This is a very spacious Kroger . I came here right when they opened up in the early morning. Right off Broad street in Mansfield , this location bolsters variety and quality items . I needed some help to find my way around, but once I got the Whey protein I was looking for , I felt much better. They offer the whey protein I really love and kind of hard to find reasonably elsewhere. Checkout was a little tough during the early hours as there were no staff at registers. Once I waved someone down , I went on my way through self checkout. Very clean and well kept store . read more

You would think with all the competition in this part of Mansfield, this store would be on point with customer service...not the case whatsoever. There was a line at self checkout with to stations lights going off and no one around. When I got up to check out, one of the prices rang up incorrectly, ok take that off because the cashier couldn't figure out a solution. Then my coupon wouldn't work even though I had the correct product and the correct amount to buy. Oh and it was a KROGER coupon that I received the mail. I was over it at that point. I took back my coupons and walked out with nothing. So since the cashier couldn't figure out a solution, you get to restock my groceries, you made no sale and I won't bother coming back. The store had everything I wanted in stock so that was good but too bad they failed at the register. If I need to checkout myself, at least have competent help at self-checkout for when your systems fail. read more

I love this Kroger but DONT USE MOBILE PICKUP I have a huge test tomorrow and I'm out of toliet paper. Said would be ready at 6, it's now 8:35. She called and said it won't be ready till 7:30 so I showed up at 7:45. Called me from inside saying it'll be another 30 mins. I told her to call me when it's ready and she hasn't yet so I called and after it ringing for 5 mins she answered told me she was busy and it was ready and hung up on me. Once again, the Kroger cashier and/or cash register neglected to take off the additional discount (25%) when I purchased 6 bottles of wine today. The weekly sales flyer (Dec. 4-10, 2024) clearly reads "25% OFF ANY 6 BOTTLES OF WINE." This has happened on my last three attempts to purchase wine over the past few months! I have to go to the customer service desk to have my receipt total adjusted. It's a hassle! Get your act together, Kroger! Okay, this is a long review and I apologise. Name of person is James with Instacart. Order place at 4, advised order was ready, went to pick it up, ordered not ready because there system is messed up. Understood and I ain't even mad at this point but this was for dinner. So Instacart won't cancel so I call the store and this is where James enters the story. I simply state I want to cancel my order, give James the name and he states I will take care of it. To ensure we were all speaking about the correct order as all I have given him at this point is a name for a system that is messed up I asked what is the dollar amount for the order. James doesn't have this info so I ask just give me five items on the order again, just to confirm this is the correct order and the next four words changed my demeanour. James states " is this a game"!!! And it was at this point that my spirits dropped and the frustration came out and I did lose my cool. But at the end of it all the order was cancelled but bro, learn what customer service is. None the less we will Neva Eva use this clown again. read more

I visit Kroger's stores at least 3 times a week for my groceries. Yesterday I visited this particular location at their busy time around 5 pm, hoping everything would go as smooth as possible and to say it was I was impressed. The checkout staff at lane 5, Caralyne at the register was cheerful and energetic. Shawn the bagger was also energetic and polite. I wish their would be more teenagers like them. Worst customer service from TAMMY a manager. I got milk that said was .99 cents. had the description that it was for half a gallon in tiny letters. When the cashier calls TAMMY, tells her that I thought the price was .99 instead of 3.89, she comes over and in a loud and rude voice says " no they're not". She never acknowledged me, didn't look at me. I told her take them off, upset she said "I am!" There was customers behind me. I didn't want to lower myself to her standards so I paid and left. I can see in the reviews that I'm not the only one who has complained about customer service. They have list Another consistent and loyal customer . I'm glad I don't own this place!! I went in today to grab lobster and crab from the seafood deli. I was met by an extremely rude woman rushing me and ignoring anything I had to say I wanted to pick the lobster I was buying so I pointed to the ones I wanted and she threw a hissy fit over helping me get the ones I wanted. I literally asked for 1 TAIL and let her pick the rest. I told her to have a good day and she rolled her eyes at me and started talking to the next person. She needs to be retrained or fired. I will never come back to this location and spend my money when I'm treated in such a manner when I was nothing but nice to her. Worse Clicklist experience ever! I keep saying I'm done with them, but I keep giving them chance after chance. I shld not have to wait 1 hour for them to bring my groceries out, especially when I notified them on the app first that I was on the way. This Kroger store at 3001 Matlock road is the worse grocery I've ever been to in the 45 years of my grocery shopping life. I've been to this store twice in 4 days and both times there were no shopping carts at the entrance and each time the manager treated it as a joke when I said something. So I go in to Kroger to purchase toilet paper no signs are posted limiting quantities. I get nine packages of toilet paper and go to self check out. So the attendant is just watching me scan my toilet paper then tells me I have to call someone to see if you can "take" this many. . So I proceeded to tell the attendant there's no sign posted limiting quantities. Some employee walks up and tells me she hast to go check to see if there's a sign. Low and behold there is no sign and some other reject comes over to tell me they have the right to limit quantities neither one of these rejects are part of the management team. Long story short they would only let me purchase two. Meanwhile I'm still asking them how they can limit quantities when there's no sign posted. I left with my two packages of toilet paper and called corporate customer service promptly. What amazes me is that I've seen people purchase several of the same item and nothing has been said. read more

Uh, everything about the store is ok except customer service. I'm cooking a large gumbo requiring 4-6 lbs of shrimp, rather than help me she raised a sign saying 10-8. Why wouldn't this be displayed. If I could give 0 stars I would. I pre-ordered a sack of crawfish and when I went to pick it up....nothing. I guess they didn't get a shipment and I didn't find out about it until I went to pick it up (don't take orders if you can't fill them). They said they called a few hours before and left a message (which wouldn't have been much help)...but I didn't get a call or a message. So either they lied, or whoever took my order can't write down a phone number correctly. While the manager and one store worker were apologetic, one was not...and his attitude and expression reflected "what are you upset about...we don't have any, so go away ". You can't rely on them and at least one of their workers thinks it's alright to stiff a customer expecting to feed 15+ people. read more

Ive shopped here a long time. Im a little tired of the moving everything around but today im irritated with the starbucks inside kroger. Out of the last 4 attempts to get iced green tea, 2 times they didnt have any, one time they gave me the wrong tea and the 4th time it was correct. Thats in the last few weeks. I'm biased bc I'm comparing to Kroger on South Cooper. Although this one looks super nice & organized, service is slow, sale items especially milk are not well-stocked, cashiers are inefficient, self check-out malfunctions a lot. DO NOT use self check out if you have more than 2 items. Cashiers are ok, not as friendly as the South Cooper one. Compared to many Kroger locations, this location has a nice set up. Gas station a stone's throw away, tons of deals, and it's in a busy area so they get plenty of business. I have visited this location a few times due to the gas station and its proximity to Aldi. Each time I have had a great experience, but the express checkout lane leaves a bit to be desired. Some customers take way too long and inconvenience everyone else behind them. Another issue I had with the express checkout is that I told the cashier that I had 7 of a particular item and she looked at me like she didn't really care. I know that in 2014 Kroger has to have a quantity button, right? People go to express for a reason. Other than that little hiccup, this Kroger location is on my list of places to go shopping and rack up 2x fuel points through the end of summer. read more

I love this Krogers. It has a great variety of foods and wellness items. I love the sushi and cheese bar. The cooked food is always fresh. They have a good floral section that has a great seasonal selection. The store is always clean. It is usually well staffed and there is always an associate close by for assistance. Kroger is the best grocery store ever!! I just hate that I don't live near one. I love to shop at stores like Whole Foods and Central Market, but when I can't make it to an all natural store my favorite grocery store is Kroger. Their produce section has a great selection of organic vegetables. The sushi bar is heaven. And as a vegetarian I can get all of my food in their healthy/vegetarian aisles. It's easy to get around in and usually pretty easy to get out of....Excluding the 5pm dinner rush...however I just really need to say that their self check out is really confusing and not very user friendly. This must be the most unorganized Krogers in the DFW area. You constantly have to work your way around carts, empty boxes, racks and employees standing around not sure what to do next. They almost never have in-stock the Friday Saturday special, even when you try to shopping early Friday morning. When you ask one of the floor workers in the blue Kroger shirts for help, they tell you they don't know or they don't work there. This has been going on for some time, but I thought it would get better in time, but it is getting worse. read more

Been going to this Kroger for 14 years now. They recently updated it and I foolishly thought it would be nicer, more products, more staff and better produce. Unfortunately, they STILL have terrible produce, lots of empty space in the store and if it's after 9pm you better make sure you know which doors they are locking before you park because they only let you in 1 of them. No sign of management after 9pm and not very helpful staff or baggers to be found. Also, if it's after 9pm, you can forget getting anyone to check you out. They have 20 check out lines but NONE of them open after 9pm so if that's the only time you can grocery shop for the week you have to self check your entire cart of groceries. And forget getting anyone to help you with that or be helpful when you have water, dog food or heavy lifting to do from the bottom. Even had the lady "helping" get people through the self checkout tell us that if we'd get there before 9pm we could have someone check us out. Really!? Never thought of that! If I could have come before 9pm I would have... I don't enjoy going grocery shopping that late... it's a necessity! And, lastly, in a time when more and more people are trying to eat healthier they made more freezer rows only to reduce the amount of frozen vegetables they offer to 2-3 doors... all those rows and rows of ice cream, pies, "healthy choice" boxed meals, breakfast foods with a million calories and meats and chickens made with artificial fillers, but can't hardly find some frozen broccoli or frozen spinach. That's a shame! 14 years and it looks like I'm going to be looking for a new grocery store. There are people in Mansfield that aren't stay at home mom's that can shop in the middle of the day. read more

I've gone to this location usually about three times a week for the last almost almost 5 years but in the last two weeks I've had two bad experiences. The first was when I witnessed someone representing the Kroger company completely flip out on a customer trying to get gas. The other, today I was in the self checkout and needed $60 cash back. The pin pad asked me to enter the amount I needed, then I was lectured by the associate that I am only allowed to get up to $50 cash back. Well, there are no signs, or labels indicating this and the pin pad accepted the entered amout of $60. How could I have possibly of know that $50 was the max? I just felt the lecture was unnecessary when the transaction was already complete and there was nothing indicating what I did was wrong. Three stars because I've been going here for so long with no problems until now. It will be a while though before I come back. Good customer service is key to the success of any business. I have plenty of choices as to where I buy my groceries. I went to Kroger for the good experience, good service and good products. read more

Very disappointed. I quit going a year ago because the staff we less than friendly and little selection in organic and vegetarian/vegan options. Tried to give it another go and was run down in the parking lot by a checker asking to see my receipt after I self checked. I happily showed her the receipt with all the listed items present in my basket. The checker accused me of stealing the receipt. I couldn't even believe it. I pointed out the time stamp on the receipt and asked where I might have stolen a receipt with all of my items with the exact time and date. She then stopped harassing me. Went back to let customer service know about her the situation and while I got an apology, still not worth going back. read more
