was well seasoned with creamy cheese and a well done top layer. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits. For dessert, we had the bread pudding. This took about twenty minutes to come out, which was a bit of a long wait. I loved the caramelized berry topping. The bread was a bit chewy, but still tasty. Service was excellent. The owner, Alvin, stopped by our table twice to make sure we were well taken care of. Can't wait to come back again with the rest of my family!

So I was so very disappointed when after Covid they continued with the only pick up service. The food quality is enough to continue yes but the vibe dining in and at the bar I truly miss. My daughters fell in love with this place because every time we walked into that dinning room there was a particular servers who KNEW US. They knew us enough to know my daughters had a favorite table (the 1st we sat at dinning there). They know us to know that my daughters had special distinction drink mocktails (one of the reasons the fell in love wit this place) that they could order even when it was no longer in the menu. This was one of those places we frequented....even if they couldn't get their special table or waiter, the quality never disappointed. During Covid we order delivery regularly because we didn't realize how much this spot because our Caribbean food must have. I can't say we ever really had tried a different meal from over favorable ones that made us say this is one thing they don't get right to us. And the rum punches and Bob Marley drinks they served during their dinning days is what got me to the pin t I had to start stopping in this joint just to have a drink and appetizers. This really used to be by spot back when they had dine in services. Over the years it's in our delivery/pickup Bronx favorite list unfortunately. I say unfortunately because now that we are back at full operational living. I har to slash the delivery/pickup weekly rituals to only situations of desperation not necessity. So this spot has only become a craving order delivery/pickup order spot. Not a I got some/gonna make some time to go enjoy a drink and some Caribbean food spot destination. Which this was my #1 default choice before Covid as I said this used to be my spot. I would take my daughters here damn there biweekly if not be there weekly myself on dates and when hanging out . Cause they people there were serious enough about customer service they would acknowledge knowing who you are and treat you as such. Hence again why my daughters loved this place as kids. *Looks right and left* a yoo when yall opening the dinning in area again cause it's been log enough now...FIX IT! lol

The jerk chicken lovers in my life can't get enough. My recommended dishes are the whiting (fried) with rice and peas, rasta pasta and now the lobster (which I didn't know they had). The seafood is made to order, fresh and super tasty. I never thought sweet chili and lobster would be a good combo but it totally rocks! It was truly delectable.
