We patrons end up doing their work: you scan your products, you chase after the 1 employee (who's actually shelf-stocking somewhere around the store) when the machine gets stuck, and then you pay LIDL for what is pretty much deplorable customer service (or nonexistent?). Then, on the way out, BINGO! the patron ahead of me also had issues scanning his bar code to exit the self-check out area. Him, too, had to go chase after the associate for help. LIDL, one thing is tauting yourself of having the lowest prices in the market. A very different one is being CHEAP. Too cheap to pay the salaries that would ensure a minimally staffed store. After today, I'm going back to ALDI, I don't even care if I have to drive a couple more miles. Keep up the good work, LIDL. You just pushed us back to your competitor. Well done!

The store is made with the new design. The deli is almost at the front door. The food smells so good as soon as you enter the building. They know what they are doing. My goal was to scoop up some toilet paper and water. That didn't stop me from going uo and down the aisles. Store was well stocked. Everything was neat. I found some seasonings. Thats a plus. Also I use a motorized cart. It's nice that they had them available and charged. Not all stores have them. The cashier was pleasant and helpful. She asked me about the flavor of ice cream I chose and gave me some nice suggestions. I would gladly return.

My friend kept calling it a seafood dip, so I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for. I was genuinely impressed by how eager everyone was to help. Employees from multiple departments worked together to figure it out, and we eventually discovered it was a seafood salad thawing in the back. That level of customer service made a great impression. I've already been back since that visit. I've always shopped at DeKalb Farmers Market or Whole Foods, but Fresh Market has unique products, a smaller and more enjoyable shopping experience, and excellent service. Lately I've been focusing on eating healthier, so I don't mind paying a little more for higher quality food, especially when it's paired with such a great customer experience. Most recently, they had Callaway Blue water 24 pack for $9.99. I also like that they have a lot of vegan brands and healthy snacks and food items. If you are vegetarian or vegan, you can find a lot of products here that you may not be able to find at traditional big-box grocery stores like Kroger or Publix. It reminds me of an old-school market from when I was a kid. For the most part, the employees always speak and are friendly. They'll ask if you need anything, and the cashiers are very nice too. Their bakery items are pretty delicious, everything is well-stocked and easy to find, and I've never had any items that were expired or old. They also have a decent selection of canned fish. After-work hours are typically very busy, and I think Fridays are as well. This most recent time, I came during a weekday mid-day, and it was really nice and not crowded. Overall, it's a good, healthier option, but it is on the expensive side, so sign up for their digital coupons to help save money! It's off of Main and I know my first time coming here, I thought there was a side entrance into the parking lot. There is not, so you want to make sure you enter off of Main St.

The entire store is filthy and there are indicators of a serious rat problem, which the store management has dealt with by moving everything up from the bottom shelves and putting rice and pasta in large plastic bins. In the picture you will see pork for sale at less than a dollar that is green. I have also seen moldy bacon for sale on the shelf. They are literally burning huge stalks of incense around the store to cover the bad smells, which are overwhelming in some spots. If you haven't been there, steer far clear. If you have been there and you liked it, don't go back. I have no idea why it hasn't been closed down. Like, I sent a complaint to the Georgia Dept. of Agriculture. It's that bad.

Aldi is a wonderful grocery store to shop at and save money. What has changed? This location is truly troubled in two ways: 1 - There are only ever 2 lines open and the lines are always extremely long, no matter the day/time. It's turning into W*lm*rt. I'm sure that it's good for their bottom line to not spend more money on more employees, but at what cost? The team is truly lovely, as stated before. They get you in and get you out as quickly as they can. But I can only wonder how much more of an efficient experience it may be for us all if they opened at least one more of their available lanes. 2 - The produce selection here is C-grade at the most. I'm not sure if it's because of the location or what, but I'm constantly disappointed with the selection and find myself having to hit Kroger or Publix to get my produce after a visit to this Aldi these days. The last 4 times that I've visited, I've seen rotten carrots, mushy or totally unripened avocados, overpriced bags of produce available vs. individual options and more. Even when I've purchased produce from them in the past, I've come to see that they somehow rot quicker than when I get them from other places, no matter how well they are kept. With produce being such an important part of our diets, it saddens me to see that higher-quality items aren't put on display and offered at this location. All of my other praises still stand! Aldi is still one of the best places to get a number of items priced lower than other grocery stores. There's something about being apart of the shelf to table process lol. Although Aldi may not always be my first shopping choice, it's absolutely always at the top. Offering some great deals, their very specific brand and a European shopping experience, I'm definitely an Aldi fan. If you've never been to Aldi, my first tip is to either bring a quarter or a reusable tote or two. This is because carts require a quarter checkout fee but it's returned to you when you return your cart. I usually opt to bring one of my reusable tote bags when picking up a few faves, always comes in handy as that's your bagging option + purchasing a reusable bag in person + paper bagging. This Aldi is incredibly clean and organized, I love that! Each aisle is always stocked and never leave you asking team members what to do. Because Aldi doesn't do competitive products (if you're looking for peanut butter, you'll find one brand!) it's usually a smooth shopping process since you're not going through the indecisiveness I know I do when comparing brands. Prices are always great and their candles are coming for B&BW! Such a great local representation for Aldi, such a great shopping experience.
