This tiny little restaurant has the best Thai food in the area. I am a big fan of Pad Thai, because I love peanuts. Theirs is great! No gross orange sauce. The sides are cheap and delicious, so try them all. I love the Tom Kor chicken soup, but the flavor is a little strong if you aren't used to Thai spices. The curry is satisfying. I don't love green beans in my curry, but my family liked them. What's especially nice about this place is that it's right near the canal. If you want a nice date, you could take a walk after dinner. Tiny little spot which adds to the mom and pop aspect of this great restaurant. I've been several times and will return several times more. They have available the typical suite of Thai menu items and are reasonably priced for the portion sizes. Everything I've tried has been to my liking and I look forward to returning again soon. Krau Thai has never disappointed me once and I've been coming here since I was a kid. The best Thai food around, great prices and plenty of food. Afternoon lunch is perfect with friends and family. A few of us tried the Bankok Thai place in Mashpee (new place) and it cannot compare with Krua!! Wonderful people and fantastic food! Like a sweet Thai samosa), pad see ew (we eat this everywhere we go and this compares with some of the best), and basil pad Thai (this comes with shrimp and chicken, but we got it vegetarian and it had a good amount of veggies. Hands down, BEST AUTHENTIC thai food around, compares to any authentic thai in Boston. Thumbs down on no restrooms (bring hand sanitizer), but everything else is thumbs up. The food, the friendly staff (I think they're all family or atleast that's the vibe I get), large portions, little hole in the wall, but quaint. I'm so glad we read these reviews and stopped in! We will definitely be back. Had the fresh rolls, oh so good, sauce was thicker than usual which we found better to stick to the lettuce. Hubby had crispy chicken and loved it, I had the chicken basil combo. Am dying to try the pad thai or crazy noodles now. The restroom thing, ummm, probably need to check into that, not sure that's legal, but it is a tiny place. We were a little worried when the teenager came over to wait on us, I was hoping he wasn't the cook too! Fear not, the food was darn good and fresh. Drawback, no liquor license, not even beer or wine, but had interesting canned drinks and of course thai iced tea and coffee. Next time I think we'll call ahead to see if we can BYOB...but there will definitely be a next time! Totally come down off your high horse and look past the tiny exterior, lots of take out was happening while we were there. read more

Great Pad Thai and very friendly service. One of the smallest "restaurants" I've seen that tries to have seating. The one time I tried one of their curry dishes I was a little disappointed, but mostly because their noodle dishes are so great, especially their Basil Pad Thai. If you're in the area give them a try, but I would recommend take-out. read more
