Cute small cider spot next to a brewery with a shared food stall (this time pizza). The cider…read moreselection was much bigger than I've seen and all with interesting flavors! The woman behind the bar was friendly and helpful and it was a calming nice vibe. I really enjoyed the Oh Snap with ginger - definitely would go back !

It is sharing a space with a brewery and I recommend you see both of your best worlds, but my family and I are cider heads. And we totally like the fact that they decorated for Halloween with properly placed skeletons in the room we enjoyed taking pictures with them. As you walk through the entrance, the first thing you smell is popcorn. They have a popcorn machine there and let the guests have free popcorn if they like. Everyone of my family loves popcorn. The thing I thought was really great is we could bring our dog in and they're very dog friendly. We have a nice sweet little dog. We knew there wouldn't be any problems with guests. They were tasting eight ciders that day. So we ordered a flight of eight so we could taste all their varietals on sample. I tried the wooden tooth special and the sweet tooth and strawberry and oh snap and Newtown Pippin and don't make me blush and pretty in pink and tropical burn. My personal faves were the first two and I also liked the don't make me blush. I was so impressed with the cider which I bought two bottles of their Gravenstein, which you cannot get a tasting up because of the supply left is low. I'm really looking forward to tasting those at home. Awesome all around. Now on my radar.

I don't hear about many places that make mead/cider in the area. It's a bit cold inside. There's plenty of parking outside. On a weekday night, the area was bustling due to their neighbors at Hapa's and pinball next door. There is parking aplenty. The cashier was incredibly nice. We got to try all 5 cider flavors as a flight. They were surprisingly strong. None of the meads were available unfortunately. Guava Gremlin 6% - This tastes like you're on a tropical vacation. The guava is stronger in the aftertaste, and is a bit light when you drink it. Hibiscus Garden Party 5.5% - This one is fragrant and gorgeous. Tastes like a tart fruit. It's like Starbucks refresher but more flavorful, more sour, and alcoholic. Pearracuda 5.8% - Tart and fruity! It tasted the most tart to me out of all the drinks. The pear smell is light. I was tasting the sourness more than I was tasting a typical pear flavor. Golden Rift 5% - The body and taste of this one was noticeably different, not as tart nor bubbly as the others. It tasted a lot like a beer actually, although not bread-y. It's peculiar and I didn't mind it, but I wouldn't drink a whole cup of it. I think some people would not like it. Ride or Dry - 6.8% - This was our favorite! I was expecting more bitterness and sourness, but it's actually very easy to drink. You would not expect it to be 6.8% ABV. How dangerous! I can get a whole cup of it. All in all, I think this spot is so neat. It was fun trying all the flavors in a nice environment. I highly recommend and look forward to trying their new items next time!

It was fun sampling all the different flavors! Not all flavors were good though... but that is up for you to decide. The space has a laid-back, warehouse vibe, and they even have some board games for guests. It's a chill place to hang out with friends, and I saw people bringing their kids and dogs, which is cool. Personally, I'd pick this place over a brewery any day because I love my drinks sweet and bubbly!

I was told by the owner that if you see balloons outside, the place is open for tasting. This place…read moreis tucked in the commercial yard across from the lumber yard so the balloons are a handy beacon to this tiny space. Each time I have had the pleasure of having the owner there to explain the process and differences between their offerings and it is apparent a lot of work goes into their cider. The tasting menu usually has 4-6 different products, each distinctly different than the last. The biggest surprise for me is their brandi perra. It is similar to a port or apple brandy but made with pears. I was hesitant at first, but have purchased a bottle and taken it to a few parties and it is a hit. If youre in the market for something you probably can't find any where within 100 miles, give this place a shot. Just look for the balloons!!

We haven't done a Cider Tasting before and it was really fun to learn about the different ciders. Pacific Grove CiderWorks makes hard apple cider and pear cider (Perry). In addition, they have a Sparkling Perry and a Gold-Medal-Winning Brandiperra (their unique Pear Port). The cider maker, Tim, is a wonderful host and creates a fantastic environment to try these ciders. If you are looking for something different in the Pacific Grove area, I would highly recommend coming by and experiencing something wonderful!
