I wasn't feeling all that great so I ordered a clear broth rice noodle soup with chicken instead of going Chinese and ordering my "my tummy is funky egg drop soup" (that I wasn't up to making either). Nice Thai restaurant on main street in Hyannis. The tofu triangles were very good, the sauce was watered down though and didn't have peanuts. The tofu pad thai was very tasty, but the waitress didn't ask for spice level, so it was not spicy at all. Yes, we didn't ask for the spice level either, our fault. We were the first party to walk in on Saturday evening around 6 (it picked up a decent bit after we came in; also consider this is off season.) Typical Thai decor and color scheme inside, it was clean and tables are spaced properly. I've gotten takeout from here several times so decided to come for dine in and what a difference. The food was excellent - reminds me of the pad Thai I would have in NYC. The summer rolls we got for appetizers were crunchy, fresh, and well stuffed with a mix of veggies. The pad Thai had the right amount of sauce and spices. The salmon was cooked as requested. Shout out to Wilson! What a sweetheart. Very attentive, funny, and kind. we had dinner last night. I ordered a vegetarian dish with tofu . what I got was a boat load of gravy with some vegetables and tofu that was the consistency of styrofoam My nephew got pat Thai with crispy noodles. A blob of fried noodles in middle of plate . not appetizing Somewhat dry I was so surprised because in the past it was pretty good. After enjoying our delivery order from this place, we decided to experience it in the flesh tonight. On the night of our visit, it was spank in the middle of Labor Day weekend so the place was busier than usual. The server was a riot but busy. She did a good job considering the circumstances but our beers were circling the drain for a while before we were able to order another round. I LOVE the many vegetarian options they have, better than what I'm used to. Many of their appetizers and entrees have a vegetarian option and we took advantage by ordering their veggie rolls and vegetable gyoza. They were both INCREDIBLE. The wrappers on the gyoza were light but crisp. They were both warm when they came out and you could tell they were fresh AF. The dipping sauce for both just took it to the next level. So good. We also ordered a couple entrees to share. A photo on yelp convinced GF to pull the trigger on the something mama noodles as it was highly rated on yelp. These were AMAZING. Some of the most flavorful noodles I've ever had. They really had a nice heat as well. The noodles were chewy. Absolutely delicious. I'm typically a ho for Penang curry but at GF's urging, we switched it up.and went with another curry, the green curry. The tofu here is delicious and the vegetables were plentiful however the curry was just.....ok. There was nothing about it that made me feel compelled to eat it, I could take it or leave it. It is soooo difficult to find a Thai restaurant that makes a tom yum noodle soup and makes it well. Taste of Siam is a tiny Thai restaurant on Main Street in Hyannis but blink and you'll miss it and trust me, you don't want to! The inside of the restaurant is small but very clean and designed to make you comfortable. The service is friendly and excellent. Our food was brought out in a timely manner and my soup was hot. (I hate warm soup yuk!) Hubs and I ordered the summer rolls. They were rolled well and had everything inside that was expected. The peanut sauce was very good. (I prefer a thicker peanut sauce). I ordered the Tom yum noodle soup with seafood assortment. It was full of beautiful shrimp and scallops and calamari. Very lemony and delish!! Hubs ordered Massaman Curry with chicken. He loved it. This is a nice, cozy restaurant in the Cape. It was wonderful that my family of 5 came to a consensus on some Thai food while we were in the area. The service was great- we ordered vegetarian spring roll, Thai chicken wings and scallion pancake. They were some delicious starters. We also ordered shrimp udon, drunken noodles, red curry and rice. This place in Main Street has fresh and tasty food. Fr the outside it looks like nothing but the food is flavorful and delicious. Before dining I called to ask if we can reserve a table, the woman who picked up the phone told me they are booked solid. I, then asked if we can maybe sit outside, she said no they have no room. After 10 min we drive by and saw that the restaurant is totally empty! We walked in and OF COURSE had plenty of room to sit. When we asked for the dessert menu, the same woman told us " no dessert tonight". I never seen a business where they don't want to make money on the service they basically are offering! read more

Ate here twice during my two month stay in Hyannis. First time, ordered Ginger Rice Entree with tofu for lunch. They use fried tofu for their tofu option. Ginger entree was fairly decent. Second time, ordered Pad See Ew for dinner. Noodles used were wide and cooked well. Seasoning was good as well. However, Pad See Ew is normally cooked with Chinese broccoli, but they used a vegetable medley (carrots, snow peas, American broccoli, cauliflower, zucchini), which I was not expecting. On their menu, they have carrot and snow peas listed for their Pad See Ew, and I even asked to not add that to my dish. I know they used a vegetable medley to cater to non-Asian people. But personally, adding all those vegetables only takes away the valve of the dish. Friend ordered crispy chicken Siam fried rice, and I had a taste of it, and it was decent. Another friend ordered the yellow curry with shrimp, and was quite impressed with the type of shrimp they used. Shrimp was like a tiger shrimp. Overall a decent place for Thai on the cape. Would rate it a 3.5. Ginger: Sliced fresh ginger, pepper, onion, mushroom and scallions in light oyster sauce. Loved this place when they first opened a few yrs ago. Service has gone way downhill bordering on rude. No welcoming smiles no warmth and placing my order if there is any variation from the menu or dietary special need feels like an imposition. There was a young man who used to work there named Golf -- he was so friendly and bright and nice and made every meal I ate there a pleasure. all the service I have had since then or sub par. The vibe is dark and dull in there and the soup I had for lunch recently was bland and boring and had no color and it no carrots ( even though she said there would be because I asked) and the tofu was deep fried... You never put fried tofu in a clear soup you put plain soft tofu in a clear soup! So... TAste Of Siam.. Find some new servers who have good positive energy!! Bring some love and good vibes into your restaurant and make people feel happy while they're eating!!! (Your bad vibes are going into the food and that doesn't help anyone either). I went here recently for dinner when in town and the place was empty. I kept hearing a lot of extreme hacking cough and sneezing in the kitchen. No one was wearing a mask of course. At 1st we didn't think it was the same place because they're under new ownership which is not a bad thing they still have great food large portions are very friendly and speak excellent english! We missed the lunch special so we ordered the chicken and vegetables in the red curry which was fabulous it actually fed both of us meaning one meal we split in half. Phenomenal. The food was spot on and the atmosphere was so cozy and accommodating. I like everything very spicy and they are the only folks on Cape that have believed me. The drunken noodle with squid was PERFECT. Ask for a side of fish sauce. The apps were tasty and I love that we could get a pot of ginger tea. The soups were on point.
