Good seafood hope to go back soon. We had a mixup with our order but the waitress apologized and offered to replace the mistake. We choose to keep it and she gave us a 25% discount on that part of the meal. Overall the place was super busy on a weekend and they did a great job moving a large crowd in and out of the dining room. My husband and I along with our best friend, drive about an hour and a half, from Evansville, Indiana, for the all you can eat Crab Legs. We love that you serve these all week because our days off are Sundays. And we can still come up through the week if we have a day off. I've told many friends about Kretzers. My DH and I Yelped for barbecue, and this place came up. It did not disappoint!! We ordered the full rank of baby back ribs to split along with 2 sides, which was 2 1 trip salad bars. The waitress brought us a sample of the pork pulled that morning, and it was great on seasoning albeit a bit salty. Threw many back ribs were phenomenal. Wow! We went there last Wednesday with a group. Granted there was 13 of us. We had a 2 hour plus wait which we were sort of ok with. We were all standing outside when someone asked if we could go sit on the patio, it would have been nice had the hostess suggested the bar or the patio instead of standing in the parking lot. We have been there a number of times and always left extremely satisfied. Not this day. Were literally were one of the last tables seated. We got there at 6ish and made it to a table around 8:30. First word out of our servers mouth were we are out of baked potatoes. Everyone was like crap! She took one 8 peoples drink orders and left before getting us last 5 drink order. Ok no biggie she will be back. Then she came back took those 9's food order and walked away. Finally she came back and got our drink and food order. Shortly after that she comes back and says the are not out of Ribeye's but they are going to substitute Porter House. Well ok not like we had a choice at this point. Finally she starts bringing out trays. Bye the time the last of us got ours half of the others were done already. I personally was under whelmed but the food. The lobster tail was like rubber and not flaky as it should have been, and the steak, which I ordered med-rare. It was a T-bone not a Porter House, it was over cooked, so tuff it was hard to eat, and completely tasteless! This was basically the feeling of the whole table. One person had the crab legs and said they very good but her steak was the same as the rest of us. I am not sure if any of us will go back but if we do it will not when they are running any special. The food here is simply outstanding and always has been. My family has been coming here since the early days and have never been let down. My personal favourite for lunch is the Kretzer's burger with bacon. Judging from the full parking area, I hope that Kretzer's continues to flourish for years to come. read more

I live 30 to 30 minutes away from this restraunt we only get to go every once in a while because its expensive. I did like this restraunt but unfortunately we experienced a bad visit. First of all this restraunt is said to be open every day from 11 to 9pm except for tuesdays when they are closed. Today is Monday and it is 5:23pm we pulled up and parked and realized the doors are locked. The open sign is turned off and there is no courtesy bote explaining why they are closed on a day that the website says they are open. I tried to call the restraunt to make sure they didnt just forget to open because I have worked in food before and realize that sometimes yoh get carried away with your work and forget to open. However this was not the case i called and recieved a busy signal. I then waited and called again and realize that someone was in fact there but unplugged there phone or something cause it just cut out. I do understand that sometimes things happen and you have to close down but being in customer service you should at least have the commen courtesy to leave a sign saying sorry for the incovience but we are closed and will be back up and running at such and such date. read more

My husband and I came here last night. The wait was so long so we decided to sit at the bar to grab a drink. Our bartender, kristi, offered to take our order and we were able to eat crab at the bar. She was wonderful! Although she was busy all night, she managed to remember our names and gave great service. We will definitely be back! read more

Our family has been to Kretzers many times and have always enjoyed it. This time they seemed to be a little out of sorts. The food was great as usual but the entrees were brought out at different times, some 10 minuets apart. Also the butter for the crab legs didn't arrive with the meal. It came out about 5 minuets after the crab legs. Not sure what was going on, it was busy that night, but we have been there when it was just as busy. Still a good value for the price. read more

Decent atmosphere but the food was so-so. We went with friends for the all-you-can-eat crab legs. I ended up getting the ribeye and snow crab. Service was decent but my steak had more fat than meat, and the crab legs were barely warm at first and over-cooked the second time around. Those in our group that got the King Crab didn't have an issue, but the three of us that had snow crab were disappointed. read more

I've been there a few times for food and drinks, and have never been disappointed, the wings are amazing, the service is great, and so are the prices,that being said , now to the reason why I thought I'd leave a review for these guys, I was in a BBQ cookoff on a team against theirs and after a long night of prep work, starting fires,and watching gauges , I was finally able to get a little rest while my teammates took over for me, after my quick nap, I wake up being told that they had brought in biscuits and gravy for all the teams for breakfast . After the event , the teams that placed, donated some of their winnings to a charity for a local dealing with lymphoma (if I remember right). Truly a class act. read more
