Customer service was absent. We stood at the donut counter for 13 mins waiting to get donuts. There was a line to the door. At no point did anyone speak to any of us in line. Incompetent employees run an unclean store. Four couples entered from different doors. After nine people formed a line to purchase their donuts where there had been NO customers stood. The only person accepting orders decided to that the paying customers could wait 10 minutes while she removed each identifying tags from the case she could take one and only one customer at a time after 12 minutes. Five people left rather wait for at least the estimated 20 minutes wait in a dirty bakery without a single napkin to be accessible to a customer. Of course, she intentionally got the nearly $6 (3 donut) order wrong! The bakery was not busy and the employees were entertaining themselves. The 4 star is for the people that were working that day. It was during their birthday celebration that we ordered a dozen doughnuts and got a dozen free. With COVID going on, you could only order online and pickup outside the door or go through the drive thru. When we arrived, the drive thru was packed. I went up to the door. They didn't have one of the doughnuts that I ordered so they had to replace one with another when I got there. Thought maybe they could have text me before arriving to let me know so I didn't have to wait so long. Now I've had their doughnuts many times and I like the cream, raspberry, custard, and lemon flavored ones. I was highly disappointed that there was very little filling in any of them. Where did the filling go? I've had them stuffed with filling before. Not this time. Now back to the workers that day. Amazing. As busy as they were, they were on top of it all. Orders piled inside and they were quick to get them out the door. Except for me having to have a doughnut replaced. But it was still pretty quick considering that. I know I will be back again. My experience was awful. I got up very early in the morning to grab donuts for an event. Mind you that they open at 6 AM every morning I got there around 7:15 all doors were fully locked. It may have been 2 workers inside just standing around and one outside smoking in his car. Service would have been awful if I were able to get in at all. An hour and 15 minutes is more than enough time to get the place up and running, why they weren't is a great question. At least change your hours on your website to when you actually open your doors so people don't waste their gas or time, because I know I will not be getting either back. read more

Went in to grab some doughnuts for my husbands birthday today. All of the workers were very rude and disrespectful. The young woman that boxed my doughnuts kept making hand gestures at me to hurry up on my selection of doughnuts. I was the only one in line the whole time I was there. Each doughnut looks like it has been sitting out for days. When I got home and looked at them all of the stuffed ones have giant holes in them and are smashed. After waiting in a long drive-thru line with my three small kids, the employee told me that they couldn't serve me in the drive thru. They explained that the person in front of me was the last one allowed, and that I had to come inside. They didn't give me an explanation. To clarify, it was 3:45 in the afternoon, so the store wasn't closing. Sadly, I couldn't come inside. I had my three kids in the minivan, and they didn't have masks. They still refused to serve me in the drive-thru. My kids were excited about donuts, but I couldn't order them. Not a great experience here. We stopped in because the light was on!....which has always been know for "get a free hot classic donut off the conveyor belt. Apparently not anymore. :( We walked in and stared at the delicious, fresh steamy donuts getting glazed only to have our hopes and dreams crushed by the fact that you don't get a fresh hot one, you get a cold, not-so-fresh donut knot thingy. (Super small) Here's where it gets frustrating....we struggled to get an employees' attention and finally someone came over and we asked politely for a free donut since the light was on. The guy said "Yeah we dont do those donuts anymore, we hand out these ones" and showed us the little knot donut and put it back and asked us what donuts we wanted to purchase. My husband and I kind of blankly looked at each other as to what just happened, but proceeded to pick out 1/2 dozen donuts. We checked out and were also told a different price from employee to employee. Regardless, we bought them and asked the cashier for the free donuts, only to be redirected to the guy who boxed our donuts in the first place. Well that guy was off by the drive thru window chatting it up with two other employees, so my husband called out to get his attention once more. He wasn't facing us but the other two employees were, but just looked us as we stared back. It was awkward. The vibe there was obvious: no employee wanted to be there or help anyone; even a paid customer. He finally came back over after he was done chatting and we politely asked again for a free donut since the light was on. He gave my husband one and I stared at him waiting for one too, so he then asked if I wanted one and I said "yes please" and we both finally got what we had originally came for. WHEW. Bad service. We stopped in for a coffee and a 3 pack of doughnuts. First of all, when you walk in & view the doughnut making you can clearly see it needs to be cleaned! There's so much dough & gunk all over the machines it's gross. We should have walked out right then. We ordered a 3 pack with an original, a raspberry filled and a Boston cream. The Boston cream was RAW! It wasn't cooked enough. I'm not going to try the raspberry filled, it'll be raw too. The worst experience is my husband's coffee. He got to the bottom of the cup & got a mouthful of grounds. Maybe if the employees there weren't on their phone's, with earbuds on & talking with each other they could actually do their job correctly. As you roll past the window disappointed you hear thumping speakers as the workers throw what looks to be an impromptu party. Oh Krispy. We miss you in Chicago, with your HOT NOW donuts dripping with delicious, sweet glaze. There is absolutely nothing like getting a hot donut right off the assembly line. They literally melt in your mouth. They're my favorite, and despite having a plethora of stuffed, covered and topped varieties, the plain glazed still stand out as the best of the best in my opinion. The folks are always friendly, and they can help you in the drive-thru or if you come in, but if you pop in when the HOT sign is lit up outside, they give you free samples right off the conveyor belt. Stopped in last night for 2 dozen to bring to work today. The service was better for me than others have described, but the "filled" doughnuts didn't have any filling. Many of the other donuts were very inconsistent in size, some barely had any frosting, etc. I realize not every doughnut is going to be exactly the same, but Krispy Kreme is known for producing a consistent product and the execution of that is seriously lacking. The donut tasted great, but the service was undesirable. Everyone was moving around extremely slowly and apathetically. I could totally understand if the place was busy, and be more than willing to give grace for having to wait, but everyone was just standing around? No customers were there. Despite this about ten of twelve employees were just sitting around on at the side of the store laughing and chatting it up while no customers were served. Went through the drive through here today and the lady working was not only rude she was a straight up asshole. Even after her rude service my wife gave her a pleasant "thank you" and she replied "yup". Is there any training required to work at Krispy Kreme and interact with customers? Walked in about 5 min before closing which I realize isn't the greatest and I would've had no problem just leaving peacefully and go on with my night. One of the few of these around. In my opinion, Krispy Kreme started to dilute their brand by placing product in gas stations next to the coffee and who knows how old hotdogs. What makes this place great is the experience of being out and about and seeing that red light on triggering you to go grab a fresh outta the frier, melt in your mouth donut, or two or three or a dozen. It's cool to watch the donuts come down the assembly line. The coffee is pretty good too. I am a fan of Starbucks, but if I'm at KK their coffee is the perfect compliment and the dark roast is plenty strong (taste the bean baby). This place is one of those treats that I have to actively resist. I try to keep visits down to a minimum and only when the hot and fresh light is on....at least I try to. A giant ball of dough in the gut is no good, but in moderation it's one of the pleasures of life. read more
