First time eating seafood boil ever, it was a hit! The food was very fresh and delicious, especially the sausage was very fresh! Everything tasted really good, EXTREMELY flavorful! The shrimps were still covered in their hard shells but after peeling them off, my outdoor cats enjoyed crunching on them. It comes with a mix of Pink sausage slices, mussels cooked in their shells, shrimp and small potatoes soaking in Red, delicious spicy garlic ...flavored liquid for dipping! Extra delicious! I only ate about a quarter of it and gave the rest of it to a friend because it was too much cholesterol for me lol! I've never eaten from here before and I definitely recommend it! We finally decided to try The Juicy Seafood, despite having avoided it in the past due to multiple people telling us they'd gotten sick there. Unfortunately, our brief visit confirmed our hesitation. Upon walking in, the hostess was eating while seating us, which immediately felt unprofessional. The overall appearance of the food around us wasn't appetizing, and there was a lingering odor throughout the restaurant that resembled an old bathroom smell. Stopped by as I was in the area for lunch on a Friday during Lent. Ordered one of the lunch specials the shrimp po boy! Really great deal it comes with soup or salad and a basket with fries and bread or coleslaw. It was a half sandwich so only 3 battered and fried shrimp but good seasoning. They have a full bar and lots of seating throughout. Not sure if they were understaffed that day, but our waitress did take a long time to take our order when we first sat down but it happens sometimes. read more

The Dungeoness crab was dry, rubbery and flavorless. The snow crab was much sweeter and had more of a bouncy chew. The corn and potatoes didn't have any flavor or saltiness even though prepared with the seafood. I was disappointed by the flavor and overall quality of seafood. The clam chowder, however, was the saving grace. There were noticeable pieces of clams in the chowder, thick and creamy. We typically always go to juicy Seafood when we are in town. We usually have no issues, but this time around seems like the crab barely had any crab in it... including the king crab. The food was ok coming from up north I think I'm just use to a little more seasoning i got a medium sauce level I should have just got hot. From the moment we walked in, the service was unwelcoming. The host was very dry and acted as if he didn't want to seat us. I even pointed out that there was water on the floor where he was taking us, yet he still proceeded to seat us there. I politely asked if we could move to a table closer to the window because my daughter was cold where we were sitting. Instead of accommodating the request, the bartender came over with an attitude and said it was only her and one other server, so they wanted us to sit closer to the bar. The restaurant was practically empty, with only two gentlemen sitting at the bar, so the response made no sense. I looked at my daughters and said, "Let's go." I recently visited Juicy Seafood and the food was amazing, but unfortunately the service took away from the experience. Our server (a tall WHITE young woman with RED HAIR and a tattoo) was very rude. When I walked up to the host stand to check if gratuity was already included so I could tip correctly, she slammed my tab down on the counter and started yelling at the hostess without understanding the situation. As someone who has worked as a hostess, I always make sure to tip, so the interaction was really disappointing. Great food, but the service definitely needs improvement. I've been for lunch and dinner many times. The service is always good, especially during lunch. The freshness of the seafood is a hit or miss. On a couple occasions, I could tell the crab legs weren't the freshest. Some black spots on the legs and the shrimp had a funny taste. But most recently, it has been a better experience. read more

As with most seafood boil places, we were provided with gloves and bibs to enjoy our meal. Staff were friendly and service was good. The place was also clean and well conditioned. Plenty of seating and parking too! Food: I was craving a cajun boil and this definitely satisfied it! - 2 lbs of house flavor (mild) shrimp (head-on): seasoning was good and flavorful, and mild spice offered a nice slow burn. While it's not the best cajun flavoring I've had (I'd prefer a little more umami and tangy), it was still very satisfying and soaked into the boil nicely! The quality of the shrimp and size were also decent. The sausage and corn on the cob were yummy! Overall, this was a nice place to check out if you're in the area and craving seafood. Prices were average for a boil (~$16 per lb). There is no half star system on Yelp, but I'd say it's more of a 3.5/5! read more
