I regret ordering tires online from the corporate e-commerce retailers but I didn't know these guys were around at the time. Now I do! They will price match on parts which is huge. Please support your local independent motorcycle shop, we don't have many honest competent ones left. The tire change was quick and proper, done when they said it would be done and very professional. If I'm ever in over my head on my own maintenance or labor I will definitely hit them up, they seemed well versed in all makes and models and had a good amount of jobs going. The owner is deceiving, liar, and not honest at all, he charges money based on the amount of work that supposedly thinks it's going to take, he said that he diagnosed my bike by simply looking at it!, and told me after the fact that just to start, and he wasn't sure!, that my carburetors need it to be cleaned and rebuild again, for $1400 just to start thinking that will fix my problem!, he is shyster very unprofessional, non scrupulous at all about the client!! I order a oil pump for Harley Davidson never installed It never took it out of the box brand new part wouldn't take returns over a slightly corner of the box bent up and not ripped. he even admitted to the real reason why he really wouldn't a return because he hasn't sold one in 5 years.. what does that have to do with the consumer? read more

Its awful experience, one of my friends recommended this repair shop for my motorcycle issues , then I took motorcycle on Wednesday to there and Eren said we are busy and its take till next week to check it but he didn't give me accurate time and just say we are busy I can't give you time, then I went to the shop asking for motor and again he said same thing, then I decided to took motor to somewhere else. Eren the owner of business didn't treat me well and I ask him to help me to load the motor in my truck and he said no I cant , finally the guy was next to his shop helped me to do that. Two guys, Bryan & Aaron, who really take care of you. I found them to be honest, straight-shooting, and fair about their pricing. I'm just really pleased with my experience with them. I needed a stator replacement and they took the time to find out "why" I needed a stator replacement and found that my bike is running lean which overheats the engine. They could have just swapped it out, but they demonstrated a true care about the bike and made sure I knew what was going on. I really appreciated it!! Cycle gear Thousand Oaks suggested to go to bulletproof cycle for my tires change. I went to service shop at the back and met Aaron. I asked if they have a front tire Diablo Rosso III (since I had rear one already) for purchase and what price. He said yes they do, double checked with showroom. And gave me cycle gear price. I said ok, let me do some research I'll let you know. Asked him to check rear brake rotor on my bike. He confirmed that I need to replace it. I ordered the part and paid for it. He said that suppose to get the part next day or day after, the latest. And will call or text me to schedule the service. Which sounded really good and promising. I went home and after some research I called him and asked If he can match price which I found for front tire, he said no. So I told him it's fine I understand, I'll order it from different place then and when I'll get it I'll bring both tires to you to replace my old ones all together. Four Busines days after purchasing rear brake rotor I called to shop and find out that part was delivered and I can schedule service. But I didn't schedule the service because my friend suggested different shop where his good friend with 25+ years of experience worked as motorcycle mechanic and price was lower. At that point I just wanted to go to pick up the part. And I understand that things can go different than we expected. Person can forget to call because too busy or something else. I get it. But when I went to pick up my part Aaron acted upset and that me canceling service isn't cool. Because he price matched front tire and had it already in the system like I was going to buy it from him ‍. I reminded him about our conversation on the phone but he claimed that I talked to different person from showroom but when I called I specifically asked to talk to Aaron. And could recognize his voice on the phone. Anyway It was disappointing unprofessional treatment and lack of customer service. Shop is pretty much around the corner from my home. I needed front forks repair too but I decided to do it a bit later because of labor cost which Aaron told me. I was planning to bring more business but will have to take my bike to a different place now. Definitely won't suggest this shop from my experience. read more

Yesterday, I took my 2007 FLHTCU to Bulletproof to have new tires put on. I had purchased the tires on line as the price was good. I dropped off the bike and Bryon said it would be a couple hours, given it is a full dresser. Although I hadn't received al call from them yet, I went back after a couple of hours as my son needed to head to VB practice and I didn't want to Uber. When I got there the bike was still on the rack and they informed me they were struggling with getting the new rear to seat on the beads. After many attempts, using different methods and help from other mechanics in the area, it just would not seat. Even though we confirmed the tire was the right size, they recommended trying a slightly different sized tire, which they didn't have in the shop. So they made a call, ran down the street to get the other sized tire and it went right on. Although it took quite awhile to get the right fit and put it all together, it was my decision to come back and wait while they did the work. I am glad I did as it gave me time to talk about the shop and find out about the team and what they know. I gained some great insight on what I should and shouldn't do with my recently purchased bike and what Bulletproof can do for me in the future. I want to thank the guys for sticking it out, trying all the tricks of the trade to make my tire work before going to the alternative. I have 3 dirt bikes and 3 Harleys. I take them all to Aaron. He is honest and tells you Like it Is. He does not try and upsell anything to me. He's lowered my bikes, rebuilt my carb in my 06 XL 650 and it's never run better they maintain all 3 Harleys and dirt bikes as well. Dude knows his bikes. Everything I've asked him to do, he does it.
