An extensive menu with a great dinner for two deal. My partner and I love Indian food so we are always looking for spots we have not visited. The restaurant is located in a quite spot in Raveena and street parking is very possible in the little neighborhoods near by. The space itself is nicely decorated and has a great calm atmosphere. The service was also very nice and our server was very attentive. We chose the saag paneer & the murg makhanwala for our entree options. We also got a side of rice to go with our meal and a small salad. We also got some garlic naan to go with our entrees too. We enjoyed the saag paneer but the murg makhanwala was the star of the show. It was deep in flavor and was rich and creamy. We finished one entree completely and walked away with most of the second entree as well. We were very happy with our meal but likely would not spend money on the entrees at full price because it is not a cheap spot. Absolutely amazing dinner at Kricket Club for Valentine's Day. I took a shot in the dark because we had never heard of this restaurant. It's located on a main strip off 65th in Seattle. Super cool vibe, cozy lighting, great music. You are immediately greeted as you walk in. For V- Day Kricket Club offered an experience of a 6-course meal. Every single dish was amazing. The golden beet purée starter was delicious and unique with lime caviar. Second course was crab, sweet corn Chaat- this was my favorite course. Third course of fiery chicken was delicious- spicy! Then the palate cleanser of some rose ice (had a much fancier name) was perfect to cool the heat of the last dish. Main course was lamb, lentil risotto, crispy mushrooms, with a delicious sauce. Also came with naan and Daal. Dessert was a strawberry sphere with mousse. My husband and I were so beyond happy we chose to have our Valentine's dinner here. Everything about this place is great! The food, delicious! Service, on point and attentive. Great place to take a date or small group. Good atmosphere for conversations and a good time. If you like Indian food but want to try something new, or if your friend isn't that impressed with "the usual" dishes, take them to Kricket Club. The food had familiar flavors and tones, but the dishes were new and creative. The dahi bhalla was not what I expected, but still incredible. And the gosht dum biryani was like a goat stew, if the stew was all perfectly cooked rice. We shared a few dishes, and I would definitely recommend trying something new. The tomato and chicken in the murg makhanwala made a great contrast to the heat of the biryani. If you are here for restaurant week, do yourself a favor and get the falooda for dessert. The bread pudding was good, but malai kulfi will round out your meal with a unique flavor, and cool down your mouth if it is still a bit tingly from your meal. Very refreshing and not heavy. We have been wanting to try Kricket Club since they opened and finally made it Saturday night. We made a reservation, highly recommend it on the weekends. We got there about 15 mins before our reservation and were told one table was finishing up and we should be seated soon. We had to wait for more than 40 mins (about 20 mins past our reservation time) and there were a lot of groups waiting for their table by then, leaving very entrance packed. Once seated we decided to order quickly, we got Chilli Gobhi, Gilafi Kebabs, Murg Makhanwala, Wargi Paratha, Herbed Kulcha, and Gosht dum biryani. The Chilli Gobhi and Gilafi Kebabs were good. I liked both the breads we ordered, Wargi Paratha, Herbed Kulcha. Murg Makhanwala was a little too rich for my taste. Gosht dum biryani was presented well, but wasn't our favorite. For dessert we got the Nankhatai Tart, that came with paan ice cream. We loved the badam halwa in the tart, paan ice cream was interesting. read more

Service was quick and we were well attended to and the server took the time to walk us through which dish was which even after we asked him twice All the food was well season and tasted amazing. The tiger prawns were honestly the star of the dish with the Murg makhanwala being others at my table. The Gosht dum biryani was my favorite large plate though it took a bit of digging to get to the goat but it was tender and flavored well. The rice at the bottom was soaked in the juices and carried the same flavor. Honestly loved everything (especially the mango lassi!) but the automatic 22% gratuity that only 75% goes to the servers is a bit off putting as many have mentioned. Let me start by saying the food is really good. They have their own twist to some of the recipes but the flavours are very unique and very fresh. We were greeted with a complementary pumpkin drink. The presentation of the food was exquisite. They kept it balanced and didn't overdo it. Some of the food presentations remind me of humble Indian roots while some have a modern touch to it. For small plate we tried Jackfruit Bao, Bengal Kathi rolls and Tiger prawns (Jhinga). The Bengal Kathi roll was good beyond expectations and the prawns were also nice. For large plates we went with Fish curry, Butter chicken, chana and kofta. It seems like they rotate their menu. The fish curry was delicious and I loved the chicken. I think they called it Murg Makhanwala or something but it's basically butter chicken. The service was great and so was the ambience. Keep in mind their menu changes and it won't be a constant based on when you are going. Omkar, the host literally saved my life. I didn't even eat here and Omkar provided the best customer service I've ever had. If any of the servers are half has kind as him, you will have the best experience of your life at this restaurant. I had stopped at the gas station next door to put air in my tires but didn't have the requisite $1.50 in quarters and there was no one in the gas station (lights were on but it was locked and empty) so I went next door to see if I could somehow get any quarters from Kricket Club. Omkar went into the back and brought back his tip jar and offered me his own cash tips. Unfortunately, there were no quarters in the jar. So, I went back and tried the gas station again, hopeful that the attendant had come back. Luckily, she had, but when I came out, Omkar was rounding the corner to the gas station with a plethora of coins in his hand. He was so kind to a total stranger asking for money. Went here for dinner with some friends to celebrate a special occasion. We ordered quite a lot of food and ended up trying most of the menu. *** The Fantastic *** The Kala Tikka Murg was absolutely outstanding. Perfectly seasoned, beautifully cooked, tender and juicy and delicious. The activated charcoal doesn't really add any discerning flavor but looks cool and raises the price by 5 bucks I guess. The Malwani Fish was excellent. It was more a goan style curry rather than Malwani (I grew up in these parts so know the difference well) but a fantastic dish nevertheless. The Gulkand Mousse served with a side of Coconut Sorbet was a perfect end to the meal. They served one portion on the house for my friend's birthday and we all sampled it and loved it. *** The Good *** The Murg Makhanwala was a fairly authentic butter chicken unlike most restaurants around. It was a bit too rich though and missed the spot on balance. The Gosht Dum Biryani was decent, but just about at par with some of the other good biryanis in the city. At a price point nearly double that of the competitors, I was expecting to be blown away. *** The Meh *** My friends found the Chili Gobhi and the Black Dal to be somewhat passable but nothing to write home about. The breads, all of them, were exorbitantly priced and came in tiny portions so you have no choice but to order more of them. Overall the food was fairly good, the service was excellent and the wait staff extremely warm and attentive, and the ambiance worked. The prices however are ridiculously high for the quality and quantity of the food being served and I do not feel they are justified in the slightest. **NOTE** - Under regular circumstances, I'd probably give them a 3.5 star and round up for the great service, but I'm docking the half star and pushing it down to 3 because at the end of the meal, the bill had a 20% gratuity added by default and a note below it that read "20% Gratuity is Service Charge and is retained 100% by the restaurant". This is a HORRIBLE practice and I do not wish to support a business that does this in the future. The wait staff deserve their tips and gratuities in their entirety and the restaurant shouldn't be allowed to do this at billing time. I will most certainly not be going back here again so long as this practice continues. read more

Lovely date night spot! They have a $55 dinner for two deal Tue-Thu & Sunday! You can also add a bottle of house wine for $30 and their rhone red is delicious. This restaurant is very close to our new home and we passed it on the first night walking to get our takeout from Isarn Ravenna. I saw their sign broadcasting the dinner for two deal and knew we'd be in sooner rather than later. We both love Indian food and modern / innovative takes on it are even better. Favorite dish was the murg makhanwala which was the chicken and had a nice kick to it. It was so creamy and flavorful and the chicken was slow cooked to perfection. Also really enjoyed the roasted eggplant. Chef Preeti also owns Meesha which I've heard amazing things about! It's a block away from our friends in Fremont (they love it) and look forward to trying soon as well. We had great service by Omkar. He graciously cleared a table outside despite patio not being ready, and Riley got to hang with us for dinner. Omkar brought out a little dessert for us to try. The flavors were wonderful but the textures were equally interesting with the smooth kulfi and chia seeds, finished with a crunch on top. One call out is that the dinner for two deal doesn't include rice or naan so you need to add that on as a side, so will likely be a tad more than $55. Highly recommend the naan. In general, most of the apps were pretty good with the exception of maska bun (served cold and the chai was unflavorful but maybe I'm just not used to Irani chai), makai bagel tart (super sweet). We only ordered two mains (veggie tiffin box and the rockfish) both were surprisingly less flavorful than the apps and overall underwhelming (and quite small). The drinks were super sweet (cocktail and non-alcoholic). The service was alright, nothing too special for the 22% automatic service charge. And the ambiance was also only mediocre, it was well decorated but some of the lights were out or dimming out. It was an extremely underwhelming experience for mediocre food priced exorbitantly for the quality and flavor. The dishes lacked the use of any spices - were heavy on cream and fat but not on taste. The menu had updated but not in their physical copies or online menu. We wanted to eat the tiffin chicken but they've replaced it with lamb. I took my fiancé to this restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. I made a mistake. There was no air conditioning in the middle of summer. They said the AC was on, but it was a lie. It was hotter inside the restaurant than it was outside. It made the hot and spicy food really unappetizing. On top of that, there were so many flies. That can't be legal. They gravitated towards our drinks (which had the ice melt within minutes of getting them) and they wouldn't stop coming. I just wanted a good night out with my fiancé and the night was a disaster. My gut told me to go to Isarn next door instead and I should've. For the pricey bill we paid for the evening, it was not worth. Not worth being harassed by flies and melting at our small table. I hope everyone steers clear of Kricket Club. read more
