Horrible store, always has out of date products. Bunkers are always nasty, produce is barely fresh. Deli area is a joke. This whole store needs a revamp. Home Office please come do a visit to this store. We shouldn't have to drive further out to get quality items from another Kroger. Very unacceptable. Customer service is a joke there. By far this is the worst grocery I've ever been to. The employees there are rude and the lines are over the top long. I main reason that i come to this Kroger location is because it's convenient but they don't have the best selection of products. I came looking for pico de Gallo and they had absolutely none. I wish they would upgrade the store like they have in some of the more gentrified neighborhoods. read more

Did a pickup at 4 they called said system went down got here and order wasn't pulled. Girl pulled the wrong order. Talked to the manager he is trash!! Had to wait for her to pull it 15mins. This is one the worst Kroger stores in the nearby area. They are usually out of stock on most items-even the ones advertised on sale or they don't carry items I would find in other Kroger stores closer to the city. There is always some ghetto commotion going on either inside of the store or on the premises. The lines are extremely long and the customer service leaves much to be desired. The freshness of their produce and meat selection is questionable. And they can use some help in regards to cleanliness. I only venture over here when I just need an item or two and most times, they don't even have it in stock.I'd rather drive to East Atlanta, Grant Park or North Decatur Road then to come here. The most disappointing thing about this store is how dirty it is; inside and out. The parking lot is the worst. I know the customers play a part in that but if the establishment took pride in the cleanliness of the grounds the community would have no choice but to do the same. It starts at the top. There are some really amazing employees in this store and some who are obviously just here for a check. There have been renovations and changes to the store's appearance and hours, but all that doesn't matter if it is not kept up. I appreciate there being a security guard on site though. The neighborhood is trying to get better, but for now security is needed. Please take some time to clean this store. It is in my neighborhood and I shop here often. I don't want to have to step over trash in the parking lot and walk into the store and see trash, dirty floors, dirty bathrooms, and an all around lack of care for upkeep. Property values are going up in this area. There are new homes and businesses being built every month. This store is going to need to get with the changing community and get clean. Respect the customers who come here and deserve a clean, nice looking place to shop. read more

I am livid tonight after leaving this location. I've always shopped with and at Kroger and tonight I'm upset there aren't more workers like Taketra at the other locations. Her customer service is impeccable! She greets ppl, is alert and aware of her customers and their needs, and seems genuinely happy which is a departure from the normal employee service I've received at the Glenwood Ave Kroger. I recommend everyone give this location a try because of Taketra and Mike (new store manager.. he also revamped/revived the Moreland ave store). Anyway, thanks Takeitra (excuse the spellings) and M Update: Shirley in the bakery is the worst associate employed by Kroger. I purchased cantaloupe today. I got home and cut it open, not fresh all. Cantaloupe was rotten with a foul smell. Live too far away to return. I contact produce department and got transferred to bakery department twice! So annoying! When there are fruit flies surrounding the fruit don't purchase. There could be rotten fruit spoiling the whole bunch. The smell of the cantaloupe almost made me sick. The store trying to sell produce at a cheaper price but produce not fresh enough to put out for customers. read more

This is the WORT Kroger I've ever shopped in. I moved here from Florida and bought a house in a rush only to get stuck with this store as my neighborhood Kroger. I've always just taken it for what it was till recently back to back incidents at this store and management is ridiculous. I think his name was Steven walked away with no solution to my issue it was Latrisha hopefully I said her name right. Who is and was the one to help me the last time. I will drive to Stone Mountain to Publix or go to the Kroger on Flat Shoals but I would never step foot back in this place. I can't wait for the Lidals to be built I will be there. read more

I usually have a good experience when I shop at this Kroger, but not today. I get to the checkout lines and my cashier (Breanna) does not smile or greet me. I had 4 cases of soda in my cart, I asked her if she needed me to take them out & she said no. So when it came time to scan the sodas, she came from behind the register with her hand scanner or whatever it's called and begins to scan the sodas. So I pay for my stuff & as she's handing me the receipt, she's mumbling something, but all I heard was "day", so maybe she was telling me to have a good day. So I look into my cart and I see that one of the cases of soda are on top of some bags. So I fix the cases in the cart and then I see that some of my items had been smushed by the case of soda. So not only was your customer service bad, you damaged the items that I just paid for. But I didn't say nothing, I just kept it moving and decided to write this review, might even call the store. But needless to say, that self-checkout thing is really making its rounds! So her days are numbered, LOL! read more

This Kroger is very clean and the staff that I came in contact with were very friendly. The clientele here is a little sketch but I never felt threatened. The biggest problem was people blocking food cases when running into acquaintances or talking on the telephone with no regard for fellow shoppers and looked at me like I was crazy when I said, "Excuse me, can I get in there please?" My only real complaint with the store itself is the deli/ready to eat section. The selection here is pretty slim. No salad/soup bar and the hot food was limited to fried chicken or baked chicken (I hope you like chicken) and a few veggies. There is also no "$6 Meal Deal" like most Krogers where you can choose a meat/main dish and two sides. Other than those issues, selection is wide and varied. The organic section if that is your thing seems larger than you would expect for this location. Overall, it was a decent experience but just be aware of the shortcomings I mentioned. read more

I purchased fuel at this Kroger and my account was double charged. While that was of no fault of the staff, I received very poor customer service when I called back to find out how to resolve the issue. After the phone ringing for eternity, being disconnected and then being transferred to two wrong departments with one being Produce (go figure since my problem was fuel not food), I finally was able to obtain a number the customer relations department on call #4. That should have occurred on call #1 being that it was not an in house fix! I called customer relations and was again sent on a goose chase and transferred around multiple times before I finally reached the correct department. After about 45 minutes of calls and wait time, I was told I'd have to wait 48 hrs before they could look into resolving the overcharge though the rep could see where I was triple not double charged as I initially thought. I called back at the 48th hr and after 30 minutes of wait/having to repeatedly state why I was calling though I provided an assigned case # which should have pulled up information on my situation, I was able to have a refund processed...in 7-10 days. Huh?! It only took 7 seconds to rob me so shouldn't the reverse apply?! After all that hassle, I should receive an instant refund and a free tank of gas! #annoyed read more
