We had to try the new Barbie collab donuts at Krispie Kreme and the were just too cute. The lady at the front help explained the flavors and fillings of the donuts the pink icing was like a cotton candy, the pink and purple with the Barbie stamp was like a berry poptart flavor. And the Malibu beach house had like a birthday cake filling. They were good but definitely the filling ones were overly sweet. read more

I just got a dozen of the original glazed this morning and was shocked. The light was ON and I was expecting the donuts here to taste like all of the other ones I've had at other locations but they didn't. The taste was off like an ingredient was left out (didnt have that buttery taste) and they were even different sizes. Ordered a dozen glazed and two chocolate iced crème filled. The glazed were all very different sixes, which I've never seen before at any store and I've lived all over have country. Most were very small. Taste fine. Chocolate iced would have been a better description when there is less than an inch of kreme filling. read more

Very disappointed! Stopped by several times when the Hot light was on. Told the belt was down and will be fixed and ready the next day. Each time I stopped the belt still broken and Hot light on. I went though drive though it took while to get a response. When I did get a response the gentleman seemed to be upset and not welcoming which is not a problem but then when I get the donuts you could tell someone stuck a finger in the donut. I normally would have continued to eat owning it up to a simple mistake but between the service and the finger holes I won't be back for a while. Hopefully they get it together because I grew up around here an I wouldn't mind a good donut from the Krispy Kreme. This particular location is giving a bad name to the company. My husband loves Krispy Kreme's so we stop here occasionally. The "Hot" light was on so we felt lucky. There were 3 people in front of us at 1:30 pm. We ended up being there 20 minutes. The poor guy in front of us ordered 13 dozen donuts at 8 am this morning for pick up and here it was 4 hours later and they weren't ready for him. Service was sooooo slow. Love krispy kreme down, but the other day when I ordered my 2 dozen my boxes smelled like cigarettes, a very heavy cigarette smell. So bad I had to throw them out with half my donuts left! I've always been a fan of their glazed donuts. Especially when they are fresh and hot. They melt in your mouth. My most recent visit was for the Strawberry Iced donut, but I also ended up getting the Reese's Outrageous one because it was calling my name. They have 3 different Reese's donuts. I'm bound and determined to try the other 2 next time. Here are the descriptions from the menu. Classic Reese's Doughnut: A shell doughnut filled with Reese's Peanut Butter Kreme™, dipped in Hershey's chocolate icing, topped with mini peanut butter chips and a drizzle of Reese's chocolate and peanut butter sauce. Reese's Outrageous Doughnut: A chocolate yeast ring, dipped in Hershey's chocolate icing, topped with Mini Reese's pieces and a drizzle of salted caramel and Reese's peanut butter icing. Reese's Original Filled Chocolate Lovers Doughnut: A chocolate yeast ring filled with Reese's Peanut Butter Kreme™, dipped in Hershey's chocolate icing and decorated with Reese's peanut butter icing. So, I found the Reese's Outrageous donut interesting. The chocolate yeast ring was not very memorable. I'd prefer to have all of the same toppings on a regular glazed donut. Just being honest. I think my favorite was the Strawberry Iced with sprinkles. That one really hit that sweet spot. I do want to try the other Reese's variations. I think maybe the Classic Reese's one would be better. The drive-thru service was great. The staff were friendly and informative. I love that they put your donuts in a flat box versus being thrown into a bag. I hate when other donut shops do that, because the donuts stick together and make horrible pictures. This is a smaller Krispy Kreme location. The drive-thru is behind the old strip mall. I'm definitely agreeing with the person who posted their review of this location 6 hours before I did... We got half glazed, half specialty doughnuts, and the glazed were hot and fresh... However, the specialty donuts were super stale. I mean you could look at them and tell before even touching or tasting them! If you look at the pictures I posted, you can tell that they look a little wrinkly. On top of that, they were out of pretty much every variety... No raspberry filled, no strawberry, no chocolate filled glazed, no powdered or cake type donuts, and none of the limited edition pumpkin spice varieties either! Just ok. I have a huge sweet tooth and recently had Krispy Kreme in Lakeland. I took a survey on the receipt which gave me a code for a BOGO dozen upon the next visit. We don't live close to any locations so when we were in Brandon, I went out of my way to stop by this establishment. It is a very small storefront and despite having the HOT NOW light on, the service was extreeemely slow. I got all glazed donuts and unfortunately it was too sweet- even for me. I needed to wipe a lot of the glaze off before enjoying a second. I live about an hour away so I won't be rushing back to this location. read more

I went to purchase a box of the holiday themed donuts by the dozen. They are one of the only things that my son likes for Christmas. I was there on December 24th 2022 in the morning. I was told by the lady at the counter that there were no themed donuts. I proceeded to ask if they could be ordered for the following day for pick up? And was told that there would not be any the next day either. I proceeded to ask to speak with the manager... The manager walked up to the counter Never identified herself and proceeded to tell me that they don't have anything and that the only location that might possibly have them was in Lakeland. That REALLY upset me. Sand wasn't very helpful either saying that there was some sort of problem that was beyond their control but never offered to assist me in any other way or even ask if I wanted any of the donuts that they had on hand I thought that was bad for business but whatever I just proceeded to turn around and leave but it was very upsetting to have received an email saying that the donuts would be in stock up until Christmas Eve and then when you go to purchase them there are none. This is the worst location we've ever been to. The hot light was on, but we got warmed stale donuts with about 3x the normal amount of icing piled on top of them. They were awful, obviously from a previous day, not fresh at all, and coated in too many layers of gloppy glaze. The other kinds of donuts were fine, but the glazed were so disappointing. Slow unreliable service as the employees hang out all in the back. No one is up front at the counter to take your order and the donut display case only had 4 donuts in it. 15 to 20 minute wait time for fresh hot donuts but when they are done they are not hot. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but please explain how we went here and on the door there's a sign saying there are no strawberry glazed donuts. This is something running from Sept 1-4, once a year, and 4 days only. This sounds to me like bad management all the way! So I proceed and also try purchasing the new for a limited time, "Pumpkin spice donut". Guess what?? There weren't any at all either. As a matter of fact they had none of their 20+ flavors available. I went in on Veterans Day to get my free small coffee and free donut! This was my first visit in! The shop is quite small and on the end of a strip mall. It was the end of the day and they still had a good variety of donuts left. The staff were friendly and quickly provided me with my order. My coffee was okay. The donut chosen was just the signature glazed donut. It was airy and light and delicious!!!! Still fresh at the end of the day! One small issue, there were very small ants crawling around by the coffee creamers, sugars and stir rods (trash can located there too). Hope this gets fixed! read more

Under normal circumstances I'd give Krispy Kreme 4 or 5 stars but on a day like today when you KNOW you run the 12/12 promotion on 12/12 EVERY YEAR, Why on EARTH would you NOT be prepared?! We went to 2 locations and were told the same thing, "we're out of Glazed donuts for at least 2 hours"... WHAT?! For those who don't know what I'm talking about, the significance of 12/12 is the Dozen. A dozen glazed at the regular price and a dozen for $1. Knowing the turnout that they have every year, one would think they'd be prepared for the huge rush they'd get ALL DAY LONG! Nope, not at any of the locations we've been to. The one on W. Brandon Blvd is actually waiting for donuts to be delivered from Florida Avenue so they can make some, however Florida Avenue is out also. So disappointing. I have family in from a state that no longer has any crispy creams. It took them so long to convince me to be willing to drive from SARASOTA to Brandon. An hour drive away. I finally did to come to the Krispy Kreme to find out that they were out of donuts and be treated extremely rudely. This was my first time at Krispy Kreme in over 10 years and I was drawn in by the Ghirardelli doughnut I heard about. Here's how it went: I was waiting in line when Chad came from the back and asked me what he could help me with (in a dry tone while looking disheveled and exhausted). I told him that i wanted one of the Ghirardelli doughnuts and he rolled his eyes and asked "which one?" Feeling like I must look like an idiot and not knowing there was more than one tasty option I asked what kind there were. He pointed to the case and responded with "they're in there".
