To top off my purchase I got a pair of Feetures socks and let me say, they are great so far. My feet have never felt better during workouts. The representative who answered was pleasant, asked for the SKU number, and told me one was in stock. I asked him if there was a way to hold it which he stated yes. I am store manager, so I expect nothing but the best customer experience from other people just as my employees. Upon me entering the store, nobody greeted me. There was one employee near the door on the phone and then all other employees were at the register. Normally as a customer enters, the employee should be walking towards to greet and see how they can assist. None of that was done. I walked all the way to the back to explain I was looking to pick up my shoe that was on hold for me. When they brought my shoe out, it was the complete opposite of what I was looking for. Why tell me a product is in stock and really isn't? I wasted my time and gas to drive to this location with no results. Now I am quite confused because online says there is one in stock, but every time I try to select pick up in store option, it errors out. I was told there was no way to find what other locations would have it without the SKU. Just say, I was left pretty unhappy and disappointed with my experience. In addition to being fitted with the old-school sizer he explained to me why extra room was needed. I also had a foot scan done which was very informative. Fernando also showed me a few things I had been doing that can hinder the wear and tear on my shoes. I purchased the Hoka Bondi and with Fernando's advice I'm no longer adding to the wear of my new shoes. I look forward to purchasing from Big Peach again. They're also very honest-- I was thinking about some outdoor furniture which they pointed out to me wasn't in the best condition. In order to have a successful business that can offer used goods (so hard to find in this world outside of the online world), you have to pay the rent, pay for the lights to stay on, the employees to offer the service that you get that's not online, and to make this sort of marketplace work. They also probably have a decent sense of what they can resell and what they can't...And, finally, and it's the big one for me - 3. There are legitimate deals and great quality used stuff that is reducing the waste on this planet, helping parents get sports gear for their kids at a more reasonable price and sometimes even great quality, and it's all about timing as the inventory is always changing, just like the sizes of our children. Play it again offers a way to exchange our kid's old gear, upgrade to the new, and then repeat without a bunch more $ht that we all end up with even if we have to pay a fee in the process. The people that work here have been nothing but kind to me and genuinely want to help. They pick up the phone when you call and are honest about the products. I have found a lot of great stuff here and try to buy used when I can/it makes sense. Depending on your timing again, it can be hard to find certain types of things and this is one weakness perhaps in the model. They tend to have a lot of balls, lacrosse sticks, but very few elementary age bikes for example, or roller skates in the size that you need. Some people seem to be upset about their return policy but I think they are pretty upfront about it. The store credit can be saved and eventually you will find something you want/gift idea.
