This is a beautiful shop. They have a really peaceful vibe and the girl at the counter (sorry I forgot your name) really knows the menu well; not just what the dish is made of but what really makes it different on the levels that matter, which for my mom is which noodles are rice, which have gluten, which do what in the where and I have no idea but I waited for her to get through the whole thing and we got our food. I had the Tom Kar soup and honestly it was mainly just mushrooms and broth with a couple shrimp, it's a very simple soup which O always loved, but this one just isn't as good as Krua Thai. The stir fry noodle dish is a good portion of a little light on chicken, but the way things are in 2026 who can blame the business for doing what they need to do to survive. I want to support the small shops in these hard times when I can. The spring rolls were the best part in my opinion, very light and crispy. I could honestly eat anything on a Thai menu and I'd probably love it, but the one thing that was a bit stressful is the shop refuses to print menus to look at and wants everyone to go online. They just have one small menu on the counter and my mother is 70 years old, she is too cool to carry an iphone around and the print is too small for her to read. They seem to have a bit of a take it or leave it attitude about the whole thing. Listen, some people aren't online all day, not everyone carries a 'smart'phone, and some people can't read that tiny print. If you're only going to display one menu, make it big enough for the oldies to read it. You're on Cape Cod, the biggest nursing home in the USA. You gotta cater to the oldies. Otherwise I hope they have a great summer. read more

I really do love this for Thai but recently we have noticed the lack of meat in their dishes. We ordered the basil stir fry with beef and the dish literally had three pieces of beef. The chicken dish was the same. We love vegtables but if you order it with meat you should get what you pay for. read more

Called in our order at 4PM and asked for pick up at 5PM. Order was ready when we showed up, front of house was very friendly and we even got to meet the owner. We ordered the Cashew Nut with Chicken, which come with white rice, the chicken pad thai, and crab Rangoon. All of the food was very flavorful and delicious and there was enough to serve four people even though it was just the two of us. Sooo... It was my birthday, and it had been a bit depressing. I was just going to stay home for dinner and call it done. I changed my mind and called to place an order. When the gal answered the phone, I told her that it had been a rough day, and that I just wasn't going to have hot dogs and beans for my birthday dinner and I placed my order. When I got there to pick it up, I was signing my tab and all of a sudden the 3 gals that were in there, started singing Happy Birthday and tied a beautiful Mylar Birthday Balloon to my bag!! They also included some sort of cold drink with whipped cream on top!! I was sooo surprised by their kindness and I think my eyes may have leaked a little bit!! That was the nicest thing that strangers have ever done for me in many years!! I will always remember that!! My Birthday Dinner was not only special, but delicious too!! We were in sandwich and stopped in for a quick lunch because this spot is new. We both ordered the lunch special pad Thai which came with a side salad in the SAME CONTAINER. What a rip off. The pad Thai was the smallest portion I've ever seen for a Thai place. Anyways, the pad Thai itself was below average. I wouldn't order from here again. But you simply cannot get fresher food anywhere in Sandwich and the owner is so tied to the community she is always doing something positive for everyone around. Ordered dinner last night from Krua Khun Rose. Basil Fried Rice with Pork was delicious and plentiful. The star of the night was my Wife's order of Mango Curry which we had never ordered before. It came with chicken and shrimp. Absolutely sensational! My son and I attacked it, and stole some of that amazing sauce to put on our rice. I got the Kapow Chicken which was as fresh and delicious as could be while my son got his usual Pad Thai. The apps were their spring rolls and their always excellent Crab Rangoon. A very tasty and delicious meal, as usual, with plenty of left overs for lunch today. Spotlessly clean, bright place with very friendly and helpful staff. We were in Sandwich on a quick family trip and saw this restaurant on the drive to our rental. It's a takeout only place, but there's picnic tables nearby. We ordered shrimp pad thai, mango curry, the family combo, thai iced teas, and mango & sticky coconut rice for dessert. Everything was so delicious. Krua Khun Rose makes some of the tastiest Thai food I've ever had. Absolutely delicious! Curry, pad thai, soups, everything I've had has been great. The ONLY issue I have with Krua Khun Rose is the portions of protein provided with each meal. They only included a few small pieces of chicken or shrimp or pork or whatever, but not nearly enough. Not sure if they're trying to cut costs or really think a Curry Chicken dish should include 3 pieces of chicken. If you don't care about meats, you'll love the sauces and vegetables. If you want a protein with your meal, you may be disappointed. It's not a show-stopper as I still order from KKR as the flavors are so good - just not as often as I would if their protein portions were a bit more generous. read more

This review is long overdue. We've eaten here almost every week for the past four months.....and will continue to do so. The food is great, top notch Thia food. We just moved to the Cape from the South End, the Thia at KKR would be some of the top in the city. We've explored quite a bit of the menu without disappointment but still have our favs. Not sure about some of the negative reviews about the food, which in my experience is super tasty, consistent each time, and appears to use only fresh ingredients. Great Thai food! I was visiting family in town from NYC and I will admit that I didn't expect such delicious Thai food on the cape! We had pad Thai, green curry, and house friend rice. The vegetables were fresh and plentiful in each dish. Everything was delicious - the curry was fairly spicy (I have a pretty high spice tolerance and it made my nose run by the end) and delicious. Portions are large - we had lunch the next day! Service was good - everything was prompt and the staff was very warm and friendly. Can't speak to ambiance - we did take out and I didn't pick it up. I highly recommend this spot! We ended up here after a few other local places were too hard to order from on our schedule (small children with early bedtimes), and I'm so glad we did! read more

This is without a doubt the worst customer service restaurant in the Sandwich area. I have never tasted the food and most likely never will. Went in at 2:55 PM a couple days ago for lunch I was informed that lunch ended at 3:00 ????? When I questioned. I was told that the registers were locked out. I left, miffed at the service Tonight I decided to give the another chance. I called at 4:55 to place an order and was told that they couldn't get anything ready until 6:30 . I will never support this establishment again. In the last 30 minutes I have told three people to stay away I will tell everyone in sandwich about the poor service. read more

Enjoyed our meal of Shrimp Pad Thai + Cashew Nut Stir Fry. Took the order to go and there was enough food for 2-3 meals from each dish. To earn the extra star: The shrimp pad thai didn't contain much shrimp, so I will probably order the vegetable version next time. Additionally, this place has odd hours so you have to plan in advance when you want to go. Not the easiest place to "just stop by", but if you have time to call in a take out order and pick up, it's great. We will definitely be back. read more

Great food - awful service. I have called many times, well before closing time, to place an order only to be told they are no longer taking orders. Tonight I called at 7:30 and was told they were no longer taking orders. The kitchen closes at 8:00. Why can't they take orders until closing time? Every other restaurant I've ever been in keeps the kitchen open until the posted closing time. This restaurant turns closing time into a guessing game. Stressful and not worth it even though food is good. My advice - get new front end management - people who understand customer service. read more

Didn't have terribly high expectations for this new Thai takeout spot, located next to Graziella's on the Cotuit strip in Sandwich - but they still managed to disappoint us in almost every way. 1. Service: No online ordering capability. (This is the 21st century, folks!) And it took me two tries to get through by phone. The first call all I got was an exotic voice message stating "we're busy serving other customers, call back again". Hearing this at 5:30pm on a Thursday evening was not promising. The lady who answered the second call was reluctant to take the order - let me know that the "earliest slot" the food be ready for would be 8pm. TWO HOURS to prepare? I could go shopping, come home, and cook up these dishes in that time frame - and for a lot less bank. But by now really curious, I agreed to wait and placed the order. When we showed up at 7:50pm - the place was consistently busy, but our food still wasn't ready for takeaway - we lurked around till about 8:10pm while it was being bagged up. 2. Price/Quantities: $16 for Shrimp Pad Thai and especially $18 for Shrimp Stir Fry and a Shrimp Curry dish seemed excessive, even allowing that the portions were large, since there were only about 5 shrimp to be found in each dish. We wished we had gone for the chicken versions of these dishes which would have been a better value at $14 apiece. You will want to order an extra container of white rice for the Stir Fries and Curries, which will set you back an additional $2. The $6 we paid for a side of the garlic fried rice tuned out to be a pint's worth, served in a quart container. $10 for the two huge Fresh Shrimp Salad rolls seemed worth it, but the $8 for the four crispy fried vegetarian spring rolls did not. 3. Taste: The overall impression we were left with was that this is "home cooking" style. The dishes did not have the polish and distinctive taste profile of typical Thai restaurant fare. Partly I believe that this is because most of the dishes were not cooked with the benefit of many authentic Thai ingredients. No kaffir lime, coconut, nor galangal detected on the palate. Red and green bell peppers dominated the red curry and cashew stir fry dishes, and black pepper overwhelmed the garlic rice. One was left with the feeling that all these plates could be something a home cook might have placed on the table in Bolivia, or Hungary, or Nepal. The rice, billed as "Jasmine Rice", was also - off. It was neither long enough grain nor fragrant enough to be Jasmine, nor had it been rinsed before cooking. It was starchy and a bit mushy. The first lesson of Asian cookery is how to cook white rice. Since the clerk was American I'd be curious to see if there was actually a single Thai person on the premises. Bottom line - it's amazing that this restaurant was as busy as it was, considering our experience, the delay, and the expense. The authentic Thai taste is better at Bangkok Cuisine (Hyannis, Mashpee) or Krua Thai (Buzzard's Bay, Wareham), and Cilantro Thai Cuisine (Marion) remains by far the gold standard for Thai in the region - and well worth the drive. read more

Several people have raved about this place since it opened and still I had not tried it until tonight. I have a favorite Thai restaurant off Cape that beat out everywhere I tried in NYC, so I really wasn't desperate for Thai but was curious and perhaps slightly skeptical about how great Krua Khan Rose was hyped to be. So tonight I finally picked up several dishes to bring to share with friends. We sampled the generous servings of ginger stir fry with chicken, the red curry vegetable dish with big chunks of eggplant and the yellow curry with delicious sweet potato. It was all fresh and quite delicious! No one was disappointed and Krua Khan Rose will likely become our new favorite Sandwich restaurant. read more

My Sister in law is from Thailand and she cooked for me all summer while staying with us. The food was so good and I'd even eat her dishes for breakfast! I was going to miss her so much when she left because we really connected and I knew not only would I miss her but her food as well. I was so happy to find Krua Kuhn Rose! The food is delicious and the staff wonderful. I do cook a few things on my own from watching my sister but we mostly order from this restaurant. I do not understand the negative reviews. read more
