I had completely different experiences with the Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie at Beaming's Long Beach and Irvine locations. The Long Beach version was disappointing. It was noticeably less pink and vibrant than expected, and the flavor was so faint that it was almost tasteless. If that had been my first experience with the smoothie, I probably wouldn't have ordered it again. Based on that visit alone, I'd give it 2 stars at best. The Irvine location, however, was a completely different story. The Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie was rich, flavorful, fresh-tasting, and beautifully vibrant in color. It was so good that after my first sip, I turned around before even getting back to my car and bought a second smoothie--the Mint Chocolate Chip. A few days later, I came back again. That's how impressed I was. The contrast between the two locations was shocking. The Irvine team clearly knows how to make these smoothies consistently and with the right balance of ingredients. After my Long Beach experience, I honestly wouldn't dare order the Strawberry Shortcake again without modifications or asking extra questions about how it's prepared. But at Irvine, I'd give it 6 stars if I could. Same smoothie, same company, completely different experience. read more

Beaming is a great spot if you're looking for nourishing, high quality drinks. My experience was extra funny because I gave my husband three options I wanted to try and asked him to pick one... and of course he chose something that wasn't even on my list. He got me the Cacao Power. It was good, just not really my cup of tea. You can feel that chalky texture you sometimes get with plant based protein, but it wasn't terrible and still tasted clean and wholesome. Overall, I really like Beaming and would absolutely go back, especially to try one of the drinks I originally had my eye on. Lesson learned. Next time, I'm ordering for myself. read more

Pleasantly surprised to find this inside Club Studio. I came here for a day pass and had to rush off after my workout to an appointment. So grabbing a quick açaí bowl from here was perfect. This is not a traditional acai bowl place. Located inside Club Studio, it's a small scale operation with only one type of acai bowl. The bowl itself mediocre, but it gets the job done. I wouldn't drive there just for this, but it provides a convenient post-workout snack if you're a member of Club Studio already. read more

My family and I visited beaming around 10am on 8/31/25. The storefront is located inside the Club Studio in Irvine.We ordered a Sunset Glow, Matcha Shroom Latte, and Daydreamer. The Sunset Glow was phenomenal as was the Matcha Shroom Latte. The Daydreamer didn't taste like much besides oat milk and I wouldn't try it again. The baristas spent a good deal of the time talking to each other, rather than taking my order. Despite us being the only customers in that moment, the ordering process felt rushed, as if they wanted to get it over with so that they could go back to talking. However, the smoothie was very good, had the perfect amount of thickness. I only come here after a hard workout because I feel I have to deserve it. The açaí bowls and protein shakes are delicious! They are also super filling it completely replaces a meal for me which is great cuz I get all the protein and nutrients I need after a workout while tasting delicious without sacrificing my gains! The drinks are great for the price they are offering. So many choices that include both health (fruit and vegetables) and "survival" (coffee). There are also a ton of add ins if you want to add anything into your drink. I think one of the benefits for them being connected to Club Studio is that you can download the app and pre-order your drink for a set time. This way you can take a fitness class and have a smoothie ready for pick up on your way out! How convenient is that?!?! They also keep the drink cold in fridge till you get there. I am a big fin of the LA locations of Beaming, so when I saw that one opened up next to a fitness studio nearby, I had to go! Although it is connected to Club Studio, this shop is open to the public. I ordered the Cacao Power and it was absolutely delicious. My drink was 16 oz, and they only had 32 oz straws (very normal these days with supply issues), but what surprised me was that Sydney offered to cut it for me! I just that was so nice, and going above and beyond with customer service. The café is cute and quaint and such a treat to have on this side of Irvine. My only request is maybe in the future they will bring the Mayan Mint Chip smoothie to this location *fingers crossed*. Thank you! read more

I've been going here for a few months and really like their smoothies and açaí bowl. It's perfect to grab one after a workout. Some of my faves: The daydreamer with whey protein added (extra cost) makes it taste like ice cream. The workout smoothie has peanut butter and cacao nibs and has all the post workout stuff you need to recover. Been coming to Beaming since they opened at Club Studio. I always order the morning ritual. My favorite! I just picked up my order and the drink looked diluted and tasted awful and terrible after taste as well. The attendant said nothing had changed and it was what I ordered. As I was explaining to her that it was not it, she just kept looking at me like I was crazy and confused the entire time. I asked her to make it again since nothing changed. Well, when she made it the second time, it tasted the way it should. This drink cost $15! I'm not drinking something funny just because she tells me it's what I ordered. This new and large location is surprisingly sterile and cold feeling compared to most Starbucks. Admittedly it has only been open only for about a month, but except for several long "industrial" tables and about 10 small perimeter tables it is devoid of any lounge chairs or other upholstered seating.
