The only good thing about this Krispy Kreme was the greeter person who served us. He was kind and pleasant. The donut was small and was cold. There were no hot ones available. He did give us a discount because we asked for a hot one and he could not deliver. We usually love Krispy Kreme but this one was underwhelming because of the small donuts and they were very overpriced. 2.59 each and half the size of the usual ones. I saw the two star reviews on this location but decided to give it a shot anyway. Sorry that I did. The customer service was worse than horrible. It took several tries to find something that they weren't out of. We went through the drive through. The staff person who took our order took forever to acknowledge that we were at the window to pay. She leaned on the cash register during the entire transition as if we were bothering her. She never smiled or said thank you. My husband picked up doughnuts here yesterday morning. I don't think I've ever had worse doughnuts in my life. They were very dry, tasteless and extremely stale. I can't believe he paid $20 for them and that was with the second dozen for $2. I could get better doughnuts virtually anywhere and that includes gas stations and the powdered doughnuts from vending machines that are a month old . We threw away 22 1/2 of the 24 he bought. The dogs wouldn't even eat them. We will never buy doughnuts there again. They were never great before but this time they weren't even l edible. read more

Just going through phone to post pictures for reviews that I didn't make. These pictures are from July 14, 2017. We were new to this area and didn't know a Krispy Kreme was close by. This location does not make the donuts, they only add to them. The one in Casey bakes them and sends them on a truck to this location. I remember this day because they had a special promo on donuts that day. The manager was loud and she sounded like a commander yelling out to her platoon when she spoke up to the customers, because they ran out of donuts and were waiting on the truck. The place itself was needed cleaning and we out of several donuts. Trash was on the floor and water was leaking from the ceiling vents. Bad thing you can't post videos because I made a short one of this location. Not sure if they cleaned up their act, but I hope they did. Krispy Kreme may need to consider making a new location that makes the donuts. Please see pictures for more information. read more

Went through drive through at 8:45 pm. I wanted four original glazed donuts. I was informed the ONLY donuts available were the mini original glazed donuts. How can you be out of donuts when you close at 10 pm and the donuts are made in the store? Sounds like to me the employees just didn't want to make more donuts. I'm not a huge donut fan to begin with, which is why I didn't come here for any donuts. I came for the iced caramel mocha coffee which is my new favorite coffee ever. I went through the drive thru, and sat there for a good solid 20 minutes. Finally ordered, and continued to sit there. When I finally did pull up to the window, they thought I ordered 2 dozen donuts and didn't even have my order in their system. They had to retake my order, and then I had to sit there longer while they made it. And this is probably why I sat in the line for so long. They clearly do not have an efficient way of taking drive thru orders, or they just don't care. My coffee was delicious though, which is my reason for the second star. Arrived at the drive thru about 7:50 am and it took 20 mins just to get through it! The dozen donuts are about $1 more than Dunkin Donuts but so worth it! The dough is soft and very flavorful. 1 star knocked off for the speediness of the drive thru. I'll have to go inside and order a dozen again and see how it is. read more

This location never has enough of the speciality donuts, especially on the weekends. If you walk in past 10:00 am on a Sunday morning, you are taking your chances on getting anything you want. I understand they don't have the equipment to make speciality donuts on their own, maybe corporate should consider investing in that equipment or increasing the supply for Sundays since this is an every weekend problem. read more

I've been to other Krispy Kreme locations and have not experienced any issues with their customer service, but this particular location put a bad taste in my mouth, figuratively and literally. My boyfriend and I waited in line to order doughnuts and coffee, for almost 10 minutes. Mind you, there were only two people in front of us. One of the young ladies working at the counter was clearly bothered and seemed to not want to be there, as she was bickering with another employee IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS and refusing to actually prepare drinks. After waiting another 8 minutes, she finally decides to make our drinks. When we finally get our food and head & leave, we are practically back home when I realize our drinks are lukewarm and taste like milk with a 1/2 teaspoon of espresso. Basically, it was not a latte. I called to speak to a manager and explained what happened, and his initial response was one of absolute denial. He said that they don't have control over the temperature and it just "comes out that way." Really? I drove back, asked for two other drinks instead, and what do you know?! Their hot! Hot! Krispy Kreme on Clemson Road! Yeah! Unlike other Krispy Kreme stores, this Krispy Kreme is NOT a stand-alone building. It is a bit tiny with very few parkings and narrow drive-through. When the other stores in the same complex get occupied, it will be even more congested. Fresh donuts always melt in your mouth, including those from this store. If you could, walk in the store to order your donuts so that you can make sure your donuts are really fresh. The staff is enthusiastic. I hope they will keep it up. read more

They had a smaller selection than what I'm used to and the donuts weren't that good. The hot sign was on which always attract me. But the donuts on the conveyor were Luke warm and tasted old. Also they were short on icing on the donut with the icing tasting a bit chalky and not mixed right. Don't go here!!!On 9/6 at 9:55pm my daughter and I went into the store on Clemson rd in Columbia,SC. When we walked in a young lady helped proceeded to help us. Didn't speak, offer anything, or nothing. Before telling her what I wanted, I asked her can I use a coupon that was in my app(buy any dozen get one original glazed for free). She stopped and didn't say anything just looked confused. She then turned for help and another girl who didn't speak came over. I asked her about the coupon and showed her my phone. She said "oh yeah that's fine" then stopped and looked at me until I started to tell her my order. She then gave the box to the first young lady that was helping me and walked away. After I finished giving her my order, my doughnuts were set on the counter by drive thru and everyone was doing their own thing. Did I mention it was 4 people working and only me and my daughter in the store. We waited for 3 mins then Alexis from drive thru yelled my total from drive thru. I asked her about the coupon and showed her my phone. She took my phone with her to drive thru while she proceeded to take someone order at drive thru. She seemed bothered to help me and the customer at drive thru. After taking their order she finally scanned my phone, came back gave it to me, and walked away. Then the First Lady that helped us in the beginning came to the counter and started bagging the doughnuts. I thought everything was good until Matthew came to the counter and looked at me crazy. Didn't introduce himself or anything. I said "I guess you need to see the coupons too" He said yes. He looks at the coupon and says "this is for today until" I said until what then he changes and daily it's expired. I said well I wish the first 3 people would've told me that he said Yea and walked away. I said well take the original off. He tells the drive they girl to take it off and walked away. She asked him to void it. He voided the item came back got my card, processed my payment, and gave me my card. Still did not apologize. I asked for his name and corporate number. He said why. Told him service was horrible and the first girl should've told me I couldn't use coupon. He said oh she new and would you like me to show you again that it's expired. Absolutely HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! He should Not be supervisor. He is a terrible person to represent your company!!
