Hot Sign!!! Our youngest son who's 8 had never been to Krispy Kreme so we literally pulled a U-Turn since the hot sign was on. Soon as we walked in we were greeted with hot glazed donuts for free!! We ended up getting some of our favorites, chocolate glazed, regular glazed, strawberry glazed with sprinkles, and cream filled with chocolate glaze! We ate them over the next day or so. The donuts are phenomenal !! always fresh and usually hot (original glazed). Ridiculous price per dozen unless they are running a special or you can find a coupon, then the price is reasonable. Service = I have the app and always try to order in advance. What's the point though, they RARELY have my order ready when I arrive and many times my order ticket is on the floor when I arrive which explains why my order isn't ready. Reliability and communication = Last week I attempted to place an online order for pickup but my order wouldn't process. So I called the store and spoke to a young lady who explained that their machine had broken down that morning which was the reason for my order not processing. I asked if the machine was fixed now and she said yes, but they had not updated the app. So I drove two cities over to find out upon arrival that they were closed due to the machine not working. I specifically asked on the phone before leaving if they were back open and was told yes........not true. The yesterday, I was in the area and decided to stop by only to find a note on the window that they had closed at 6pm for remodeling. Nothing is listed on the website, nothing stating when they will reopen. Very aggravating and frustrating and quite disappointing with the lack of communication from both their app and website. read more

This is one of our favorite vacation traditions. I drove 14 miles round trip this morning to get our favorite donuts, and the main shop was closed, for some reason, and they were operating out of a food truck in the parking lot. A sign on the truck said "no cash--credit and debit cards only". Okay, no problem. But when I got up to the window, they said they were only taking on-line orders. I had left my phone on the charger in the room, and didn't have a computer in the car, so I couldn't place an on-line order, nor could I call another family member to ask them to place the order. Very disappointed, but on the bright side, I saved my $20 and picked up donuts at Publix, which were actually better than KK donuts, and a lot cheaper! They may have lost my business forever, especially since they have now decided that our favorite flavor (and one of their most popular items)--the blueberry cake donut--is now a "seasonal" item. OG KK for the win! Got lucky and arrived when the Hot sign was on, yay! Bday tip- sign up on the app ahead of your bday and receive a bday reward for a free donut and coffee. My loved one got the free donut deal for their bday and received fantastic service from the owner (think he was the owner pictured in the photo!) Service was fast, ambience is VERY old school KK or diner like so don't expect much and worked perfect for me, the donuts were super fresh melt in your mouth and stayed fresh for 16 hours! Parking was easy on a weekday morning. Highly recommend this location. You can never go wrong in my opinion, with a HOT NOW DOUGHNUT from Krispy Kreme. Straight off the conveyor belt, and into the box. Still hot and gooey. Service was fast, the building was one of the very first ones built, so it had some age on it. But it was very clean, and well maintained inside. read more

There are lots and lots of great donuts in this world but I must admit when it comes to eating "hot donuts" I'm not sure if there are any better than Krispy Kreme - there is something about the simple plain glazed donuts coming down the conveyor belt here at the corner of Nova and ISB that I can't resist. I mostly try and ignore this location and if it wasn't for that damn flashing "hot now" sign blinking on and off twenty-five feet off the intersection I'd succeed most of the time. So now to combat your willpower they created a "Hot Light App" that notifies you when the store has churned out a new batch of piping hot donuts, that is just wrong but I like it. I don't care about the service here or the professionalism of the staff I come here for the hot donuts period. A microwave oven can't bring back to life that box of stale Krispy Kreme's you'll find at the grocery store or corner market it's just not possible. So I'm out of town in Palm Coast Florida and guess who has to find a KK just to try the limited edition blueberry glaze....me! The closest KK I found was in Daytona. The actual restaurant is hard to get to if you are coming off the main drag. My GPS took me a crazy way but I was able to navigate there. The parking lot is tiny. You know the actual restaurant is tiny. They have about 4 tables and enough space to form a line. My visit was late at night and the famous Hot Sign was on! I order 2 dozen glazed to share with my construction crew (they devoured them the next morning, so I'm guessing they were delicious) and I got a 3 pack for myself (2 blueberry glaze and 1 cinnamon bun doughnut). I wasn't impressed with the flavor of the blueberry glaze. It was very artificial. It tasted slightly like blueberry but didn't wow me like some of the other limited edition glaze flavors. By the time I ate the cinnamon bun doughnut the next evening the outer edge was a little tough but the center was still soft and moist. I enjoyed the flavor of this doughnut more. The service was kool. The cashier was helpful and worked fast to get the doughnuts off the line. The other employee that was inside was dealing with cleaning up a mess from another customer and had a good attitude about it. If I'm back in the area I would come back if I needed my KK fix!!! This corner location is a bit difficult to navigate...i had to make a left turn, then a u-ey, to get into the parking lot. Despite that, I was excited to try some new flavors. This time I got the Easter decorated peanut butter, a powdered strawberry jelly, an apple cinnamon, a sugar raised and a glazed (can't pass that up) and a chocolate custard. How can you not love Krispy Kreme doughnuts!? I always wanted to go an actual Krispy Kreme location, and my dream finally came true! Although this location is a little awkward and parking can be tricky, the donuts make up for it! With such a wide variety of donut flavors, I had trouble deciding which one to buy. We ended up getting half a dozen with a mix of sprinkled, filled, blueberry, etc. All of the donuts were very fresh and warm, making it hard to only eat a couple! The best part: you can actually watch them make the donuts behind the counter. It was really neat to watch the whole process! Stop by this location next time you're in Florida! Although I was the first one in the door four others were helped as they entered. Doughnut and coffee, how hard could it be. Then when Aleyah figures it out she apologized but again no customer service. Hint, that's when you offer a percentage off or a doughnut, just something to recognize you care and mistakes happen.
