Great vibes, good service. Good place to have seafood. Oysters were amazing, the fried cheekys grouper bites were tasty but I prefer fresh fish and not fried. The key lime pie was the best!!!!

Food was excellent! Shrimp was delicious. Another night had the lobster roll, had excellent flavor. The only thing I didn't like was the coleslaw. Only flavor it had was from celery seed. Service was superb! Ambiance was great, had a millennial vibe! Would definitely go back!

A new addition to the downtown St. Pete area I was excited to try. We stopped in on a Sunday late afternoon to catch the tail end of their lunch happy hour special. The space is wide open with a ton of tables and bar area with a few picnic tables out front. Metered parking also out front with a couple free spots in the back. The food was pretty good. Especially for happy hour. The oysters and cornbread hush puppies especially. $1.50 an oyster with a great selection to choose from. The hush puppies came with a delicious guava jelly and butter that accompanied them well. The fish dip was okay. Pretty fishy for my liking. The smash burger was also okay. I did love the excessive amount of caramelized onions. And the fries were cooked to a crisp perfection. Unfortunately the service was underwhelming given it took our server 5 minutes to even acknowledge and greet us and that's because she was chatting with her friends a couple of tables down from us. Our food did come out fairly quickly but the table service could use some more attention.

Visited Cheeky's for lunch and was immediately told I could sit wherever I liked. I sat near the window to enjoy the nice breezy day as Cheeky's is an open door restaurant. My server was nice. I ordered the fried grouper lunch special with the homemade chips. My order came out hot and fresh. The grouper tasted like grease was old but other wise it was ok. The handmade chips were delicious. I bagged the rest I didn't eat and took them home for a snack later.

Such a cute spot on central with delicious fun drinks, and food including oysters; my favorite!! They also have an amazing happy hour daily that includes a ton of great food options.

Everything was absolutely amazing!! We had such a great time here from start to finish. The lobster roll was one of the best we've ever had, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The frozen cocktails were delicious and such a fun treat, definitely a must-try. The whole ambiance of the restaurant is really nice, very fresh and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy good food and drinks. A special shoutout to Lisa, our server, who truly went above and beyond. She was so friendly, attentive, and ready with the best recommendations that made our experience even better. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure her guests have a wonderful time. We'll definitely be coming back soon!

This place is so cute and the food is great! The hushpuppies were amazing and the lobster roll was very good and the fries were crispy.

If you go, go on a cool day. Did not realize the place did not have any air-conditioning and we were there on a day with a heat advisory. Just brutal! Will caution this is only a partial review as it was just not enjoyable to get food with it being that hot so we just had drinks. We had two drinks. Both seemed to be a little pricey compared to other places in DTSP. Bartender was not very friendly and seemed like he didn't want to be there. We were really wanting to like this place but too many strikes against it on this day. We may try back in the future.

I love seafood! I get stone crab every season. I got the stone crab at Cheeky's - so juicy and fresh. It tasted good with the horseradish sauce. I also had a shrimp poboy. The shrimp were very plump. The only thing is the AC wasn't working well when I went. The restaurant was humid as the windows were all open.

Parking is at a premium, so plan accordingly - or bring a scooter. When we arrived, the place was absolutely packed, which usually bodes well for food but less so for service. It took a while to get our drinks, and when my Diet Coke finally came, it arrived in a warm can. Unfortunately, the glasses were too small to accommodate a full 12 oz pour, and the ice gave up immediately in the Florida heat. Lukewarm soda: not the vibe. Now, onto the food: Grouper Cheeks for the appetizer - these were the highlight. Lightly battered, perfectly crispy, and cooked to perfection. The remoulade leaned more mayo than expected, and the slaw it sat on was a little warm--oddly tucked beneath the cheeks like a mattress instead of on the side. Blackened Red Grouper Sandwich - A solid option. Served on a soft potato bun with pickled onion and a "special sauce" that tasted familiar in a good way. The fries? That's a personality test. These were ultra-crispy--great if you're into that, not so great if you prefer them a little tender. Fried Oyster Burger - Decadent and a little over the top in all the right ways. A cheddar smashburger meets fried oysters with garlic mayo and bibb lettuce on a sesame bun. It's a beast of a sandwich, and worth the indulgence. Service was friendly but slow. Our waitress was sweet but had a bit of a vendetta against our fries--tried to take them twice before actually succeeding the third time, mid-chew. Overall, Cheeky's has charm and a solid menu, but the experience was uneven. Great for seafood lovers and fry debaters--just don't get too attached to your side of potatoes.

Went to Cheeky's for a casual anniversary dinner and we were really impressed. The service was amazing and so friendly, they truly make you feel like family. We got there during happy hour, so the full menu wasn't available, but everything we ordered was fantastic. We had the Low Tide seafood tower and wow, so fresh and flavorful. We also tried the wings and fries, and everything was delicious. Can't wait to come back for dinner and try even more!

Came for dinner after a beach day and the vibes were absolutely perfect. Excellent service, food, and overall atmosphere. We split the middle tier oysters and a lobster roll, both 10/10. It was trivia night as well which made the overall energy even better! My only note is that though this restaurant may appear like its indoors, its really an enclosed patio so be prepared to be a little warm though the fans really help. I am looking forward to returning to St Pete to dine here again! It's about time downtown got a yummy casual seafood place.

I got off the bus and walked across the street and into the parking lot. It was fairly busy, and I made my way to the patio area, because outside seating only. There was a kind of tiki bar with a line where you go up and get your own alcoholic beverage any time you want. You can eat at the bar or at any of the picnic tables that you pass on the way to a kind of food truck with a window where you order your food and buy bottles of soda and iced tea from a vat full of ice. I loved the vibes right away. I got in line at the "truck". Then it was my turn to order. Well, whaddaya know, they just ran out of blue crabs! And no soft-shell crabs were available as the water they live in is not warm enough yet. But they did have one of my favorite seafood delicacies, stone crab claws, so I ordered those instead, and asked for the mustard sauce instead of melted butter. I also ordered French fries and cole slaw for my sides. And then I ordered one-half dozen raw oysters, because. I was given a little wire stand with a card inserted into the top with my order number on it, to be placed on my table. Then I sauntered over to the bar and ordered an IPA from the busy, bearded and well-tattooed bartender. If you are wearing shades you will be admonished to remove them before paying, and I saw why, as the display on the... pay thingy has excessive polarization. Next I found a good spot in the shade and sipped my beer and checked the place out. Was there music? I think so, but I can't remember! Just all kinds of folks having a good time. Two preschoolers were busily playing in the sand by the main walkway to the food line, and took up most of the path most of the time, but nobody seemed to mind. If you aren't into playing with little trucks in the sand I think there is also corn hole off in one corner. If you don't know what that is, I dare you to look it up. After not too long some plates of food showed up, and I took some pictures and then got busy. First I tried the fries, because they are best when fresh and hot, but the fries were limp and sad. I just let their little ol' hand-cut selves alone. The oysters were served on the half shell on ice, and came with nice hot grated horseradish and cocktail sauce, plenty of lemon wedges, and saltine crackers. They were excellent! Then I turned my attention to the claws, glorious stone crab claws. I noticed that I was given butter instead of mustard sauce. That didn't stop me. But what did slow me down was the lack of a claw-cracker. The claws were pre-cracked a bit, but not in a way that was helpful to get at the meat. And I need leverage to rip the joints apart as my fingers don't work like they used to, so I asked for, and received quickly, a cracker. Some of the claws were on the small side, and the meat in some of the claws was a bit soft-feeling, but it was all pretty tasty. However, they fell short of my previous experiences elsewhere, including when I cooked some at home a few years ago. The cole slaw was very good. The young guy who brought my food and cracker tool was friendly, and quite funny. The woman who took my order was also nice. The bartender was just to busy to be anything but awesome. So all in all, the food was a bit of a letdown. I will try to go back for the crabs, and I saw hush puppies in a photo, that would be better than the fries.
