I went here through the Too Good To Go app. You get a selection (of their choosing) at a huge discount, normally shortly before they close. It's a fantastic way for businesses to not have to waste food. I've tried a few places, this bakery, honestly, gave the best selection & the most from the others I've tried. I received several donuts, a couple of glazed croissants, a couple of kolaches, and about 3-4 other baked goodies. All for $5.99 All very good too. I only captured the chocolate donut. The others were consumed too fast. The ladies were super friendly & sweet. I'll be back to this location for the kolaches. They were so good, & those cake donuts! And to try more. Yum. Check em out. These donuts were awful. Aggressively awful. My wife asked when was the last time we had donuts this bad...usually if we don't like donuts it's because they are overly fancy...these were...not fancy, just bad. They were hard or stale, and tasteless. Tried the glazed and chocolate sprinkle and apple fritter. The only one with any decent taste was the apple fritter but when I tell you it was SOOOO hard. I legit couldn't finish it because it took too much chewing to get through. It was more than crunchy. It was so bad my 7 year old didn't even finish any of his donuts. read more

Hands down my favorite donut shop at the moment. Found them through a deal on the TGTG app and fell in love. Now, I am trying to lose weight, so I'm not here as often as I wish I were but every visit has been pleasant. They have some unique seasonal items and a good selection of staples and classics. It's a donut shop, so obviously not a long wait to be served. They have a large drink selection, even a small patio table if you need to stuff your face that desperately. read more

Got some donuts that tasted like they were a week old. Seemed stale. Clean looking place and friendly staff, but the donuts were subpar.

Friendly service. Very inexpensive and delicious selection. We got donuts and kolaches. Everything was fresh and not overly sweet. Ample parking and quick service. They were out of glazed donuts but the twist pastry was nice. My uncle loved the pig in the blanket with cheese. Recommended. Will be back when in town. I do wish they would label the donuts because it would be easier than to have to ask and point to anything you weren't sure about. That's the only criticism I had. The staff was patient and willing to answer all questions so it wasn't a bad thing. read more

I do like their big kolaches. The bread is sweet and is a good contrast with the sausage. Jalapeño sausage was not spicy; could just taste a slight jalapeño flavor. Donut holes were a total no go. I can't explain it but if you've had Shipley's donut holes, these do not come close. Also tried their white frosting donut--now that was a hit! Tons of filling and great taste. Right down the street and they keep a pretty steady stock even during hours other donut places may be picked clean. The folks on the other end of the counter and super friendly and ready to throw some freebies on your order to bait you back in or just once they're used to seeing you around. The bear claws are a personal favorite of mine, so fresh and not overly sweetened. My only warning is to maybe dodge anything with a chocolate glaze? (Easy enough to say when you're not a chocolate fan like myself, but I guess this could be a deal breaker for some.) We've tried it on multiple occasions and something about their chocolate glaze gives off a chemical taste. read more

Worst donuts I've ever had. It wasn't even donut dough. The texture was just like normal bread rolls. The kolache dough was also off. Support thin and not fluffy and flakey like kolaches normally are. Also, the dough smelt like old dish water. The apple fritter was definitely old and hard. read more

I used to stop here to pick up breakfast before going to the hospital for myself and most of the staff. But I won't anymore, the guy who works in the morning is so rude. So far these donuts and kolaches are really yummy. I wouldn't say this place is at the top of my list for favorite donuts ever, but my husband brought me a chocolate filled donut one day, right after this branch opened since its so close to my house. It was surprisingly delicious! I was expecting some sort of pudding-like filling when he said "I brought you a chocolate filled donut from that new place that just opened." However, it was more chocolately, like melted chocolate chips mixed into a pudding if that makes sense. It was more rich and delicious. Exactly what I would want in a chocolate filled donut! Then another day my friend dropped by with a random assortment of donuts and kolaches. There were bear claws with an apple filling, plain donuts, a fritter type donut that we all loved and kolaches of the spicy and the plain variety. Both of those were delicious as well. We stop buy once or more a week to grab a few specialty donuts we enjoy. We've gone to several places trying to find the one we like but none have come close to what we had been used to - but the ones at the Donut Kolache Palace are as good or better than our past favorites.
