Came in here again after coming in 3 years ago with my Family. The place was empty! We sat down right away and the server was over! She remember my husband and I from that long ago! I thought that was very cool. We all ordered our food and everything came out perfect! The only thing I have to complain about is, there wasn't any pie! They were out of all dessert! Breakfast: Imitation creamer in the heart of America's dairy land. Tasteless Sysco "jam" made of juice from concentrate and high fructose corn syrup. Bacon sliced so thin one has to marvel at the technology behind it. Toast that tastes like an empty cereal box might, and smeared with something that looks like butter. All of this fine fare is served in booths separated from each other with plastic sheets rising to the ceiling giving the whole place a cheerful field hospital unit like ambience. As a bonus and feature of their unique booth construction method, you will be jolted around by the patron behind you each time he or she moves or shifts. All of this can be had for the equivalent price of 3 to 4 egg mc muffins making it a bargain to be sure. read more

Great little breakfast place. You get your food fast, it is always well cooked. Operated by a very friendly Greek family. The staff there is literally all family. We came here after a weekend in Green Lake and got some brunch. When we called for a reservation they accommodated for the 10 people we had in our group. The food was really good, I got the Kristina skillet which comes with hash browns, a mixture of peppers, onion, and mushroom with cheese, topped with 2 eggs. On the side I got a big pancake, which was also really fluffy and delicious. The portions are big and you get a lot for you money. Since we had such a big group, we knew that the service would be a little bit slower, but they kept up pretty well. The staff were very nice and welcoming. read more

My girlfriend and I have enjoyed Kristina's in the past but after our experience today, we will never be going back, we will suggest none of our friends go back, and we will not recommend it to any people that ask our opinion. From the movement our waitress approached our table, it was clear we were not going to be treated well at all. She did not greet us in any way and was very short and rude while answering our questions about the menu. Then when our food did finally come she essentially tossed our plates on the table and left. Did not ask us if we had everything we needed or anything of that nature and then proceeded to come place our check in the middle of our table less than three minutes after we got our food. No letting us know there was no rush or anything like that. Meanwhile as all of this was going on she was visiting her other tables, engaging in long and lively conversation, and checking back on people. Finally said something to who I thought was the manager (turned out to be another waitress) who unfortunately couldn't do much. They did refund our money--at that point we couldn't even eat--but while waiting for me to sign the check the waitress just stood there not apologizing but instead emphasizing to us that she was NOT being rude and that we should have seen she was doing her job. Came back a few minutes later and cleared our plates while then telling us loud enough for the other customers to hear that essentially she thought WE were rude because we voiced our complaint to another waitress instead of coming to her. No apology. No "we hope you'll come back". We loved Kristina's because everything they say or print says that they care about their customers. It should really say though that they care about their "regular customers" as it is clear this younger waitress was only focusing on them and we were not nearly as important to her. We know we can't afford to go out enough to be regulars here like we'd like to be, but I don't think thats an excuse for us to be treat so rudely or differently. read more

The last time I went here was seven years ago. The food was good and overly greasy. Ripon is a small town and this diner is on the Main Street. As a result, on the weekends you see mainly students who don't have cars. I would not recommend going on a week day. The food was alright at best. read more

My fiance and I received very poor service at this location. Our relaxing dining experience was anything but that when we decided to drop in this past Saturday due to our server, the owner's daughter. First off, she greeted me by saying that she recognized me from my last visit earlier that week. That was fine, but then she went on to say, "but you were with another gentlemen and very dressed up!" This was true and I am glad I mentioned meeting my lawyer here to my fiance prior to coming in. I was rather shocked that she appeared to be bothered by that, which was none of her business. While waiting to order, my fiance mentioned to me that he may have painted the place a while back. Our server jumped in our conversation and began to show him cracks in the wall in areas that he didn't even paint and asked when he could return to repaint the back wall. She was very loud and pointed to the back of the store where touch ups were necessary and told him the paint was in the basement whenever he was ready. She continued to talk about all that was wrong with the back wall as if he caused the problems to the wall, but it all sounded like normal wear and tear over the years My fiance was very polite about it and agreed to come in the following week to work on it, only because he did not want to continue discussing it in that manner in front of other customers that were trying to enjoy their dining experience as well, being that he was not there for that. We could not believe that she went on and on about it. He was sorry that he even mentioned the word paint to me by the end of our visit. To add insult to injury, she asked him if he had older adult children in the area when he mentioned his name. We were both insulted. He told her he only had a 6 year old in the area. She later came back and asked to see a picture of his daughter, as if to verify this. We weren't sure what to think at this time, so I responded ABSOLUTELY NOT! We are almost sure she was clueless about how inappropriate she was from start to finish. We will most certainly be taking our business to Gallagher's in the future when we decide to dine locally and have a pleasant brunch experience on a Saturday. We have permanently crossed Kristina's off of our list. While I can not remember the quality of the food due to the bad service, I can only suggest that if you are in town and decide to visit this restaurant, it would be best to avoid the owner's daughter as a server if you are seeking quality service. She is both rude and obnoxious. read more

The food was very good. Omelette are often greasy at restaurants. This is NOT the case here! It was a great blend of ingredients. Food was good however our afternoon Valentines day Dinning experience was ruined due to our rude older waitress. Ordered a Coke had to ask twice, the bottomless Coke that is advertised on the menu turned into one Coke despite our waitress walking past an empty glass numerous times. I asked what kind of pie they had and was told to go look myself, the display case is in the back of the restaurant. We didn't take our rude waitress personally as we noticed she was rude to other customers as well. Happy Valentine's Day to us, will never be back! read more

6 of us pulled up to the café at 5 minutes before closing and asked if they would still serve us if not we understood. The owner said yes to have a seat. The owner's daughter ended up being our waitress and she was a wonderful girl. The food was very good and we were very pleased with our experience. The daughter was extremely friendly and we ended up giving her recommendations for schooling and possible jobs in Milwaukee which is where we are from.
