Love Cozzola's!! Best pizza in town! My go-to for years! Great thin crust and delicious topping.

In the late 1970's, I delivered pizza for Panhandler's mini-outlet on Mason Street and then, with original recipes and iron skillets, it was the Best. Arrgh! New owners came and messed with the formula. I left for better pastures and heard some of the old staff wanted the magic back and made their own place in Ft Fun old town on Linden Street. They did the old shop some better!! Sauce, crust and cheese options. The 1st gourmet pizza in the area. I was happy. But after years on Linden, the building was sold to the 4+1 crowd. Had to move to digs away from my usual sphere and I missed them very much. Had a chance to drop in the spot off Harmony Rd and the magic is still there. Hope the old guys I knew are still involved. read more

We ordered the 14" omnivore pizza and were very disappointed. The "thin crust" was thick and doughy, almost undercooked. The pizza has a thick, doughy 1" crust border, essentially resulting in a 12" pizza with 2" doughy border. The mozzarella had a weird, melted consistency and lacked flavor. We had tried their pizza years ago, now we know why we never went back. read more

first and foremost, I would like to start off to say the wife was very nice. She took everything I said into consideration when I got there, I dealt with her husband who was rude raised His voice actually screamed at me three or four times in front of his employees and other customers...so my pizza came out lukewarm. The veggies weren't even cooked and there was barely any cheese on top and I paid for extra cheese The vegetables weren't cooked. They were completely cold wife told me I can come in and get my money back when I got there I had to deal with the husband he said he voided out the transaction and I said can I get a receipt please I need to see the refund amount. He said I don't have one to give you. I said well I need proof that I got the refund. Then he screamed and yell even more at me, disgusting very disgusting behavior. I will never ever buy from there again. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

I've had mostly positive experiences at Cozzola's Pizza over the years but a recent issue with the restaurant was terribly disappointing. One recent evening I ordered a "Chicago" style pizza for delivery from their on line menu. I specifically indicated for them to not put peppers on my pizza. Sure enough, it came with peppers, making the pizza very spicy and barely editable for me, even after trying to remove by hand all the peppers I could. I called Cozzolas and spoke to a very nice gentleman. He confirmed that my order did say no peppers. He was apologetic and said he's have a "correct" pizza delivered to me in an hour at no additional charge. The pizza did arrive in an hour, but it too had green peppers! The next day I called the restaurant and spoke to someone identifying himself as the owner. He accused me of lying, saying he, himself, made the second pizza and knows he didn't include green peppers. Now I can understand that not knowing me, the possibility might cross his mind that I was trying to cheat him. But the fact is I wasn't lying, that he had made a mistake. I tried to point this out, but he insisted he was right and talked over me without allowing me to respond. He belligerently said he would refund me the cost of the pizza. I counter-suggested he not refund me the cost of the pizza since he didn't believe my story, and that he would lose me as a customer. I eventually hung up when he wouldn't stop talking and allow me to speak. read more

It was my first time ordering from Cozzola Pizza and I absolutely loved it. I have been trying to find a pizza place in Fort Collins that has a great pizza dough and I have definitely found it!! Former upstate NY'er, been in FOCO for about 2.5 years, Cozzola's is the best pizza we have found in Colorado. Enjoyed a half cheese, half sausage, jalapeño and black olive. Very good taste! This was our pizza before it met it's ultimate fate....yum! read more

Well......they used to be one of the best pizza's in town. My wife and I have ordered their pizza for about 20 years. This spring we ordered several pizzas to be delivered and a couple of them we had to call them on because the pizza was either cold or extremely soggy. Needless to say, we were informed that we have been "black-listed" because they claimed we complain too much. Black Listed...Really? We have spent a lot of money over the years with them and it didn't matter. So...I guess you are just supposed to accept whatever they send out regardless of the quality of their product. If I conducted my business this way I would most certainly lose customers as well. Good Luck if you order from this pizza place as you might get blacklisted if you are not satisfied. Not very impressed with this pizza restaurant. It boasts that it's the "Best Pizza in Fort Collins for sixteen years in a row." But I truly don't know why... the pizza is very expensive for the quality and size, the taste is mediocre, and an annoying quality of the pizza is the dough. Now, I'm not one to be captious on Yelp, but the underside of these pizzas are a mess. Each pizza has a terrible amount of dust or sand-like crumbs, most likely accumulated during production and it finds its way into the pizza box. So, once you open the box at home, you find a little trail of sand from the car seat to the kitchen counter. It was more than just a pain to clean up. read more

Easy system to use, but with such reasonably priced pizzas, suggest you add salads to the menu. Our pizza was just $13 so I had to come up with $7 more in food to hit the minimum of $20. Really didn't need 5 sodas....also a great price! Your pizza is amazing...give us a Caesar and a garden salad to add!! We'll "see" you again soon! Super nice delivery guy. Searched for pizza delivery near me the day we were moving into our new house, to feed us and the moving crew. What a wonderful surprise! I'm a huge pizza fanatic and love thinner crust, my husband is a Sicilian fan. This crust was somewhere in between and FABULOUS! I ordered this pizza based on the yelp reviews I was severely disappointed. I'd compare the pizza sauce to that of a pizza sauce you'd find in an ease-bake-oven . Honestly I said, I could have bought a store bought pizza and enjoyed it more. Also, I agree, they should have a salad option, but don't. I mainly had high hopes for the crust and dough...but again it was just really cheap. Sorry to say such bad comments but I honestly threw more then half of a medium sized pizza in my trash. Definitely my favorite pizza in town. We usually order the carnivore and the pepperoni...both are delicious. The crust is FANTASTIC!!! I am a bit of a pizza connoisseur and this is on the top end of pizzas that I've had. We usually order this when friends and family come to town as it is unique, local and delicious. My only complaints are that they don't bake the pizza long enough (I like my cheese cooked a little longer) and they are a bit more expensive. Delivery options are limited and can be a bit on the longer side, but the pizza is worth thd wait. read more

I don't give a lot of five star reviews. The reason why I choose to give this location five stars is for a couple of reasons. I enjoy the fresh local ingredients and options they provide. From dairy free pizza to whole-wheat poppyseed crust, to regular pizzas. It is all good here. I've never had pizza delivered outside the time I was told and pickup is always efficient. The ingredients used are top notch and their veggies are outstanding. The crust of the pizza is delicious and is on the thicker side. The pizzas are all very filling and priced adequately. I prefer the heavier whole wheat poppyseed crust when I get lots of toppings and the regular white crust for pepperoni and later toppings. The pizzas are filling and as such feed more people than you might expect. As the pizza is made fresh to order everything is hot, delicious, and nutritious. It will take a fewer slices to full you up than your average pizza place. read more

I drive by this place all the time and took the time to get out and read the menu. Voted best pizza in Fort Collins 4 years in a row. They have gluten-free options too. I read their story and everything (everything) is done from scratch. I ordered and decided to test out three options. They were fast (less than 20 minutes) and the best I've had in years. That includes New York and Chicago pizza. It is GREAT. Now it's my go-to pizza place. They don't want you to come in. Just park in front and text them and they bring it out. The best! read more

We cannot say enough good things about Cozzola's Pizza. Just yesterday, after ordering a pizza online, my partner inadvertently sent me to the wrong location to pick it up (the downtown Fort Collins/Linden Street site, rather than the Oakridge site.) I arrived at Linden, and a quick conversation with the staff revealed that my pizza was awaiting me at Oakridge. In the meantime, my partner had sent me a sheepish text message, apologizing for her mistake. I arrived at Oakridge and was about to head out the door when the staff presented me with TWO pizzas: the one they'd made initially, plus one that they'd made fresh for us, once they learned that I'd been delayed in picking up the pizza. This kind of service -- particularly when it was OUR error, not theirs, that led to our picking up the pizza late -- keeps us coming back time and time again to Cozzola's. (Of course, it doesn't hurt that they also make the best pizza in town, and offer vegan cheese as an option, too!)
