The food was extremely salty, and when we told our server that we were celebrating my daughter's birthday, she simply brought out a dessert while our family sang "Happy Birthday" to her. What really upset us was that, as we were leaving , we heard the staff singing "Happy Birthday" to an elder customer. Even our server joined theme . It was difficult not to feel that our daughter was treated differently, especially when we had already made the staff aware that we were celebrating her birthday. I want to be clear that we treated our server respectfully and even left a very good tip. We simply expected the same courtesy and celebration that we witnessed being given to another customer. The difference in how the two birthday celebrations were handled left our family feeling uncomfortable and hurt, and it raised concerns for us about whether race played a role in the difference in treatment. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that every customer, regardless of age or race, is treated with the same respect and consideration.
