Major fail. For weeks they have advertised Halloween donuts. They are darling. How hard is It to get these donuts? It's impossible. I needed them for Friday night, Oct 30th party. I asked to order some. They said, "No, then everyone would order them!" WHAAAAT?!?! Then I went to pick some up the day before the party. They were sold out. They said, "Come back tomorrow morning at 6 AM (but some people line up at 4 AM)." I came the next day at 5:30 AM. IN LINE. at 5:55 someone from store comes out to put a sign on drive through that says...not open till 7. I wait. Back out again and not opening till 8. I wait. Out at 8 am. NOOOOO HALLOWEEN DONUTS. Ridiculous. They should have told those waiting that there would be no Halloween donuts. Something wrong with machine. Tell us that the first hour at 6 AM. BAD MANAGEMENT AND RUDE EMPLOYEES. You can imagine our surprise when we showed up at 9:50 and they were closed. Not only were they closed, but the sign on the door stated they were not open 24 hours, but until 11. The gentleman in sweeping in the front of the store then tapped his broom on the door and pointed to the sign which confused us even more. I see on yelp it says 8pm but online it says 10.. pulled up at 9:30 and people were still in there but the doors were locked and they had cones in the drive through signaling they're closed. Krispy Kreme agreed to give free donuts on Mondays to healthcare workers during this COVID19 crisis. Working in healthcare right now things are crazy so I decided to pick some up for my team on my way to work. The line was wrapped around the building. It only took about 15 minutes to get the donuts and they were delicious! Brought so many smiles to my team as I came into work with them. Such an amazing thing Krispy Kreme is doing. We as a company have ordered from Krispy Kreme many times before this pandemic and always receive the best customer service. quick service, and delicious donuts. Unless you start early, you won't get your order on the same day - plan on "tomorrow". And if you are still committed, and want the cute Christmas donuts that are on their home screen, or you want to choose your own donuts, forget it. They are a good donut company, and some of this locations donuts are good. Alas any of their filled donuts are not worth getting yet, they either put a giant hole and next to no filling or they put half the filling at the very back and leave a huge empty hole that dries out over night. As do all the other people swarming Krispy Kreme when we collectively pull up 30 minutes ahead of schedule. To no avail, the signs are out. The drive-thru is closed. I never use Yelp but this is the second - SECOND - time this has happened to us. We thought it was a fluke. It's no fluke. They just like to close early.
