I am SO loyal to Krispy Krab. Since I moved back here after school, this is the only place I will go to get seafood trays. There's a lot of crab places in St. Pete, but the others don't compare. Krispy Krab by far has the best garlic sauce/crab juice flavor. I'm not a person who's huge on spice, but there's just enough kick in their mild sauce that makes it perfect. Not too much, not too little. They have the option to get your order spicy as well. Now it's not any kind of fancy establishment. Expect your typical crab shack setup, but it is pretty quaint in there. If you're there at a busier time, like the weekend, and there's a line, you will be standing outside. I have gone around 5/6pm on weekdays and haven't had to wait long. Prices and portions are reasonable. Rarely do I ever actually get crabs (I typically get what's pictured), but when I do, those are great too.

This is the #1 with garlic blue crabs, potatoes, shrimp, corn and sausage.

I'm from Georgia and love to get seafood while on vacay. Stopped at the Krispy Krab to get their infamous blue crabs. The place is small so as soon as you enter you're at the counter to order. There were many people inside so it was kinda hot, there is no organized ordering process so we asked one another if they had placed their order to make sure we weren't jumping the line. Placed my order for a #1, paid and sat in my car until I thought it was ready, wasn't told a specific time. Food- if you like spicy garlicky this is for you, it wasn't bad but I prefer garlicky, buttery and lemony. There was a lot to eat and I was able to share with my husband. Again, it wasn't bad so I'm pondering a revisit.

Spicy shrimp with potatoes, Boiled peanuts, corn bites and crab cakes (lemonade to wash it all down not posted:)

So delicious!!! Everything was fresh, hot, and fast. Regular customers were friendly and helped me with suggestions of their favorites since it was my first time. The woman that took my order, possibly the owner was sweet and took care in her food. Hidden local gem. 100 percent will be back.

I love a good hole-in-the-wall restaurant and I was super excited to try this place as I usually am pretty loyal to Crafty Crab. Unfortunately won't be coming back. The quality of the crab and shrimp was so poor I didn't have much desire to finish it all. The sauce is okay -- it's extremely acidic with lack of salt to balance it out. Prices were cheap which drew us there, but was very eh overall.

The owner (?) is super friendly and kind. I just really wish the food was better. The sauce on the seafood and broccoli is just SO SO salty and the spices in it just were kind of strange together. The crab cakes and hush puppies were okay but I would not order them again.

What a shame, I enjoyed the food but despite asking the owner it was too spicy for my wife and the potatoes where really hot. I couldn't eat them. The owner said "not spicy" I wish they could hold the spice and just give garlic butter. There is another popular place seafood place that will just give garlic butter. Best we stick to them.

Hands down best plate of seafood I've eaten since we've moved to Florida. Came here based off some yelp reviews... I was getting my nails done in St Pete and thought I would stop. It's a hidden gem!!! I ordered the #17, which was supposed to have sausage, a crab cluster, and potatoes. I got multiple clusters, shrimp, and potatoes but I'm not even mad the order was incorrect. It. Is. So. Good!!! The sauce is super spicy, but I didn't even care. The man behind the counter could tell I was new. He was so friendly, showed me my plate before bagging it up and made small talk about the town we're living in. Sent a pic of my plate to my boyfriend and he was super jealous!!!!! Definitely will be coming back!

Amazing crab, good hole in the wall spot. Service was nice and the snow crab cluster was so good we came back again the next day.

You order at the food truck, grab a picnic table under the trees, and wait while everything is cooked fresh. The sign says, "Be patient. Be kind." Trust me, it's worth both. The smoked wahoo dip disappeared embarrassingly fast. Creamy, smoky, and packed with flavor. The blackened grouper sandwich was the star of the show. Perfectly seasoned, flaky, moist, and piled high on toasted bread with fresh toppings. The soft shell crab sandwich was crispy, sweet, and one of those meals that requires extra napkins and zero shame. Even the roasted broccoli was charred just right. Come for the seafood. Stay for the quirky atmosphere. Leave wondering why you've waited so long to eat here.

Their Fried Wahoo is also well-prepared. We got fried, and it was tender and fresh. Both fish came with a heaping serving of hot crispy fries. You could also get either fish blackened, and you could add various veggies as sides. We ordered our food and also picked it up ourselves at the bar. Hookin' can get crowded, especially when they have a live musician, and parking can get pretty tight. It's just off I-275 at 22nd St, in St. Pete Fl east of Gulfport. They keep their social media pretty up-to-date, but we didn't track down a "regular" webpage.
