First, let me say that I've thought a long time before I decided to write my review to make sure my personal feelings did not cloud my response about my experience. First, there was a wait but it wasn't bad at all, about 10 minutes. I did decide to wait outside since the entryway was packed with people and some were even blocking the doorway. I did not know how seating was going to be managed here and if there were limits to how many people could dine here but, I was invited by a friend who said they had been doing every other table when she came so I felt a little relieved. We originally were seated at a good table and there was no one immediately next to us but then a large group came in (6 at one table, 8 at another) and they were both seated to our immediate right. We explained to our waitress (she was tall with blonde hair) that I have a heart condition and I don't feel very comfortable sitting that close to these tables that were not wearing masks. We gestured to a booth that was a lot safer for us and we were then told that "That's the risk you take coming to dine at restaurants and that's why I don't eat out" I was shocked by that response and the lack of care for my concern. My friend is a nurse and advocated for me until we were moved. After that our waitresses disposition with us changed drastically and she rarely came to our table if we needed any assistance. It was only when we had to ask others for help, did she come and check on us. The food here was amazing but I was so disappointed to have my health concerns pushed to the side and pretty much told to stay home if I don't want to sit too close to someone. I have every right to dine where I like especially if rules are supposed to be in place to protect all who come in and pay money to dine there. I don't think I'll be back. It took a lot for me to let my guard down and finally go to a restaurant after being cooped up in my home for over 7 months. I'm sure there are places that are more patient with those who may still have some fears but want to come out and enjoy time with friends. I feel I deserve that just as much as anyone else. read more

We were in the area to try this spot out based off of the reviews. My friend enjoyed her food; she had a steak skillet. Unfortunately, my food was not good at all. I ordered the fried chicken steak. I had a couple bites of everything and didn't like it at all. I even decided to leave my food at the table after packing it in a Togo.. First time here, although it was a busy, the staff was excellent! They apologized for the wait and leave the coffee container for you to refill at your table. I had a veggie burger and it was excellent! The hubby had chicken chilaquiles and they were excellent! We also had French toast. Plenty of food, we had to take home leftovers! disappointing for being 1st time going. Maybe they were short staff or something, not sure but when we walked in no one was at the front desk took a moment before someone even came to us. I could say they did have ALOT to offer (food-wise) and everything sounds good. I had got the lamb chops dinner($37) with side Mac cheese~~could've been better the cheese was off didn't taste right; dried up to fast for me. I wanted a baked potato but they said they didn't have any but had "smashed potatoes" -_- so was it boxed? The smashed potatoes was alright the gravy helped. The lamb chops should be called Baby lamb chops cause they did me dirty. Flavor was there but looks on the pictures are deceiving. $37 is a robbery. My man had got a bacon egg cheeseburger which was pink in the middle. The wings was a bigger disappointment. He a grown ass man eating some baby kid wings the sauce Was the only thing fire on that along with the celery. He also got a Strombol-buffalo chicken but they messed up and made him a Philly chix one. They apologized and fixed the order and said that we could keep the one THEY messed up on the house. My man leaves a tip on the table...receipt....order total 109.30 then bottom of that say 20% tip 19.80 ???? Don't understand so they tip themselves? doesn't seem right. $129.10 or did they charge us still for that mess up they did and was suppose to be on the house? Love this restaurant and them lamb chops oweee! I'm sorry but I can eat them all day! It was a nice warm home cooked mea! I loved it and I will be back! The place was clean great social distance inside! Yes I did say inside! You can eat inside and be a In restaurant for once! Did I mention how good them lamb chops was? Well besides that they had a like a million other things I wanted to so I have to go back! Pancakes are to die for btw! Don't take my word for just look at these pictures! Found Krave on TikTok, and let me tell you... it was worth the drive! The place is spacious and inviting. We were greeted and promptly seated upon arrival. The food... absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced! The pancakes were amazing. I've had red velvet pancakes other places, and they've always tasted like batter. The pancakes here are square shaped, fluffy, and delicious. If you're in the area or willing to make the trip to Beidgeview, check this place out. I will definitely be back! read more

It was the best Corn Bread Pancake I've ever had fresh out the oven Exclusively done by Krave! I ordered the Marinara & Cheese sandwich with Breaded chicken (kind of like a Chicken Parmesan sandwich, my fav) paired with Fries & a Chicken Gumbo Soup, it was so delicious. Its very easy to drive passed this restaurant but please don't!!!! The serving sizes are huge, you will definitely have left overs. We ordered the French toast and pancakes.....fresh fruit and toppings.....we ended up full off half and took the rest home. None of it went to waste. We will be back. The food was good but I paid for mushroom and charged for mushrooms but I was hard press to find them in my Phily chesse steak. As for the service when I got there I was the only one in the place and the first persont to take my order did not ask if I wanted soup or salad (suppose to be part of the meal) on even anything to drink. Seemed like he did not want to even be there. The second person was much nicer, Empty ketchup bottle on the table. 3.5 . Went on a weekday morning. Not very busy but only one waitress doing it all. She was the hostess, cashier, waitress, etc. She worked extremely hard , I wish I had gotten her name, she deserves extra compensation! I ordered the French toast breakfast, the cinnamon swirl French toast is amazing! My husband got the biscuits and gravy. He did not like the entree at all. The gravy had zero flavor, was a white paste of flour and water. He did say the regular pancakes were very good and made up for the flavorless entree. The coffee tasted old . The food I got was so absolutely terrible. The hash browns were under cooked and the buffalo wings came over fried with the sauce on the side in a small container. I stayed at the hotel next door for a work trip and this place saved me during the snow storm they had. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are huge. I had breakfast takeout both days; I did the pancake breakfast one day with strawberry cheesecake pancakes that included two massive square pancakes with eggs, hash browns, and four bacon slices; the next day I did the French toast breakfast. I had plenty of leftovers to last me throughout the day! It was an easy walk from my hotel which made it very convenient to get food. When I come back to the Chicago area, I will definitely come back and eat here. Breakfast is my favorite meal, but I only wish I had the chance to try lunch or dinner. read more

This is an ok overall breakfast spot! If you have a baby It's definitely not baby friendly! No changing tables and no car seat slings to sit them in. Also I get it's COVID time, so not sure they are under staffed but the waitress had no help. I came here on a Sunday around noon, the wait was about 25 minutes for a table of five. This place was so busy, I thought the food was about to be BOMB! I wasn't a huge fan, its like any other basic breakfast spot. The pancakes are extremely fluffy and they are cut in perfect squares, very unique. The fluffiness could be good or bad depending on who you're talking to. To me, it was bad, it was just way too much. The turkey sausage look like pork sausage. They have a bunch of tables, even with social distancing. If you're looking for a simple quick breakfast in the area, this might be a good place for you. read more

Went there first time tonight for dinner, the restaurant is not very cozy looks more like a cafeteria. After reading the menu, it states under the entree listing, it states do to high demand items you cannot, return or exchange any of these. I wanted to order the pot roast entree, so I asked the waitress if I could have a sample of the gravy used for the pot roast, she said yes and brought me a sample which was good so I ordered it. Well when the meal came, the gravy on the pot roast was a lot different, it had tons of onions and a few very thin slices of mushrooms. I told her it tasted much different from what I sampled and she said no they only had one brown gravy. The food presentation was nice and like the option to have fruit instead of pancakes or hash browns.
