Drinks aren't the cheapest but not as pricey as LA. The seasonal drinks are priced around 7 dollars. I tried the banana oat Matcha latte less sweet and really enjoyed the strong earthy taste of the Matcha. The banana flavor, though was more subtle, but I liked how it wasn't overly sweet. They do have quite a variety of pastries and even bagels with cream cheese. They had run out of the spinach, mushroom danish when I had gotten there, but I did try the garlic knot, which was five dollars and very crispy when warmed up enjoyed it with my Matcha. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have plenty of chairs and seating even a couple of tables outside I liked the availability of outlets against the wall.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]This is a very decent place to work or study from although I wouldn't say it's the quietest place to take a meeting if you're working from home it is even a great place to catch up with friends.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]
Great cafe in the Irvine area! It's located in a small business-center location. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super easy parking, spacious inside with plenty of outlets, and there is a good amount of seating inside (outside has only a few tables).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I love the Black Sesame latte - have tried many before and the quality of the black sesame paste is the best I've had. Great quality espresso too but not the best I've had. Also tried the cinnamon morning bun pastry - was really good. They have a small but well rounded selection of both sweet and savory pastries/breads from their business partner Goodtown Doughnuts (great business move). Service is really good. They have long lines but move fast without sacrificing quality. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I love how they have a clean area to put your dishes when you're done - it's clearly labeled next to the trash and recycling.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I'll be back in the future! They seem to have other great coffee/matcha flavors so I'm excited to try more of them.

Best coffee ever--seriously, get the sesame latte! It's unique and so good, definitely the highlight. I will say, don't expect the friendliest service. It's more of a grab-your-coffee-and-go or sit-and-study type of place rather than a super welcoming vibe. [[HIGHLIGHT]]That said, it's a great spot if you're looking to buy quality coffee beans or just need a chill place to study.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I rated it 3/5 due to terrible customer service. An Asian girl helped us with colored hair and she gave us attitude when ordering and didn't greet us. I really wanted to give 5 star due to the coffee but service is poor.
Delicious black sesame latte! I recommend no alterations, though Oatmilk is a must! Servers explain what decreasing sweetness is just less of the umami black sesame. Great suggestion! Hidden back in the office buildings is a gem! Don't go by too fast, you might miss it! There is ample parking and simple signage. I love the vibe & the laid back atmosphere. The barista's are SO friendly and have great recommendations. The Geisha pour over was recommended and it did not disappoint. Perfect temperature and you can taste the time that goes into this art! Smooth flavor, no burnt taste, and no need for any condiments! My friend got the almond croissant...I politely declined to try it as it looked so good that I would've wolfed it down. Already making excuses to go back!
There must be something in the coffee... Inside a business complex is a coffee shop with a sleek, modern feel inside. The line was going out the door on a Saturday Morning, and the inside was bustling. I believe this is one of the few new roasters in the area, so the traffic was expected. The Black Sesame latte was delicious. At first there wasn't much flavor, but duh, you gotta mix it up a bit...and after that the flavor came through in spades. Real roasted black sesame flooded my taste buds. Service is great, fast, and efficient. No complaints here!
I'm loving the vibe of this place. Totally reminds me of Bay Area and The Lab Anti/Mall Vibes. The decor is modern, smart, elegant, and sophisticated. A lot of college students seem to flock to this place. Their drinks are unique, high quality, interesting, and sophisticated as well. Cookiewise, it's more on the soft and chewy side. Personally, I like crisper cookie. The only down side is it's so popular that it may be hard to find yourself a seat.
I got the Banana Oat Matcha and my friend got the Latte. Tried to be adventurous since I usually get the Honey Jasmine Matcha Latte. I usually never get the banana matcha latte but this one was pretty good! Overall really like the vibe of this place, it feels super cozy. There is definitely a lot of seating in this area for catching up or studying. However, there was also a lot of people and can possibly get crowded.
This place is super cozy and nestled in an area that doesnt have another sit down coffee shop. The inside has a mix of booth seating and comfy sofas, which makes it a nice place to actually study or hangout. They also have some board games available too! There's no outdoor seating, so it's not really pet-friendly if you're hoping to bring your dog along. But if you live in the apartments or houses nearby, it's a really quick walk over I tried the black sesame latte (iced). I would recommend it! It wasnt too sweet and had black sesame chunks at the bottom for a sweet crunch
This time my coworker and I ventured over to Roosevelt! Irvine is a weird place with its coffee shops sometime tucked into business parks, so if you feel like your in the wrong parking lot, your probably in the right one, just gotta let the gps do its thing or maybe drive around for a minute lol. Walking in Roosevelt is pretty chill inside, plenty of tables and seating great for studying or getting light quiet work done, as it seemed that's what most people there were up to. Be careful of the back booths! You must have your full party of 2 or more in store within 10 minutes of seating... or else! (Jk to the or else ofc) The staff were friendly and the drinks came out quick so that's always a good time! This time out tried the black sesame iced latte. I love it when a latte comes out and visually peaks my interest and this one did with the streaks of sesame (it looked cooler when first served as opposed to as pictured, trust me). The sesame flavor was subtle but yummy, the coffee was good, and the sweet and coffee balance was nice. 5/5 black sesames, would come again! Thanks!
This is a very nice coffee shop with a friendly staff and some very good espresso drinks made with Sightglass beans. This was a pleasant surprise because Sightglass is one of my favorite roasters :) I had a nice Cortado, rich flavor with a creamy texture, and my Son had their Iced Banana Oat Latte which he said was very flavorful. Both drinks were excellent! The shop is neat and clean featuring an open design with plenty of seating and lots of windows. Its especially nice if you like natural light :) It was fairly crowded considering it was the only open business. The crowd was an equal mix of students studying and people visiting with friends. Roosevelt is located in a office park so there was plenty of clean free parking at least on the weekend LOL
This is simply an all-around amazing coffee shop. Beautiful look, free parking, ample seating to work/study, and finally a great drink variety. The Banana Oat Matcha Latte I got wasn't just a matcha with banana syrup. It was a true-matcha flavor paired with the comforting aroma of a spiced banana muffin.

I can't think of a coffee shop that feels more Irvine-coded. Pulling up in the private lot, I found plenty of parking behind every other white Tesla Y. In fact, it probably made finding my car it a bit easier because of it. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Once entering the main shop on the right (see picture) the demographic leans more toward UCI students with laptop plugs galore, Korean mom's meeting up with pre-school children coloring in the corner, and your coaches for the local HS sports teams taking a quick break to refill their 2nd or 3rd cup of coffee.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] In terms of coffee, I tend to lean on the traditionalist side and like my drinks more coffee forward. This time I ordered a cortado that was just the perfect amount of espresso forward accompanied by milk that did not taste overly warmed/steamed. It may be a simple drink, but Roosevelt did it well. For those who aren't as pompous as me about my orders, I was still very impressed by the Asian and Asian-American takes on traditional drinks and pastries. Count me in as a fan. Outside the coffee, one of the tell-tale signs of a good shop is the baristas. Every time I come in I feel like the shop is run by not just some of the friendliest staff, but just the friendliest people I have encountered in the county in general. Overall, between the quality of the food, the prices, the staff, and the general warm environment it would be hard not to add Roosevelt Coffee to my coffeeshop rotation. read more
I've had this place bookmarked for a long time. While recently running errands, I stopped in on a weekday late morning and was supremely disappointed. This place is located in a large business plaza with tons of parking. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior has a lot of seating but when I arrived around 10:30am every single seat was taken (around 40 people were laptopping away); it was packed![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This thwarted my plans to relax and enjoy coffee and pastry before driving home. I hesitantly decided to order to take home: a hot vanilla latte plus two items from their pastry case - a blueberry muffin and an almond croissant. The latte was blistering hot and needed the 20 minute drive home to cool down enough to drink. It lacked vanilla taste and just tasted burnt; thanks but I can get that at Starbucks. The cost of this child-sized cup was as much as most places charge for a large. When I opened the bag for my pastries, I was surprised to see instead of a blueberry muffin I was given a cinnamon roll with no icing - just sprinkled with lots and lots of cinnamon sugar. How can you mistake this for a blueberry muffin? She even repeated my order and I even directly pointed to it. The roll was fresh but with each bite, cinnamon sugar sprayed all over. After two bites and showering the table with tiny bits of sugary cinnamon, it got tossed. The almond croissant was the absolute worst pastry I've ever had. It was an embarrassment. The texture and flavor was like eating sand - unbelievably dry, crumbly, and flavorless. One expects an almond croissant to have frangipane or almond paste inside. This croissant was cut lengthwise in half and had a minuscule amount of some sort of tasteless cream spread between the halves; I couldn't even see it but knew from the moistness that something was there. I can't convey how truly awful this pastry was. The only good thing I can say was that the two women working here were nice even though they made a terrible latte and don't know what a blueberry muffin is. read more

Pretty expensive for a matcha if you ask me, but wow was it good lol. The black sesame had a delicious nutty flavor with a great sweetness level overall! ⁃ Menu: Classic coffee shop with some good flavors ⁃ Drink adjustability: sugar/milk adjustment options ⁃ Seating: lots of small tables, 3 large booths ⁃ Crowd: Never terribly crowded ⁃ Parking: Plenty! (corporate park) ⁃ Features: Water refilling spigot, 2 restrooms, free WiFi Nestled in a quiet corporate park next to a yoga studio, Roosevelt has become my new favorite go-to for a good old work session. There are lots of tables- 1 tall table w/8 seats, 3 big booths (you have to seat a party of 2+ at them, though), and ~8 small tables/4 couches/3 individual booth tables. Good amount of outlets scattered throughout these options. There are huge windows with natural light, gentle music, and wonderful vibes. Only issue, they close in the early afternoon, so come in the morning. I've ordered their banana oat matcha 3x now- phenomenal, natural banana flavor that's strong but not sweet, and I'm able to bump down the sugar by half. It's the best flavored matcha I've had in OC, hands down. Absolutely love this place. read more
Roosevelt Coffee is fire! Cool little modern space with ample seating. Their merchandise also in a section. I ordered a Banana Oat latte and it slapped. Seems like they have different flavors on rotation. The graphics are pretty cool too. Feels hip and hipster. Service was good. They use Sightglass Coffee. I used to go to Sightglass in San Francisco. It was one of my favorites. The pic is someone else's cappucino from the group I went with. I really liked the latte art. Lots of parking in the parking lot. The store is in a strange spot in an Office park, but it feels different once you enter. Seems they have WiFi if you're looking to work there on your laptop. read more
Nice cafe with a lot of natural sunlight and a good amount of space to study/work. It's located in a business plaza, so it's a bit hidden and decently quiet. There is also some outdoor seating areas and plenty of parking. I ordered a cappuccino with oat milk and an almond croissant. You can order for take out or to enjoy inside the cafe. They call your name when your order is ready, which took a few minutes. The cappuccino was quality and not cheap. The croissant was good but nothing spectacular. You can also purchase coffee beans there, which is nice. My only complaint is that they charge an extra dollar for a milk substitute. The coffee is good but too expensive for me to be a regular. I would definitely like to try more drinks in the future, though. read more

They have cool drink offerings, including banana oat matcha (pictured) and guava kombucha on tap! The service is wonderful, the staff are all so kind. The pastries are delicious, I love the tomato bacon croissant and the turkey and cheese croissant. The staff is very friendly. If you want a perfect spot to get work done or study, I suggest you go to Roosevelt Coffee! read more
Visited in the early afternoon on Saturday and there were plenty of folks dining in and outside. There was only one person ahead of me in line, and the barista greeted me kindly when it was my turn to order. The espresso is very smooth and paired really well with the black sesame and yuzu. If you're feeling something creamy and nutty, I'd def get the black sesame! But if you want something refreshing, go for the yuzu tonic! It's not overly sweet and the balance of the two flavors work well together. read more

Came by here for a coworking session and was surprised how packed it was on a weekday afternoon! It seems lots of other folks had the same idea as most other patrons were on their laptops and working away. Unfortunately, this made it hard to find a spot so we sat on the banquette on the side until a spot at the counter opened up. The banquettes weren't super comfortable so I do wish they had more seating in here or maybe just some tables for the banquettes so you don't have to perch with your laptop on your lap. I ordered a honey Jasmine matcha and it was pretty yummy! I didn't taste much of the jasmine but it had a strong honey flavor to it. I didn't get any goodies this time but they had a lot of cookies and other packages goods at the counter to choose from. The WiFi was really solid so I understand why this is the spot for working or studying. Not the best coffee, but a great study spot I got an iced vanilla late with a cream top, and I could tell from the color that the coffee taste wasn't going to be that strong. It wasn't overly sweet either, which I think is fine as the vanilla cream top made it a good balance. I will say, the cream top was delicious! Overall, I would give the coffee a 3/5, but I would like to come back and try a different drink. Why my review is 4 stars? The baristas were sweet, there's a large parking lot which isn't always easy to find in the OC, and a good amount of seating if you're looking to study or catch up with a friend. Roosevelt cafe had the perfect environment to study and get work done! I sat at the comfy booth, they have nice music, wifi, and a water station as well. Workers were friendly and nice. I have to say this passionfruit espresso tonic was not for me though.. I did not enjoy it at all (that may just be my preference, others might enjoy it). Pricing for drinks is also higher than other cafes. Pastries also did not look very fresh, I'm pretty sure they're not made in house. I would come again to try other drinks and work again! read more
Coffee and service is great. On the pricy side. Work/study and sitting area is nice, gets a lot of sun, decent crowd, not too loud. Parking is easy. If price were more reasonable would have given 5 stars. Recommended and will keep coming back. Never had a black sesame latte but will repeat, had a pretty nice texture towards the bottom of the cup. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. They have a nice variety of pasties and I'm obsessed with their cookies! The ube coconut cookie is not too sweet and has the perfect softness but hint of crisp on the exterior. I also loved the pandan coconut iced latte which was recommended by the cashier and I thought it was great! read more
Wasn't too sure what to get but Sydney was a master of the menu. i was sold with the Strawberry Rose Latte as she described it as a " strawberry cheesecake " Drink is what as described and quite yummy , great place to work or study. Had some time to burn before a meeting so we tried Roosevelt coffee and it was awesome! I had a flat white and my wife had a latte and spinach croissant. Everything tasted very awesome, I really enjoyed my coffee! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff were super friendly and the shop was very clean and welcoming.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If we lived closer I would definitely come back!! HIGHLY recommended!! read more

We visited on a Saturday around 10 AM, and it was fairly crowded, so we had to wait a bit to find a seat. We ordered a latte and requested it extra hot, but it didn't quite come out that way. Still, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the overall vibe was great. It seems to be a popular spot for studying, reading, or working. I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area! read more

The space is bright and thoughtfully decorated, with a few different seating areas that fill up quickly even during off hours. The pandan latte has a well balanced flavor, but the matcha latte is a bit too light. On the weekend there would be ample parking. read more
Came here to cowork with a colleague because we'd both had been wanting to try this place. This coffee shop is tucked amongst a business complex, with plenty of parking spots. On the inside, there's quite a handful of seating options ranging from high tables to low tables. They seem pretty popular as a getting work done type of coffee shop. Someone even had their whole desktop there! I got the banana latte with oat milk and it was alright. I couldn't taste the banana very much, and it tasted a bit like a regular latte to me. Orders are taken at the front, and they call your name once it's ready, which took about 5 minutes. They also have outside seating, but on a hot day, everyone was pretty much inside. Bookmark it! The perfect coffee shop to study, work or just hang out! It is spacious and clean! My ginger bread latte was delicious and not too sweet. I did ask for half sweet and it was perfect! The service was friendly and fast. It is in the middle of a business complex with plenty of parking. It is a must to visit! read more

This is my fave coffee spot in OC! This place has the most full flavored coffees and their offerings are all so unique and delicious. I used to order their sesame latter but I heard that is discontinued due to the supplier discontinuing the flavor which is very unfortunate, but they have other great flavors to compensate for the loss! Haha I always come here to work on my laptop and find the atmosphere great for getting a coffee with a friend, reading a book, or working. They have clean tables, outlets, and great internet service. Their service is always great and the staff is so nice that they even try to learn customer's names! read more

We use Crown Pointe blend for all of our espresso based drinks.
Do you have sugar-free syrup?
We do not have sugar-free syrups. We do have self-serve agave syrup, simple syrup and stevia packets.
Are they really closed on Sundays?
Just got an email that says they're now open on Sunday 8-3 starting April 6
Is your coffee organic and do you have Good Mylk or similar?
Hi Ashley, some of our blends like Crown Point Espresso and Blueboon Cold Brew are organic. We offer oat milk from Ghost Town Oats as a milk alternative.
For the scone, does it served with cream and jam?
No it does not, I got mine with just the scone
