As far as food: Krispy Kreme delivers and I have no complaint there. There's service however? My husband and I come here Saturdays before my son's soccer practice and of the 4 employees we've dealt with, 3 of them were absolutely miserable. 1 older gentleman is lovely and so kind to everyone that walks in. The younger employees? You'd think we ruined their day by walking in. We still come back because the food is good and it is convenient in location for us. Also the pricing is very reasonable. Lastly, I have a complaint that I'm not sure is store specific or company specific. When watching the donuts being made, we noticed that any "irregular" donuts, that aren't shaped like perfect circles, seem to go straight into the trash. An employee is stationed towards the end of the conveyor belt and grabs the "perfect" donuts to place on trays while letting the others go straight into a black trash bag. I watched DOZENS go into the trash. I understand there's a "quality" expectation, however this seems super wasteful. I feel like either the store or company could do so much better. Offer "ugly donut" boxes at a discounted price or SOMETHING. There's plenty of schools, churches, and other groups that could benefit from the amount of trashed donuts we saw. read more

As much as I loved Krispy Kreme growing up this location has ruined it for me. From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted with sad faces and bored expressions, even when children walk in there is no smiling from the employees. The donuts are never fresh although the ones in the picture look beautiful you will break a tooth trying to bite into it from being so hard there is no way those were just made. The mangers are decent to speak with but they don't keep their word. I drove out there twice from the other side of town with the promise of a refund and fresher donuts and every time I would show up the managers (Josh and Joe) either left for the day or the staff would always state they can't do anything without a manager approval or note . So now it has been almost 3 weeks and still no refund or even a callback from the managers. I'm so disappointed in the Krispy Kreme company. read more

Literally one of my favorite donut shops if not my favorite. It's always consistently good, and the glazed donuts here are the best of all time when they're fresh off the conveyor belt. We passed this location when their sign was lit up indicating you get free glazed donuts, so we stopped by and all got one free glazed donut, and it hit the spot. I placed a Too Good To Go order at a different Krispy Kreme location and had a really uncomfortable interaction. The employee rang up an assorted dozen (which is an $18 value), brought out a box full of assorted donuts, then--without saying a word--swapped it out for a plain glazed dozen (a $14.99 value) and handed that to me instead. I called when I left and asked for a manager, I was told they didn't have one and another location manages them. When I asked which store manages their location so I could follow up, he refused to tell me, which felt super off. So I did my own research and called this location, which I suspected manages them--and I was right. I got on the phone with the manager here, and he was incredibly respectful, transparent, and helpful. He confirmed that: * Too Good To Go orders are supposed to be assorted * The other employee shouldn't have rung anything up at all * And I had absolutely been given the wrong thing. He immediately offered to make it right and said we could come to his store to get the correct assorted dozen. This is how customer service should be handled. This was probably the nicest Krispy Kreme I've been to. GF and I spent some time in San Antonio dining and shopping. On the way out of town we stopped for a quick bite before heading north. We were even greeted with a free glazed doughnut! IDK if this is something new but they were offering cinnamon rolls on Sundays. Had to try one of those; never even got to the blueberry I ordered. She only ordered an additional lemon cream filled. A heads up they cook those cinnamon rolls to order. It was worth the wait. Lady stays in the back and drops them in the oil and just like the glazed it goes through the famous waterfall of sugar. Took less than 5 minutes and OMG super tasty. I wonder if the Austin stores participate in this? Coffees were strong; every staffer was courteous. I actually exclaimed over the weekend how friendly everyone was in every business we visited. I love krispy kreme. These doughnuts are a family favorite. We usually go inside to order and pick out our doughnuts. However I placed a mobile order and had someone else pick it up for me, but it turned into a disaster. It seems the store ran out of some donuts and, instead of contacting me for approval, they made substitutions on their own. Unfortunately, they replaced them with cream-filled donuts, which my family doesn't eat, making them a complete waste for us. Yesterday, after curbside pickup, I stopped by @krispykreme in Stone Oak to buy some donuts. The store was temporarily closed, so the drive-thru was the only option. I think they were short staffed because there was a wait to take my order and a line quickly formed. The Hot sign was on so I got one free original glazed. I saw the Reese's donuts and had to give them a try. I ordered 2 Outrageous, which has Reese's pieces and 1 Salty Sweet Crisp. I had half of each this morning with my coffee, and they were good. Absolutely pathetic! This store has not reopened since the pandemic which as the world has largely returned to normal is just pure laziness! Our daughter wanted some of these for a birthday sleepover and we drive here to find line wrapped around the building- largely due to skeleton staff! The store is a disaster- trash cans outside overflowing with trash and racks just dumped all over the store rather than being open with tables available! Which I guess saves them cleaning. Went one day through the drive thru and this place had the worst customer service I've ever experienced. It's a shame that people can't get decent service especially in this economy when so many places are going out of business. When you have paying customers coming to spend their money on pricey donuts, it shouldn't be hard to maintain a friendly tone, and have basic manners when people place their order. But this young man with the glasses doesn't seem to get the memo. When getting my order and coffee, by default I always ask for a straw with my drink at a drive thru and as he hands me the drink with no straw in the other hand I simply said "oh could I get a straw?" This review is only for the new cinnamon rolls that are being offered. The restaurant is always very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We had seen an advertisement for the new cinnamon rolls and decided to check them out. Of course they're good because I've never had a bad a Krispy Kreme doughnut. They taste more like the original glazed donut than a cinnamon roll and have the same texture of the donut, which again, Yum. The cinnamon comes a little bit later and they are definitely not traditional. Purchased a dozen donuts and 2 coffees. The donuts were cold, the chocolate donuts were deformed more of a cylinder than round, some barely had crème inside. Coffee was nasty, something out of a machine that isn't quite right for the price of a barista made specialty drink. I pointed it out to the manager and he seemed confused why I was asking about any of this which would explain the mediocre standards, if your manager doesn't care then you get what you get. I'll give my business to Dunkin or any other brand rather than returning.
