    2024 RFZ125 from Kronik Racing

Super nice family ran business. I just kept throwing questions at the owner and he was so nice and patient with me and my 12yr old son. He was able to answer so many of my mechanical questions, it was a breath of fresh air to deal with someone who you can tell cares about what he does and his customers. Highly recommend them!!

Easy conversion to a little duo-sport for off road exploring. 300 miles mostly off road and bike's still running strong. Gotta give it a once over occasionally to tighten anything that may have come loose. Changed carb, pipe and tires. Went up 3 teeth on front sprocket to get some more speed. I weigh 200lbs and still more than enough low gear. Very impressed with this little, inexpensive explorer/play bike.

I love the Boom Vader I bought but lots of issues only after 3 weeks. Battery had to be replaced, gas tank leaked, shifting problems, cables cut from the vin plate, front forks are horrible, clutch lever really hard, rear hub rubber cushions trashed in 1 week. Before you ride go over everything. Lube the clutch cable, take off the vin plate, adjust to proper tire pressure, change the oil frequently during the break in especially if it get hard to shift. Calls for 10-40 I just put in 20-50 and it shifts really good now. Change the rear hub rubber cushions first before you ride it. Pete the owner would only respond to texts and not calls but finally did call me. I did all the repairs myself and he sent me a check to reimburse me for the parts, new battery $70, rear hub cushions $10, JB Weld expoxy gas tank fix $10. $1650 with tax other places charge $2000 without tax

So Im a 40 year old dad and had just got my first pit bike 2nd hand and was told it was bought here. Didn't know a thing about them so I brought it in and Pete got me squared away. Upgraded a few things to get the best performance out of it and he even steered me away from some things that wouldn't even be worth it. I always appreciate when a shop owner is honest enough to tell me when something isn't worth a purchase. Anyways, from now on all my pit bike accessories and upgrades will be bought here. Definitely a cool shop with a cool owner.

First ride after bike purchase, Red Rock Canyon. Simply amazing!

Internet bikes had too many add-on fees and unanswered questions for me. Pete's honest cost and knowledge of equipment saved me from bad assembling and registration nightmares. Plus, after riding stupid, buying local gave me the mechanical support I needed from this friendly, family owned business. They actually talk me out of buying unnecessary stuff and show me ways to enjoy the ride!

Bought my first bike here at Kronik Racing and my experience with the shop was great and the owner Pete was very helpful and very professional. Will recommend all my friends here for their service and their needs here. Thanks Pete!

Just got it unloaded ready for first ride.

Kronik racing is awesome. I haven't had them do any maintenance yet, but I called in curious about getting a small street legal bike for camping and putting around. After talking to Pete I settled on the Boom Retro. First off they really do honor the price, no hidden fees, no hidden taxes, the price is the price. Secondly, he was very accessible to answer my questions, they did a great job with assembly and having the bike ready. My son and I absolutely love the bike. We both fit on it comfortably, he is only 8 and its a great little bike to putt around the neighborhood, run to the store, take camping, etc. We've been cruising around every day and he can't wait to go again and again, and again. I am very happy with the product and the experience with Kronik racing. Now my kiddo wants one of their little dirt bikes, and if I can swing it, he will be getting one for his B day or Santa will bring him one. Thanks Kronik Racing I hope to be back for some more bikes. At those prices, I could build a small collection.

Sold me my sons first bike ! Great prices and quality

They have a great sales, parts and service team and popping into the shop always puts a smile on my face. The sales floor has amazing deals on gorgeous, new Suzukis, Yamahas and Triumphs. I always have to keep my wallet in check when I walk through to get to the parts department. The parts department has most of what I need when I'm wrenching away on my bikes or when I have to replace riding gear. Great selection at great prices. Gary is my man! He'll take care of you and help you find what you need. The service department is honest and fair priced! This is important these days. I've been to many shops that will overcharge you or steer you wrong. Go see Chris. He'll get your bike diagnosed and running the way it should, without you spending more than you need to. Thanks Simi Valley Cycles!

I don't know what's going on with this dealership but it isn't what it used to be. I've been riding motorcycles for 45 years and lived in the same area and I'm sad to say I won't be going back to this store ever again. What a huge disappointment the store has become.

Review for the service department:…read more Super friendly and easy to work with! Prices are also very reasonable compared to other local shops. Brought in a set of wheels off my Vespa to have the shop swap out to a new set of tires. I provided the tires myself and the shop charged $50 per wheel to get the tires swapped and balanced. Wheels were ready for pickup the following day and were nice and clean. Thanks again!

Sales - (5/5 Excellent) Service - (2/5 Below Average)…read more This year I purchased both a Triumph Scrambler and an Aprilia Tuareg 660 Rally from this dealership. Here's my honest review of their Sales and Service Departments: Sales: Brandon was outstanding to work with -- professional, honest, and great with communication. He kept me updated on the progress of my special-order Aprilia and honored a competitive price match on my Triumph. The Finance Department was equally efficient and transparent. There were no high-pressure add-ons or upselling tactics, and both purchases were completed in about 30 minutes each. I truly appreciated how simple and straightforward the entire sales experience was. Service: Unfortunately, the Service Department was a completely different experience. For my Triumph's first service, I needed a broken bolt removed to replace both clutch and brake levers, and to have the service wrench light reset. I was charged 1.5 hours of labor for a task that typically takes 15 minutes. The service light wasn't reset, and when I picked up the bike, the seat wasn't properly latched -- something I luckily noticed before transporting it home. For my Aprilia's first service, I scheduled the work to include installation of the quick shifter and heated grips. The total cost was around $1,000. Despite having an appointment and being told the bike would be ready by the end of the day, I was later informed it hadn't even been touched. When I returned the next day -- a four-hour round trip costing roughly $100 in gas -- I was told the bike was "done," only to be informed in person that a technician smelled a burnt-clutch odor in the oil and suggested I leave it for further inspection. No details, no follow-up plan, and no quick diagnostic -- just a vague recommendation to spend more money on a new evaluation. When I asked if a simple clutch test was performed, I was told they were "too busy." At that point, it was clear my time and investment weren't valued. I chose not to authorize more labor for a potential warranty issue, and decided I won't be returning for future service. Positive Note: Izzy, who works the service counter, deserves recognition -- always polite, professional, and genuinely helpful. Final Thoughts: Customers expect to build trust and confidence with a dealership's service department. Unfortunately, I left with neither. While the Sales Team was excellent, my experiences with Service -- especially with technician Eric -- were disappointing and have completely eroded my confidence in their operation. I would not recommend this dealership for service.

But it had major issues, so I figured well, it's free, so I'll just go get everything fixed and then I'll give it back to him for the kind act of letting me use it. When I first arrived, he was on the phone, and I sat there for literally 15 minutes while he talked to a person, and then took another call for another 10 minutes while I sat there in his office, waiting for him to get off the phone. I should've left right then. The bike had a serious coolant leak, bad rear brake, a rear tire that had been burned on one spot all the way down to the threads, which I didn't know, the clutch was terrible, and worst of all, and the thing that I wanted to fix the most was that the bike sputtered when you took off, and this with a bad clutch as well, which made the bike actually quite dangerous to ride, This is what I wanted him to fix most besides the coolant leak. I had already done a bunch of research about it and found that this was a failing common to this model 2002 YZF-600R, which is the little cousin of the Yamaha R6. I told him as respectfully as I could that I had done a lot of research and the problem was almost always one of the coils on one of the cylinders and that the fix was pretty simple. He said with all the bravado I'm sure he could muster, and I'm paraphrasing, "well I have a whole bunch of other sources that have actually worked on bikes for many years "or something like that, completely dismissing anything I had said to him. So instead, he rebuild all four carburetors which cost me $1400. Totally unnecessary. I also said to him, please look over the entire bike, examine it and tell me what it needs and please find anything that needs fixing and I'll pay for it. I dropped the bike off in mid December. Two weeks or three weeks later, I called him and he said he hadn't had time to look at it. I called two weeks later and he said the same thing. Right before I was ready to just come get the bike, and go to someone else, he said he was waiting for some back ordered parts from China. Or somewhere. And every time I called him, he said they were back ordered and he still hadn't received them. These were just hoses. Finally in like March he said that the hoses had arrived, but they were the wrong ones. And then he said the old ones are OK so I'll just put those in. I came to get the bike, the sputter was still there, I found the horribly defective rear tire, that was a horrible accident, waiting to happen, noticed the clutch was the same as when I left it, and the sputtering was still there,. When I called him and told him about this, he said that he had ridden it and he didn't notice that. That's absolute bullshit. Anyone that's ever ridden a motorcycle,( I have ridden motorcycles, my whole life and I'm 55 years old) known immediately that that bike sputtered when you were initially taking off. So he said bring the bike back and I'll look at it again. He lied straight to my face. I'm sure of it. Reluctantly, I did take it back because I already had so much invested I wasn't gonna go anywhere else. He called me in May. This is five months after I drop the bike off. Five. Months. And guess what the problem was? A bad coil on one of the cylinders. I bought a new rear tire and he said he would install it for free. When I showed up, he said he needed $100 for the rear tire installation and then I told him that he had told me that he would install the rear tire for free. Then he got all shitty and said " why don't we just stop this here and you can just go. Take the bike." This guy had my bike for five months, totally ignored everything I said about what I wanted, charge me $1400 for something it didn't need, failed to inspect the motorcycle, didn't adjust the clutch, and totally lied about riding the bike after he had rebuilt the carburetors, unnecessarily. I have no doubt that this guy is a good motorcycle mechanic. And I have no doubt that he has his fans. And I also have no doubt that he can fix your motorcycle. But you better ask him when you're gonna get it back, because if you don't, he might keep it for five damn months and not fix it.
