The produce section is overflowing with fresh veggies that are well-priced. You can find most everything you are looking for at a grocery store. In the back of the store, they have a deli and a little taco shop. There are tables and chairs, so you can eat there or take your food to go. My husband got two Quesabirria Tacos and a side of rice and beans. I ordered three street-style tacos: Carnitas, Barbaco and Pescado, which was grilled. I also ordered a side of plantains. Throw in a bottle of water and the total bill was $31. There was so much food that I had to take the rice and beans, 2 tacos and my plantains home. I just could not eat any more! They have housemade salsa that they sell in pint containers. The Salsa Verde was so delicious that I have been putting it on all my food this past week. It's spicy but not overpowering. While I do majority of my shopping at the nearby Kroger, this Publix is always our go-to for those delectable pub subs! With that being said, I have shopped around the store when a sub is not the only thing I am after. The store is always well stocked, clean and staffed well. Conditionally, the store is showing its age in places, so a refresh would not hurt. Service is always stellar here from the registers to the deli counter and even the cart attendants! I usually get spoken to by majority of folks I encounter. Overall, this Publix location always treats us well and will remain our go-to in time of need!

I was greeted as soon as I got to the store (I believe her name was Sam), and not only was she very welcoming and personable, but she also had some snack style samples offered-and let's just say I'm pretty sure I just found my new favorite snack-Strawberry and blueberry pretzels! Then, as I was doing my shopping, I had another employee (I'm so sorry, I didn't catch their name!) ask me if I was finding everything ok, and I replied with what I was on the hunt for (a very specific vitamin) and they showed me right to them, and asked if I would like some help finding anything else! Honestly, I can't remember the last time that I went grocery shopping and had someone ask me if I needed help finding anything, so this interaction really stuck out to me. As I went to check out, I was greeted with a SMILE and a "how are you, did you find everything ok today?"....checkout was fast and friendly! I just felt like everyone working there went above and beyond to make my (usually dreaded) shopping trip enjoyable-from being helpful, to simply smiling at me as we walked past each other, and even the bonus snack samples. The places I normally shop at (closer to my place) seem to be filled with employees that have a "ugh I don't want to be here right now" vibe (if you know what I mean), and I think that after getting used to seeing that all the time, and then coming here and having this experience today is a pretty darn good reason for me to break up with my old grocery stores, drive a bit farther and just come here from now on. Cashier Sylvia charged me for 6 artichokes at 3.99 EACH , even though she asked what they were and I told her what I was buying were APRICOTS. I cant believe a grown woman doesn't know what an apricot is or that they are charged by the lb. 2nd cashier Jamilla who was generating all kinds of paper in process , never issued me the credit I am owed for SPROUTS mistake . 3rd the manager with long dark hair came flying over as she had to approve the credit which she apparently did not , and what were her first words to me before I could even say anything to her ? Not an apology but an angry "people make mistakes " . When I patiently tried to point out that even with the credit it was still .20 off, she opened the drawer and slapped 2 dimes into my hand. No wonder that store is not busy on a Saturday, it must have quite a bad reputation. And it starts with the management. This was the first time I came to SPROUTS in Madison , TN and it will be the LAST time. I was there because of emails telling me I would get 30% off my purchase . Instead I was overcharged 23.94 plus tax. No other grocery store has ever treated me so poorly. I will go to Whole Foods instead. I WILL NEVER COME TO SPROUTS AGAIN.

This Walmart sits in Skyline Commons off of Dickerson Pike in Northeast Nashville. Your experience…read morehonestly differs based on the time and day you pop in, so consistency here with service, stock and cleanliness is the main issue with this location. I have learned in the past few years that early weekend mornings are always the best here. From number of registers, friendliness of Associates, shelves stocked, better choices of meats, etc...So, you will rarely find me here anytime other than 9a - 10a on a Saturday or Sunday. I will say that outside of that time, this location is absolutely chaotic with unfriendly/unhelpful staff, few registers open which creates massive lines, even at self check, along with a cart riddled parking lot. So, schedule your visits with care. As with many other retail spots, a lot of items have now been placed behind locked doors, requiring assistance to get open. While the cosmetics and electronic departments are usually staffed well for this, if you ever need undies or undershirts in the men's area, good luck. Overall, this Walmart comes in clutch when needed. I have learned how to maneuver this location to ensure a solid experience each time. It is a solid 2.5 stars.

This location is mid-sized and has limited items compared to the larger locations. This is noticeable in areas such as the bakery, meats, pharmacy and a few other spots. I usually stick to the middle aisles when here as the stock is closest to larger stores. The store is in need of some TLC, as conditionally, it is a bit sad. The floors, carts, exterior, parking lot, etc...Speaking of parking lot, they have one of the worst in the area. It gets easily backed up and is pretty tough to navigate safely. Drive slow and park in the outer lot for the least headache and possibility of an accident! Service is hit and miss here. I have experienced the full gamut of service at check out from friendly and talkative to down right rude and uninterested. Overall, as mentioned, this is not my go-to Kroger location but it does serve its purpose and come in clutch when needed whether it be a random item to finish off dinner or a quick fill-up of the tank.

The layout of the interior, while not as up to date as other Nashville locations, makes a lot of sense to me as a shopper. Everything is easy to find, and it's typically well-stocked. Produce is the only section I've found that is sometimes a bit picked over. The best time to shop is a weekday morning (if your work schedule allows). Weeknight evenings also aren't too bad, as long as you can avoid the after-work rush. I almost always use self-checkout, and the team members working in that area have always been friendly and seem engaged. While this is not my favorite grocery store in town, it's a good spot to stop when you're in need of a few items.
