Wow wow wow! I cannot recommend this place enough. You wouldn't know it just by looking at the outside, but this has got to be the best crab boil in the St. Pete area - there's quality AND quantity in every order. Fifteen years strong, this location has been providing crazy good flavor in multiple Tampa Bay/St. Pete locations. This location in particular has more parking than space inside. It made it easy to get a spot in line right away, and there was two fans keeping us cool. The couple running everything also happened to be from my mom's home country - so cool! Someone else recommended getting their "famous lemonade" for $1.99, and let me tell you, it's the BEST lemonade I've ever had. DON'T skip out. After some intense deliberation, my mom and decide to go with combo #11: 2 Snow Crabs 12 Shrimp 6 Sausages 12 Mussels 3 Corn 8 Potatoes For $41.99 First of all, what a steal! I only got medium spice, but whatever is in their garlic sauce made everything taste out of this world, even after a fifteen minute drive home with the takeout container. While we wanted to finish everything, the potatoes got the best of us at the end. Some side notes: you can't sit down to eat here, and there definitely isn't the staff capacity to cater to large groups on a walk-in basis. I am SO loyal to Krispy Krab. Since I moved back here after school, this is the only place I will go to get seafood trays. There's a lot of crab places in St. Pete, but the others don't compare. Krispy Krab by far has the best garlic sauce/crab juice flavor. I'm not a person who's huge on spice, but there's just enough kick in their mild sauce that makes it perfect. Not too much, not too little. They have the option to get your order spicy as well. Now it's not any kind of fancy establishment. Expect your typical crab shack setup, but it is pretty quaint in there. If you're there at a busier time, like the weekend, and there's a line, you will be standing outside. I have gone around 5/6pm on weekdays and haven't had to wait long. Prices and portions are reasonable. Rarely do I ever actually get crabs (I typically get what's pictured), but when I do, those are great too. read more

I'm from Georgia and love to get seafood while on vacay. Stopped at the Krispy Krab to get their infamous blue crabs. The place is small so as soon as you enter you're at the counter to order. There were many people inside so it was kinda hot, there is no organized ordering process so we asked one another if they had placed their order to make sure we weren't jumping the line. Placed my order for a #1, paid and sat in my car until I thought it was ready, wasn't told a specific time. Food- if you like spicy garlicky this is for you, it wasn't bad but I prefer garlicky, buttery and lemony. There was a lot to eat and I was able to share with my husband. The quality of the crab and shrimp was so poor I didn't have much desire to finish it all. The sauce is okay -- it's extremely acidic with lack of salt to balance it out. What a shame, I enjoyed the food but despite asking the owner it was too spicy for my wife and the potatoes where really hot. I couldn't eat them. The owner said "not spicy" I wish they could hold the spice and just give garlic butter. There is another popular place seafood place that will just give garlic butter. Krispy Krab was my preferred place for crabs, they've changed and so have I. Their crabs are small all the time and they don't give extra for size they drown the crabs in garlic butter which has changed to me that you can't taste the crabs. The flavor not the same at all. It's a hidden gem!!! I ordered the #17, which was supposed to have sausage, a crab cluster, and potatoes. I got multiple clusters, shrimp, and potatoes but I'm not even mad the order was incorrect. It. Is. So. Good!!! The sauce is super spicy, but I didn't even care. The man behind the counter could tell I was new. Just had Uber eats take out from this place and I ordered the clusters combo 1 with extra eggs and sausage. Let me get straight to the point: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME EATING HERE! The crab legs had barely any meat and it was as dried as eating sands. There was little to no flavor. The eggs still had shell leftover that they didn't completely peel off. Oh hell ya! This is a little "dive" seafood shack with many options to build a great meal for yourself or the family. Chose the #6 with a side of broccoli in garlic butter sauce and the 20 scallops. FIRE! I search for food like this anywhere I go and love to share the experience because it helps tremendously. The sauce used with the snow crab, corn, potatoes, and shrimp was very much on point. It definitely isn't got everyone. We chose to have it spicy and it wasn't over whelming. All the other spices showed up! the butter garlic sauce and broccoli was good, not a staple of the place but good to have. Little boy scallops that didn't fall short of a good side to have with this meal. Hey look, everyone has an idea of what seafood should be like and if it's not the flavor they may be looking for, but you should just try it and don't knock it because YOU don't eat that kinda sauce or YOU don't have a tasteful pallet for something new. Delicious! Whenever people ask me where to get seafood around here, I'm always hesitant because I've never been extremely impressed. But, this place has some of the best seafood that you can find in the Tampa Bay area. They've got crab, shrimp, fish, chicken and even crawfish the prices are extremely reasonable and the service is excellent. The staff was extremely friendly and nice, they even offered me a sample while I waited so I can try the food. It's the perfect balance of flavor and spice without being too overpowering or taking away from the seafood. They have a lot of different options from small meals for one person to enough for a family or even a party tray. I strongly recommend checking out for Krispy Krab you will not be disappointed! Hands down my all time favorite place in the whole wide world to get garlic snow crab legs, fried garlic snow crab legs, garlic mussles, garlic chicken wings, garlic shrimp, potatoes, corn and boiled eggs!!!! I'm from the east coast of Florida and thought that food like this was only found in New Orleans or the other southern states, but ohhhhh nooooooo! Krispy krab is a must, an absolute must everytime I visit St Pete, period! The sauce is sweet and spicy, the food is fresh and they give you wayyyyyyy more than you can ask for! The potatoes are soft and flavorful. This is a small take out only establishment so don't expect 5 star service and a "5 minute wait".
