Dr. Andrade is an excellent pediatrician! Both my kids have seen her since birth and I trust her completely as their doctor. I did have an experience with her indirectly, that I took issue with. It was during COVID, when I was very pregnant and brought my daughter in for her wellness visit. My daughter told Dr. Andrade that her daddy was sick, and I confirmed , that yes, he HAD, COVID (he's a first responder), but he's no longer testing positive and he's back at work and feeling fine. My mask was down during the conversation, as we were in a treatment room and it was just her, me and my daughter. Months later, my husband had brought my daughter in bc she had a fever, and Dt. Andrade met him outside to do the COVID test. He made some comment about her being overly cautious about COViD (his beliefs, not at all mine), and they got into it, and I guess she said "Your wife was in here without a mask, and said, btw , (insert husbands' name) has COVID!!" Like I'm some asshole spreading COVID everywhere!!? It's one of those situations where I wish my husband had not told me this story bc now I always feel judged by her. But men, am I right? Other than that, I do think she's great! read more

I would not recommend Dr Andrade. Zero stars! When my child experienced a reaction after vaccinations, my concerns were dismissed rather than properly evaluated. As a parent, it is incredibly frustrating and concerning to feel gaslit instead of supported when advocating for your child's health. The issues don't stop there -- the front office staff is consistently rude, unprofessional, and lacks basic courtesy. They often appear disengaged and unapproachable, which is unacceptable in an environment meant for children and families. Overall, this office lacks both compassion and professionalism. I will not be returning and suggest other parents look elsewhere for care. They have other doctors at that office and several reviews also complaining of the front office lady. read more

We love this office and Dr. Andrade! We love her concerned but also laid back approach. It's the perfect balance for us! We never have to wait too long to see her, they usually take us back to a room right away. And we can get last minute appointments easily. I have a 9 month old and we have had a great experience so far! We also love Elyse the nurse!! read more

What kind of jerks are these people? Needed a physical form signed today so my daughter could participate in school tennis today. Physical is done. Just need it signed. Drove there twice. Called and begged multiple times. And they wouldn't do it. Only can hope Dr Andrade needs something really bad one day and she gets someone like her to frustrate and disappoint her. read more

Dr Andrade is kind, supportive and knowledgeable. When it comes to my 5 kids, I trust her completely. When I had my last baby May 2020, the hospital did not properly care for him and dropped the ball on a few fronts. Dr Andrade came in and kicked butt and made sure my child got the proper care and treatment he needed. I felt like finally someone had our back. She always gets us in same day if we have an issue. She also promptly returns phone calls. Mostly, you can tell Dr Andrade loves what she does and truly cares about the kids put in her care. South Bay is lucky to have such a wonderful pediatrician around. I could not recommend her more. read more

I took a baby care basics class at Little Company of Mary and Dr. Andrade was there at the beginning of class to introduce herself and answer some questions. Right away I loved her personality, knowledge, approach on infants, and her purple hair! I schedule a meeting with her prior to having my baby but he decided to come early! So first official meeting with Dr. Andrade was in the hospital after my son was born. She was very sweet and gave us all the knowledge. My son had a little jaundice the first couple of days and she reassured us that it's common and gave us instructions on how to help the jaundice go away. When Dr. Andrade isn't available, she has Dr. Keiger (spelling?) as her back up. She's also very great and trust both of these women. The office she has is shared by several other doctors. They don't have a separate waiting room for parents with infants but usually will have a room available right away. So you don't have to worry about sick children in the waiting room. My son is almost 6 months old and doing well. I would definitely recommend Dr. Andrade to any parent out there. PS our insurance is Aetna if anyone is wondering. read more

Dr. Andrade, Elise, and Natasha are a powerhouse! After seeing multiple (mediocre) pediatricians, I decided to switch my child to Dr. Andrade and it was the best decision I could have made for my child over 6 years ago. When my second child was born, I was no longer searching for the perfect pediatrician because my family had already found one. Did I mention that all of the providers and staff are females? I point this out because my daughter loves the strong role models in Dr. Andrade and her staff and shows her what it looks like when women are supported. At any rate, Dr. Andrade and her staff- Elise and Natasha offer such a welcoming, compassionate, and warm experience. The level of patient care offered is top notch and I do not hesitate to call when one or both of my children are sick. With Covid, many provider offices have offered poor care due to being extremely short-staffed. However, during these difficult times, my children have not suffered due to Dr. Andrade's exceptional scheduling. It is by far THE BEST! When my children are sick, whether mild or urgent, I call and Natasha always offers the next available (which is within a few hours at most). Once I arrive, Dr. Andrade either completes a curbsite visit (if the visit is Covid related) or I check in directly with Natasha and I am immediately placed in an examination room where Elise is prompt and gentle with taking vitals. Soon after, Dr. Andrade addresses all of my concerns and implements a plan of action. Overall, my experience has been so incredible that I don't mind the 40+ mile commute. I only wish that Dr. Andrade's, Elise's, and Natasha's service could transcend to other specialists and primary care providers. read more

Dr. Andrade makes you feel like your baby is in the best hands. We are new parents and she's been super helpful with her advice and always available to answer any questions we have. Her office is also right next to the hospital, so she was able to visit the hospital before we were discharged to meet our baby. Dr Andrade is amazing! She was recommended by my OB. She has been my daughters pediatrician since the birth of my 3rd child. She is vet hands on. She makes you feel like your child is the only child she is caring for. She calls back when you leave messages for her. Having my 3rd child in my 40s was stressful. I worries about every single thing. She has eased my fears that I have had with starting over with a new baby. She has cheered me on for continuing to nurse my baby. Dr. Andrade took over Dr. Beverly Gates practice, who had been our pediatrician for 10 years. We were very pleased when Dr. Andrade took over because she offers the same level of excellent care that Dr. Gates did. Dr. Andrade is knowledgeable, compassionate, listens to your concerns and doesn't rush through your appointment. The office staff is wonderful too - Amelia always remembered who we were and worked with us to get appointments as soon as we needed. Dr. Andrade has been the most knowledgeable, caring, and supportive doctor through a difficult year with my 12 month baby. I had been seeing a different ped who was dismissive about my concerns with my newborn. As a second time mom, I had a gut feeling that my baby had a milk allergy which caused her incredible pain. When my baby was one month old we switched to Dr. Andrade and I immediately knew we made the right decision. She sat and listened to me, we made a plan, and sure enough, my baby had a bunch of allergies. Elise was there with a smile on her face at every single appointment and would even call us to check in after appointments. About ten months later, my baby is happy and healthy. She still has some allergies, but with Dr. Andrade and an amazing allergist and gastro we have made a lot of progress. I am so grateful we have found this incredible team that we can trust and rely on to take care of my daughters. read more

A long overdue review. Dr. Andrade has been our boys' pediatrician for the past 3+ years. I've been recommending Dr. Andrade to my close friends and they are all very happy with Dr. Andrade's medical care for their children. I have four boys under the age of 6 and one of them has a number of severe congenital medical conditions which make keeping him healthy really challenging. He sees about twenty different medical specialists and he's gone through a number of major surgeries before he turned three. My other three kids are normally developing healthy boys. When my boys were born prematurely at 31 wks and came home from NICU after spending months in the hospital, I was devastated, especially with one baby being so medically fragile. Having Dr. Andrade and her staff as a part of our children's medical care team was the greatest blessing. They are genuinely so caring AND Dr. Andrade is so good at what she does. I've experienced a number of pediatricians at Children's Hospital in Los Angeles with my sons but Dr. Andrade is by far the best. She doesn't overwhelm you or cause you unnecessary worries or concerns and yet, she does not miss something that should be looked into further. She listens to you and she provides your child the best treatment plan - she is careful with medications on little ones and her treatment recommendation is right on with the pediatric specialists' recommendation. She is really smart and she has a bright heart towards her patients. We're so grateful for what Dr. Andrade and her team have done for our kids. Whether you are looking for a doctor for a medically involved child or not, I would recommend Dr. Andrade with no hesitation. read more

From the moment I met Dr. Andrade, I knew there was no one else I wanted to care for my son. She is not only insanely smart and well versed in the most recent research, but she takes a science based, methodical approach unlike one I've ever seen. She is laidback, friendly and will spend however much time you need, not however much time she has. She is cautious and proactive, and will give you her recommendations, but will respect your wishes. My son needed to see several different specialists over the course of the past year and she provided excellent referrals. Beyond that, each specialist visit confirmed Dr. Andrade's initial scope of my son's condition and the path that we should take. Her staff is wonderful - quick to help, never without a smile and will treat you as though you are the most important person, even if there are three people standing behind you. I've called many times at 9 a.m. and my son has seen Dr. Andrade by 10:30 a.m. that same day. We've never waited more than five minutes in the room to see her and we always leave happy and confident in the care that our son receives.
