I normally think Krispy Kreme is way too sweet but this location had amazing and fresh donuts! They were absolutely perfect and the staff was so sweet. I couldn't even take a pic before we bit into the donut. Super happy with the donuts here.

Literally one of my favorite donut shops if not my favorite. It's always consistently good, and the glazed donuts here are the best of all time when they're fresh off the conveyor belt. We passed this location when their sign was lit up indicating you get free glazed donuts, so we stopped by and all got one free glazed donut, and it hit the spot. I would go here everyday if I could for the glazed donuts. The service was great too. The girl giving us the donuts was really sweet. And, the ambiance was standard for a Krispy Kreme. I like how they have so many windows.

Absolutely love to be able to drive thru and have a person that is in a great mood! Especially on a Friday morning. Shout out to Robert on 4/3/2025 on Friday today - an absolute pleasure to be welcomed and taken my order with no complications just great service! My donuts were warm and I was able to deliver them myself to the office and made it a happier morning! Definitely recommend.

I ordered a 1/2 dozen original glazed. Does this look like a 1/2 dozen original glazed!!!

The "Hot" sign was on, so we had to stop! The drive-thru line was wrapped around the building, so we parked and went inside and are so glad we did. All of us standing in line received a complimentary hot donut while we waited to place our order. The service was friendly and fast and the nostalgic memorabilia inside was a nice touch.

This was probably the nicest Krispy Kreme I've been to. GF and I spent some time in San Antonio dining and shopping. On the way out of town we stopped for a quick bite before heading north. We were even greeted with a free glazed doughnut! IDK if this is something new but they were offering cinnamon rolls on Sundays. Had to try one of those; never even got to the blueberry I ordered. She only ordered an additional lemon cream filled. A heads up they cook those cinnamon rolls to order. It was worth the wait. Lady stays in the back and drops them in the oil and just like the glazed it goes through the famous waterfall of sugar. Took less than 5 minutes and OMG super tasty. I wonder if the Austin stores participate in this? Coffees were strong; every staffer was courteous. I actually exclaimed over the weekend how friendly everyone was in every business we visited. Can't remember the last time I experienced this in Austin. Maybe just head south from the ranch more instead of east!

Stopped by on the way home from running a few errands. Got a dozen hot n fresh glazed, only a couple was there before us and a kid came after us. So not busy at all. So the lady gave the first couple donuts and the wife was so excited telling her ty, so I'm lk nice she gave her a free box bc they didn't order that. So we're waiting then I see her give the kid that came after us donuts and then she just stayed at the register, so told my bf I think she forgot about us which is crazy since everything is open. So walked to the front saying we're still waiting on ours and sure enough she gave our box to the first couple. Again not busy at all so no excuse, get it together.

Yesterday, after curbside pickup, I stopped by @krispykreme in Stone Oak to buy some donuts. The store was temporarily closed, so the drive-thru was the only option. I think they were short staffed because there was a wait to take my order and a line quickly formed. The Hot sign was on so I got one free original glazed. I saw the Reese's donuts and had to give them a try. I ordered 2 Outrageous, which has Reese's pieces and 1 Salty Sweet Crisp. I had half of each this morning with my coffee, and they were good. Definitely only good if you don't have peanut allergy. If you love peanut butter, you'll have to check it out!

Absolutely pathetic! This store has not reopened since the pandemic which as the world has largely returned to normal is just pure laziness! Our daughter wanted some of these for a birthday sleepover and we drive here to find line wrapped around the building- largely due to skeleton staff! The store is a disaster- trash cans outside overflowing with trash and racks just dumped all over the store rather than being open with tables available! Which I guess saves them cleaning. The parking lot had a big open dumpster overflowing with birds enjoying old food Others around the country are open - NYC was open last year so it's just a lazy franchise owner. Even worse. The speaker at the drive through barely works - and this is your only way to order. When you get to the drive though the window is disgusting and the other windows are blacked out with paper making me wonder what is going on inside the restaurant! There appeared to be one person working and poor guy was very slow as he has to take orders, fill orders and check out. Place needs to be looked at by health inspectors

First thing you notice is the dirty floors. We got to the counter and placed our order. The guy behind the counter repeated our order back to us, incorrectly. We restated our order and he repeated it back to us incorrectly again! I felt like we were in a bad sitcom episode! So, we went item by item until he got it right. We paid and took our box (he never offered it). My wife asked if she could get extra cream for her coffee. He pointed at an empty container in the refrigerator case. We waited until he checked out another group and had to request cream again. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired here. The doughnuts were good though.

I attached the marketed vs what we revived. I understand they are only about $3 but come on Krispy Kreme is this what we are doing now? I should have just picked up donuts from H-E-B like normal. And for more clarity I ordered them in drive thru about 9:30am and it's fresh outside about 70 degrees and live 3 miles from this location. So heat or other outside influences did not factor in

This was my first time visiting The Original Donut Shop and may be the last. There are two lines to order from inside, which I didn't notice at first. Apparently I ordered from the "taco side". I was told to take my receipt blahblah (mumbled) Since I didn't understand I asked a different young lady what was I supposed to do? "WHAT do you WANT??" "This is my first time here, I didn't understand what she said." "Go over there" points to the other register. I walked over and I honestly should have asked for a refund because there were flies around the donuts. I get it, the drive-thru window is right there close to the donut case, but there should be a better system in place to control that. The donut doors were just left open, so there weren't any measures taken to prevent the flies from getting to the donuts. When I looked at the options the Boston Cream Filled is not what I typically get, it was a glazed cream filled donut without the chocolate icing on top. I asked if I could switch it since I wanted something with chocolate and I switched for a chocolate donut filled with Boston Cream. I shared my donuts with some coworkers and we all agreed, the glazed was nothing special, the chocolate donut didn't have a chocolate flavor and the cinnamon roll wasn't a roll, it was a piece of bread with the cinnamon swirl design on top but the bread was one piece. Hopefully the fly problem will be resolved for future patrons.

Tequila strawberry tres leches croissant - a small, cream filled croissant with strawberries. This was our least favorite. Luckily for me, I went the day after memorial day so the lines weren't that bad and the red carpet laid out in front of the restaurant was all clear. I grabbed a menu before it was my turn to order. It's a lot to choose from and without pictures it's difficult to tell what most of the items are. Especially for a first timer. So, I ordered what the gentleman in front of me had which was a plain croissant with butter. It looked better than it tasted. I chose not to use the butter because the croissant was cold so butter wouldn't take to it well. I also ordered a side of scrambled eggs with cheese and avocado. The eggs were delicious, cooked well and flavored nicely. But my avocados were oxidizing so the presentation wasn't appealing. My husband's breakfast scramble was filled with eggs. cheese, and turkey, but wasn't filled with flavor of any kind. It's a lively atmosphere. Great for large groups. There's seating outside so if you're feeling like sitting amongst pedestrians walking by, it's perfect. The service was slow. Really slow. I overheard they were backed up so by the time my macchiato was delivered I was almost done eating.

Aggressive drivers, anxious shoppers, and every retail worker putting in a Nikola Jokic triple-double. I understand it is a different beast of food service when it is December 24th. Christmas breakfast is what starts off your day before ripping through presents, and this year my parents thought Duck Donuts' Christmas-themed donuts would be a fun change of pace from the cinnamon pull aparts that we normally do. On Christmas Eve, we placed a mobile order on the Duck Donuts website, which requires a mandatory tip to order online, and we selected the ASAP option that said it would take about 30 to 40 minutes. My dad, who was in charge of picking them up, said they were kind of behind and typically that was fine. However, as the donuts were coming out of the fryer, they were immediately decorating them with the icing and the crazy and unique Duck Donuts toppings. When the order was ready, my dad noticed that the dozen donut box was quite hot. Donuts are not usually served warm like that. When he got home to show them to us, all the designs of their gingerbread and other Christmas flavors had melted. All the creams had completely melted. It looked gross. We put them in the fridge to try and preserve them from melting any more, but only so much could be done to salvage them from their depressing state. It was a little tragic. I feel like this is a very rare occurrence from Duck Donuts, as we have had donuts from this location before and enjoyed them. It felt like the fault of Christmas special orders and the rush that led to a breakfast disaster from what was meant to be a special start of the morning. All things considered, the donuts were fine. They tasted okay, but they gooped up in your hands and just felt wasteful. For the price, you would hope they would not melt before you got home. Duck and cover donuts.
