This Krispy Kreme gets 2 stars, but only because I love donuts. If it weren't for the donuts it would be 1 star. They seem perpetually understaffed, the building looks like it hasn't been updated in a century, I don't think I've ever seen the hot donuts sign on and they never, and I mean never have any real selection at all. The last time I was there they literally had no glazed original donuts. Unforgivable. That's like Starbucks not having any coffee, or McDonald's not having any burgers. Mind blowing. It's like they cook what they want to cook and when they run out everyone just has to eat raspberry filled or nothing. I'm actually a little bit offended by the whole thing. Listen up Krispy Kreme. We want the donuts. We want you to start stocking everything on the menu. If you're not going to be able to keep your flagship product, the original glazed donut in stock...then just close down. Black guy was EXTREMELY NICE... but he was cleaning TABLES with chemicals and a cleaning rag--- proceeds to drop it to assist the cashier and I am NOT SURE AT ALL if the blue glove he used at the register was changed to a NEW glove however he do NOT was his hands at all after cleaning the dining room to -- to ringing up customers and the proceeds to use the exact same ONE GLOVE (not to be mistaken for utilizing TWO GLOVES at all--- to picking up DONUTS with the same dirty gloves and placing them in boxes for customers INCLUDING my order. I was absolutely pissed and trying to be courteous but this is disgusting. The white guy in the back as well as the thicker black guy placing who stocking sodas all boxed donuts using a STRAW or white stick-like object. Great doughnuts, terrible service. Only reason I give this 3 stars and not 2 is because I love the doughnuts. I came here before 7 AM on a Sunday, and waited FORTY MINUTES in the drive thru. I realize it was Mother's Day but that morning but I was starving and wanted to make my wife super happy with her favorite doughnuts for breakfast-it's what she wanted! By the time I got to the window, they only had 3 of the 6 available that we wanted based on their online menu. The staff members were rude and the substitutes I picked out were a little stale and cold. I also wanted an iced coffee and they said they were only serving hot coffee, so I got my wife her mocha and I got a regular coffee instead. Both tasted like that old terrible, taste like pee coffee you have in a styrofoam cup at church. I've always been a Dunkin fan more anyway. My wife agreed we should go there more now. I am not going to comment on Krispy Kreme itself. Unless you are from another planet (or country), you've probably already established yourself as a lover or hater of these donuts. Personally, I love them and this location is pretty good. MOSTLY HITS, A FEW MISSES. For the most part I've had great experiences at this location. However, on the last occasion, the employee getting the donuts decided to use his hands and a piece of plastic wrapper to pick up the donuts and put them into the box. I don't want your hands on my donuts, the tongs are laying right next to you for a reason, so why don't you use them? NOT GLAZED RIGHT. On the recent occasion, I got a dozen original glazed and they did not have the usual glaze shine that they always do. I've asked what's going on, the cashier told me that they made the glaze too thick by mistake. Allright, I guess mistakes happen, but shouldn't you give customers a discount for your mistakes? I went in before work to get the new lemon glazed doughnuts. As I pulled up, I saw the Hot Now Light on, which I was pleasantly surprised because the hours listed on the website states the light hours start at 5pm for this location. Well it didn't benefit me because the lemon glazed were already boxed and they were definitely not hot!!! Oh and customer service is not that great, the cashier was not pleasant at all. I have been very disappointed in the service at this Krispy Kreme location. The worst experience I have ever had in my life. I placed an online order and arrived at the establishment 20 minutes later. Once at the drive through, i requested my online order, to which they told me it was going to be a 30 minute wait. I waited in my car for 20 minutes before heading inside to ask for the status of my order. I was greeted by a not so kind woman who informed me that they were not going to be making my order "anytime soon" and I was going to have to wait "a good long while" if i wanted to receive it. I asked politely for a refund and left the establishment. They were rude and did not provide me with any explanation as to why i was not receiving my order. If you don't happen to wait in line for thirty minutes because the staff is as slow as molasses in the winter, you'll be treated to them being out of 75% of their selection. A rider had coupons and asked me to stop by. No twisting of my arms needed since the Hot Sign was on. They just melted in my mouth! Had I not just been to the doctor and informed I had gained 4 pounds I might have sucked down the entire box. There aren't any donuts that can be compared to a hot Krispy Kreme donut. Krispy Kreme is my favorite place for original donuts thaht melt in your mouth. I was never a huge fan of donuts since growing up I was used to the dry ones from the Wal-mart bakery. I don't come that often since it is a little out of the way for me. Last time I came to a "Buy 1 get one dozen free" sale with dozens of people AND cars parked in the driveway. They do have indoor seating for you to enjoy your donuts there, but what I enjoy most is the assembly line of donuts being made! So fun to watch! read more

Decided to get out and go in to get a couple of doughnuts for breakfast because the line at the drive thru was pretty long. Hot & Ready sign not even lit up. Inside ended up not being better. Worse still several employees standing around waiting to work (presumably) instead of helping 1 employee at drive thru and 1 at front counter. Once someone else finally started to help the person in line behind me (of course) they didn't sound too pleased that they chose to start with him when he asked for 15 dozen. There's no note on the door that your shortstaffed, so please you know have patience or anything of that nature absolutely nothing saying that we're closed inside/drive thru only. This is not the first time that this has happened and wasn't always in a box truck. repeatedly lobby's been closed with no notes no addressing the need of being closed trying to go through the drive-through and at 5 PM and 8 PM several hours before due to clothes being out of donuts and not having the advertised flavor of the season if you will has been going on since I moved to this part of town and have tried to frequent this establishment since 2015. sometimes you just get in that donut mood. The only Krispy Kreme can quench yet can't do so because they can't seem to get it together and be there and open properly for their patrons. I was in my truck there were several people who had pulled up in regular vehicles, trying to get into the lobby as well and repeatedly trying to open the door with no sign no one coming to the door to say we're closed no one acknowledging the third even there. I understand being short staffed for whatever reason this day and age nobody seems to want to work or to be there for their shifts that they are scheduled for and if you see that this is a repeated problem and you can't keep the service that you should be able to provide especially mid evening, early evening hours before closing time, someone should be able to see that this is an issue. call it stupidity on my part for attempting several times over the years to give them another try but going forward I will not do such. I will have to drive the extra mile extra minutes whatever the case may be to bypass their location which is within 2 miles of my address to go elsewhere spend my money somewhere else that's it's appreciated can get the service that's needed and the products that's wanted. M I recently signed up for Kristy Kreme rewards and for the game day special by email. So, I went, excited to have some game day sweets. The first red flag was not the long Line in the drive through or the line inside, but what I witnessed as I waited. 3 very young teenagers running the place at a very slow pace, laughing, singing, acting like None of us are there. 2nd red flag: the sweet young girl behind me with a box of Krispy Kreme. I asked "was your order wrong?" She said "yes". They had just sat through that log line and had to come in to get what they payed for. I get there and show them my email with the deal and they fixed 2 boxes. One girl said "we out of footballs", I said ok and was thinking they at least put some chocolate donuts in there. They did all glazed. I asked are the footballs normally filled or just iced. They said "we said we don't have any." I was simply asking so I might ask for a few chocolates. She kept saying over me" we don't have any." I ended up just paying. 3rd red flag: the entire time I waiting, a family waited for specialty drinks (3 iced coffee drinks) and I ended up leaving before them. I teach middle school and it was as if 3 middle school kids with no professionalism were running the store. We were in their world and at their mercy. My second reason for going was to get an idea of service on a Saturday as I would be ordering donuts for a large wedding. Not sure I would ever trust this location and crew to make sure we have our order done correctly. I read other reviews before writing this one and realized that I am not alone. Called the store trying to figure out what time they have "Hot Now" doughnuts because the app never shows that the sign is on. All locations say they make them from 5-7pm so I called at 6:30pm to see if they had hot ones available. The employee said they didn't have hot doughnuts left for the day. I asked what time they usually make doughnuts each day and he said the time changes every day. I then said well what time will you make them tomorrow, and he wasn't sure. WTF. Stood in line and over heard the customer in front of us order regular glazed. When asked, we requested a dozen glazed and received just that. Such an inconvenience to tell us one thing in the drive thru and then be told different when we walk in. Maybe the 5 employees, standing around in the hallway with their hands in their pockets doing nothing, over-looked these reg glazed. This was the 2nd time I've had a bad experience so I had to post. Who doesn't LOVE a good donut!? I LOVE their chocolate covered cream fill donuts!! I live 30+ minutes from this location. I've been here several times, at different times is the day and night. I've read the other reviews, and I don't get it. I've never had a bad experience at this location. The staff is always friendly and welcoming to me, even (and especially) when I pop in shortly before closing time. My last visit was about 15 minutes before closing time. They could have been unhappy with me, but they weren't or at least they didn't let on if they were. The variety of donuts is always fun for me! My family, four of us in total, all like something different. On my last visit I had tons questions about some of the donuts, and the sweet fella helping me with my questions. He didn't rush me. He just politely answered my questions. I was impressed! So, please don't allow someone else's review keep you from checking them out yourself! I'll definitely be making another trip soon!!
