She texted him personally to make a Saturday afternoon appointment for me and sent pictures of the wolf-cut I desired. I arrived on time for my 2pm appointment and was greeted by Thanh and seated immediately. I showed him the pictures again. Then he asked me if I wanted to shampoo my hair, which I agreed to. Then we got straight to work. At the end of my cut, he made sure I liked the result, to which I asked for my bangs a bit shorted and he readily obliged. I paid $45 (excluding an additional tip) in cash, but I didn't inquire further if they also accept card or if there's an additional fee for paying by card. I looked around the salon for a menu of costs of services, which he said there wasn't one. No problem, I plan on coming back for haircuts only anyway which I know are $45! Otherwise, I'll text him personally asking for other services if I want them! All in all, I was in and out the door at 2:00 and 2:30 respectively, literally (I looked at the clock). I was so happy with my haircut, especially for the price AND quick in/out time. Thank you Thanh for your amazing work!!!

Even the price felt reasonable. I knew from our initial conversation on the phone I would hit it off with her. She's friendly, listened to what I wanted, even brought color swatches which NO ONE has ever done before and even gave me a beautiful blowout. I mention the blowout b/c SO many people struggle with my curly hair and take the lazy way out. The front desk staff was also very friendly and I've never found a place to be a regular at but I'm happy to know I now have one. I'll definitely be rebooking with her from now on. She put me back in the bowl and it wasn't much better the second time. Every time I said this is not what I asked for, my statements were ignored and masked with "it looks soo good!" After 4.5 half hours being in that chair I cried because my hair looked terrible. No one offered to fix it or make the situation better- just collected payment. I could not get out of there fast enough. The technique was definitely not balayage... It was a messy job at highlights. I now have an appointment somewhere for a correction.

So no Eden Aveda its not me. ************ Here is the original Google review I left and the response from Eden Aveda. I recently came in to have my hair done by Laura. However, a couple of days before my appointment, I was informed that she had left the salon. I was rescheduled with Crystal, who was presented as a Master Elite stylist. I had booked a partial highlight. The result of that appointment was my hair going from warm blonde to being totally washed out and grey looking. A few days later, I returned so Crystal could try to correct the color she did. Unfortunately, I left with the result of a yellow correction that looked like I try to do it myself. Additionally, my first two appointments with Laura also required corrections. Altogether, I have spent nearly $1,300 at this salon, yet my hair has consistently required rework and still ended up looking horrible. I have photos but cannot see how to post them here. I posted a message on X but have not received any response from this studio. The title "Master Elite" carries a significantly higher price point and naturally comes with a higher level of expectation and expertise. Based on my experience, I am no longer willing to subject my hair to additional corrective services. At this point, I am requesting a refund for my last appointment. I believe that is a fair resolution given the repeated issues and the outcome I received. They brought all their own supplies, enough to match everyone's skin and style, and managed the constant stream of people while doing a great job keeping things moving, very calmly and efficiently. Everyone looked amazing! Even with all the last minute hair flowers we added to the bridal party. I was worried about a couple hairstyles girls picked, but Nichole had such a great way of making it fit the person, blending it all as well so that we worked perfectly as a group.
