The breakfast burrito was surprisingly good for a coffee shop. It seemed freshly made with fresh salsa. I was impressed by the flavor and quality. The coffee was good and I got it quickly. Service was speedy and friendly. I do think they could use some help. It was a pretty busy morning and I only saw 2 girls working but they were hustling and getting it done. There is minimal indoor seating and a good amount of outdoor seating right outside and all over the business center. The shop itself is super cute, modern and clean. Love the drinks don't get me wrong. But there is no organization, poor service, poor customer service, and the staff members always scoff when customers ask why they have to wait over 20+ minutes for a cold brew drink. One occasion is a pass, we get it; everyone has those days. But this reoccurrence of at least 3 encounters is unacceptable. Why was my drink in the back, already made, and I watched the staff make it and go on their break...? Just trying to be realistic here. Kiosks and online orders allow for efficient and fast service without the need for interaction. But there seems to be some issue with either the online system and orders, orders and staff, or a combination of all. Other coffee and drink places are able to efficiently do this, just wondering why there are always difficulties and rude attitudes/behaviors when customers have to ask the staff where their already-made drinks are. read more

THEIR MATCHA QUALITY IS BACK!!! I've been skeptical to visit after their matcha quality degraded months ago but I decided to give them a second chance & so glad I did. They released so many new drinks, including a double matcha which is *chef kiss*. I appreciate how generous they were with the matcha cream top - very thick, smooth, & creamy like an ice cream. I've been to the other KRISP location but this was my first time to this new location! It's kind of in a business park area. I was headed somewhere but wanted to swing by to get a sea salt foam jasmine iced tea, so I ordered online. Their online ordering takes longer than it should. It gave me a wait time of about 20 minutes...compared to Starbucks, which usually is a 4-7 minute wait. When I showed up 10 minutes after I ordered, hoping it might have been an overestimate, it turns out that I still had to wait about 10 more minutes, so it really did take 20. There were about 5 other people there waiting for drinks, so it was moderately busy but wasn't a huge line. The inside is fairly small and only has a couple seating options, which I think is intentional since most people are going to get to-go drinks in the business park area. I ordered my jasmine tea less sweet and with extra sea salt cream, and it was amazing! They really piled on the cream and it was so rich and delicious, quite a treat! The "less sweet" version was still very sweet, in my opinion. I'm someone who typically drinks black coffee and plain tea, so maybe my taste buds are accustomed to less sugar, but I think it would be nice if they could offer an even lower sugar option like 25%. But overall I was really happy with my drink and it's a nice way to treat myself - as long as I plan ahead with advance online ordering! read more

They have a pandan matcha that's well balanced and smooth, with the earthy bitterness of the matcha complemented by a subtle pandan sweetness. The pandan isn't overpowering, but comes through with every sip which adds a coconut vanilla-like finish. This KRISP location is in a business complex with plenty of parking. I am so tired of the diluted, sour bean water that crafty coffee shops make and call it "cold brew" and charge me $6... Then I was introduced to this place, and the only wish I have is for it to be closer to my house!! When I ask for cold brew, I want it to be so strong that when it's poured into a clear cup, the brew is so dark that light does not pass through. When I take a sip, I want it to be potent that it takes me to another universe where I can see sound. It was so strong that even after adding more ice later in the day, its strength didn't change at all. It took me the whole day to finish it. The newer Krisp location out of the two in Irvine & it did not disappoint! I haven't gone to this location and haven't been to Krisp in a while so I was looking forward to checking this place out. There's minimal indoor seating because the place is pretty small, but there is outdoor seating! When you enter, on your right there's a kiosk. There's only one so it might be rough when there's a long line or if people who takes a long time at the kiosk. Maybe that's why they have a display on the side where you can scan a QR code and order ahead. I got their blueberry matcha and it's so good; the blueberry flavor is very strong without overpowering the matcha. My bf tried one of their new drinks, the black sesame latte. It came out a bit bitter, even with normal/regular sweet but it wasn't grainy, which was nice. Drinks came out pretty quickly! read more

Let's start with the good: plenty of parking available. Sitting outside with shade and handicap friendly. The drinks seem unique and they have a seasonal menu that seems yummy. Right now they have the Oreo Latte. It sounds like it would be heavenly. Free wifi and 2 small laptop size tables inside to work and 1 larger table to set up show to work or eat. Tea and candles are available for sale as well. Nice little touch. The bad... First the barista was multitasking while I was attempting to take my order. I had some questions about the flavors since it was my first time here. She seemed bothered when I ask about the Oreo drink- she said "well it has Oreos" and well I am speechless lol The register to order is right next to the door so there was a line and people couldn't come in or out without having to break the line to order. Forget it if you are handicap. No menu was available to check out while waiting in line. There was only 1 menu available for food and drinks and it was by the register so I had to wait until it was my turn to read and decide what to order. A little menu elsewhere wouldn't hurt us customers. My order came in sections, 9minutes for food, by minute 12 I got the iced matcha for my daughter and by minute 16 I finally got my drink but only it was wrong I ordered a hot and she gave me an iced drink. Solid spot. We ordered a strawberry matcha, a blueberry matcha, and a caprese avocado toast. Their matcha is a little on the sweeter side for me. The blueberry matcha here is different from other places. They describe it as having a fruity pebbles flavor and I definitely tasted that. It was pretty good just wish it was less sweet. A whole latte love... My favorite spot to get some caffeine. I've tried White Macadamia Oat, Banana Latte, Blueberry Matcha, Butter Rum Toffee and Pandan Matcha; all were good! My top two favorites would be Pandan Matcha and White Macadamia Oat iced. Plenty of parking in the morning and nice and earthy decor inside. Staff is nice and patient. The espresso was great! I especially loved the white macadamia nut latte--so yummy! The honey lavender latte was okay. As for the food, it was just okay. I wasn't a fan of the egg style in my burrito. It looked like a fried egg, but the yolk had a chalky, overcooked texture--almost like it had been boiled. This spot was pretty easy to find and had lots of parking available. They had a nice amount of outdoor seating with big sun shades and a nice cool breeze which was a contrast to the weather. There was a signage propped on the ground that directs you into the shop as well as some window design too. There's only a few seats inside. I got their 20oz, Iced Honey Lavender Latte ~ $6.50! Omg, this pricing for a 20 oz is absolutely wild. My drink did have lots of ice and that's not a bad thing. It didn't melt as I took time to drink it. The notes of orange blossom honey and French lavender syrup were barely there sadly. Maybe the workers were too nervous they'd make it taste like soap? I would have liked to see a little more of a lavender oomph to the drink!! If I were to rate it based on the drink I got I'd give them a 2/5, but if I ignore that, then...overall, it was a solid 4.7/5! I'd come back to try their other drinks like the banana one or their butterscotch I think? The prices were really good! My brother ordered the 20 oz, Iced Pandan Matcha Latte. This was surprisingly delicious as it's coming from a matcha hater (aka me). The pandan flavor was super prominent but you could still taste the matcha. It wasn't clumpy, nice and thoroughly mixed. My new favorite place to get pandan matcha! I arrived around 9:20am. The cafe is small and there wasn't many people there. I was able to order and get my drinks in a short amount of time. I like that the cafe has seats with tables attached. I ordered the pandan matcha and banana latte for my friend. The pandan was already mixed in the drink so you can drink it right away. It was so good! The pandan wasn't too sweet and overpowering; you can tell they use real pandan. My friend enjoyed her banana latte. I'm definitely coming back here if I want more pandan matcha. I really want to like this place. Their menu is interesting, their workers are friendly and their aesthetic is appealing. It takes longer to make the drinks but with order ahead it's not a big deal All that being said, I can't make this part of my rotation because too many of their drinks do not allow for adjusting sugar levels. I don't know if it's because they're premade or if they're worried about the integrity. As someone who consistently gets less sweet, I am fully aware that my drink may not taste that good. I am a reasonable person, I would never blame a business for a drink adjustment I made. There was no line to order when I came, but the drink took a little bit of time to come out, about 15 minutes which is pretty long for a single drink. - black sesame latte: 7.8/10. I love how strong the black sesame and coffee flavor was. Not diluted at all, very flavorful. I also love the bits of black sesame. They didn't have the option to adjust the sweetness, but luckily it wasn't too sweet. I still would have preferred less sugar. Something I noticed was that their straws are very weak/flimsy. It was difficult to mix up my drink without the straw bending and folding. Overall, my drink was very delicious and I will be back to try more drinks and maybe even the food, but I hope they take into consideration these little kinks! read more

This tiny coffee cafe is located in a business plaza and primarily serves the people working in the area or folks wanting to grab some coffee and food to-go. There are only four seats inside and four tables on an outdoor patio. I visited late on a weekday morning. I chose a sweet drink, a hot butter rum toffee latte, and also picked a cinnamon roll (in the shape of a heart) from the pastry case. While my latte was made and the pastry warmed up, I noted that two chairs were taken by people enjoying coffee and food (avocado toast, breakfast burrito) and one person was sitting at a small table taking up the other two spots with her laptop and backpack. Her parents never taught her common courtesy. I took my pastry and coffee and sat outside despite the cold weather. The cinnamon roll was perfection; great cinnamon flavor throughout the soft roll and an addictive frosting on top. The butter rum toffee latte was sweet, but not overly so, with the complex flavors of its name. Perfection for anyone who likes espresso drinks on the sweeter side; I loved it. I'm very happy that this location of KRISP exists because the "main" location is on the other side of Irvine for me (20+ minute drive...). This one is located in a business center and has a much smaller venue, less workers, etc. Keep this in mind, as busier days could mean you'll have to wait a 20+ minutes for your beverage/food. Anyways, I am obsessed with the drinks here! They bring some pretty unique flavors that you'd be hard-pressed to find elsewhere: banana latte, butter rum toffee, nutella madeline. But the #1 drink that keeps me coming back? Their pandan matcha. This was a combination I did not expect to like, but I guess the grassy flavor of pandan enhances the grassy flavor of matcha? I don't know; don't ask me. I'm just a white boy that loves matcha. But anyway, if you like that grassy matcha flavor, you'll love this drink (frankly you shouldn't be getting matchas if you don't like that taste profile). It's ceremonial grade too, if that matters to you. I think the one downside is that some of their drinks can't be adjusted for sugar level. I personally think the pandan matcha is the perfect amount of sweet, but I can understand the disappointment if you want that adjusted (I believe it's because they use rock sugar? don't quote me on that). (We accidentally smooshed ours while taking it to our table) They do have multiple milk options! I also enjoy their selection of teas. The butterscotch one is delicious!! It's honestly nice to try some new places in 2025! I wanted to try a place that had some good matcha. I can definitely say the matcha here is of wonderful quality. I ended up having two drinks here-- the signature matcha latte (hot) and the strawberry matcha. Both drinks were tasty but I actually did like the signature matcha more! They have some really good variety as far as drinks go. I tried my friend's Pandan matcha as well and I thought it was really tasty. The drinks are QUALITY. 10/10. I also got the Caprese Avocado Toast and my personal feedback is-- avocado, tomato, basil-- everything was fresh, but the bread choice is not a good one. In my personal opinion, I found the toast slice to be rather thick and hard to cut with the plastic utensils they give. A thick slab, if you will. I think a sourdough would probably go better with this toast. Also, another thing worth noting is that this location has less toast options than their Michelson location so be aware of that! I probably would not order the toast again because of the bread selection though. If you like a thick, less toasted kind of wheat toast...then maybe it's for you. It's located in kind of an office plaza, pretty close to Irvine Spectrum as well with a good bit of parking. The inside is clean and cute. It's small and so there isn't a ton of seating. The WiFi is pretty good though. There are 4 tables outside as well. The staff is friendly and this place does get busy with a lot of orders, kind of in waves. That being said, the orders do come out kind of slow. Maybe because they make really yummy drinks but it's just definitely not a place to order from if you are in a hurry. Or maybe try to order ahead online if you ARE in a hurry. Bottom line is-- I love the drinks. They are very high quality! I would come back for their matcha. They just take a little time. This spot is located in a plaza with a good amount of parking spots. Inside, this location does have a smaller interior, but it has a couple seats inside and a cozy vibe. There is also a little patio area outside with seats as well. For their menu, they have a great selection of different espressos, specialty lattes, matchas, smoothies, and pastries. I stopped by for a morning coffee run and got the Signature Matcha Latte, Blueberry Matcha Latte, and Banana Latte. My drink was the Blueberry Matcha Latte and it tasted great with the right balance of sweetness. Overall, I am glad that KRISP opened up another location to continue exposing the community to their amazing drinks! All of the staff here are very friendly and welcoming. Went to Krisp twice this week! Once during the week before work, then in the morning on a Saturday. Definitely coming back but would probably give myself more time on the weekday or just go on the weekend when I'm not pressed for time. Could be that the weekday I went, someone called off. The worker that day was a bit behind but he was still managing to greet everyone and make the food and drinks well! Still so calm, friendly, and informed everyone of the delay. Love the white macadamia oat latte! Got it both times. My husband got the vanilla latte both times. We tried the morning burrito, ciabatta, and turkey avocado croissant. All of their matcha's here are sooo yummy. I also love how they open at 7am which surprisely is hard to find a cafe that is open that early in the OC.
