I just visited Seascape Foods for the first time, and it definitely won't be the last! What a lovely, cozy place to shop and hangout. The owner, Julie, is so delightful, accommodating, and passionate. Leo, who was the cashier when I visited, is so incredibly kind and helpful. I had a ton of questions, especially regarding my allergies, and she answered them all thoroughly, helping me navigate what was safe to eat. The food at the deli/bakery was all SO good and made with quality, healthy ingredients. Best spot I've been to by far for some yummy breakfast in Santa Cruz. There is a decent wine and beer selection as well as cool gifts with an ocean/nautical theme. It IS really expensive, so I don't think I would do regular grocery shopping here for a crowd. read more

Very cute grocery store next to a really yummy coffee shop. They had a nice array of groceries that you could get at Whole Foods. They had a nice deli section where they had premade sandwiches and breakfast burritos. I did purchase the breakfast burrito which consisted of black beans egg potato and salsa but lacked in any flavor and needed some salt or something. I don't recommend it. In the deli section they had a great selection. I should've gotten a sandwich instead. The staff were very nice and pleasant. Plenty of parking all around the complex. read more

We moved to Aptos 2 years ago and are SO grateful for Julie & Dan's care and love in providing delicious ready-to-go meals and snacks. We come here at least 2-3 times a week to grab a warm breakfast burrito or sandwich for lunch. They make their own organic bread! Great place to grab food for a beach picnic. Our go to spot. We love this spot. They have a thought out selection of items and food available. We especially love the grab and go section from the deli that is made fresh daily. They have the best sandwich combos, juice and side dishes. We feel very lucky to live nearby. We usually buy fresh food from here and eat it by the fountain outside. read more

Cute little market right by Seascape Resort. It's perfect to grab a cold drink, a snack, or even lunch. They have lots of hot foods including homemade lagsana, soup, and mac and cheese. They also have grab and go sandwiches and salads. Everything is pricey, but not overly so. There is plenty of seating outside so it's great for warm days. Terrible. Forget that their prices are absolutely absurd, the service is just plain bad. I go to their deli counter and ask the young girl if I can get half a pound of sliced turkey. She just looks at me and says nothing. I ask again, she says she can sell me the pre sliced turkey they cut - but she doesen't know when it was sliced. I point to the big meat slicer behind that and ask if it works - she says yes, but she already cleaned it. I said - it's 5pm, you don't close until 7pm - another two hours. She just says yep. We went back and forth a few times until I gave up and walked away with nothing. Beyond that we bought some produce that was likely sitting there for a few days and paid double what you would pay anywhere else for some old bananas, mushy peaches, and so so strawberries. What waste of my time. If I was the owner of Seascape Foods, I would lose my mind knowing that I was losing business. Next day - we went to Safeway - bought everything we needed. Ironically - the guy working the deli there looked just as miserable as the girl at Seascape - go figure. read more

I had to plan a surprise anniversary and I wanted a five star catering experience for 2 of my favorite people. How do you find a caterer willing to do that? Julie was amazing and she even went out of her way to trust me with her custom plates to serve with. Her response time on texts and the phone was above my expectations. My guests have strong food restrictions and she went over and beyond. I frequent her Deli ...( I think we need to find a different word for her location because it's so unique and amazing) her food is unbelievable if you just want to pick it up or actually serve a formal event at. They have really cute patio tables in the shade so you can enjoy one of her off the hook sandwiches as well! read more

This place was a complete joke. We came in at lunch time on a Friday. It was a little busy but we got our order in within minutes of arriving. We waited 20 MINUTES to get our order of a bagel with cream cheese and another 10 minutes to get our sandwich. Everything was mediocre in taste but I was completely blown away when I opened my sandwich and saw the wrapper of the Brie cheese in my sandwich. That is ridiculous. No excuse for this.
